That was my thougt exactly. You're not supposed to separate puppies from the litter until they're at least 8 weeks old. They need the milk and they can develop psychological issues if taken to early from the mom.

the baby's tails are not fully developed at that age, they curl as they get older, but also uncurl during mood changes anyway. plus the curl ranges from a slight curl, to a twist, double twist and triple twist in rare cases.. depends on the breeding. pugs are great :D
