If you want to take into account the mentality of the person in question, the criminal, taking into account their religion is one of those factors. Taking into account their race isn't. The best thing to do is ban islamic teachings and deport all muslims who refuse to sign a patriot document. Jail/hang people like Anjem Choudry and stop all muslim immigration. I'm curious as to what accommodations you're speaking of. Most parts of religion can be practiced without the state accommodating it, and as for mosques they don't have to be built using tax payer money.

In Britain they are pushing for Sharia courts, which would mean two co-existing systems of laws and governments. Muslims are far numerous than suggested in this video and now policy leans towards not doing something that offends Islam. I believe if you are in Rome you need to do as the Romans. You should not go to a different country and demand they bend things to suit you.
