If you are willing to spend just a couple of minutes and look on the internet, such visions and appearance of God's proves that God is merciful even to those who are being prevented from hearing the gospel (google:muslims appearance of christ). Dawkins says that He would rather have no God than an evil or not perfect one. By that logic then wouldn't it be better if Dawkins (and me...) would have never existed since we really aren't that good. In fact, by that basis, should not God then believe the same - that if God sees evil people that He should just cause them to die or wipe them out or annihilate them just as (Dawkins would abbhor) for his same reason.

@cabouaf1 Why shouldn't we exist if we aren't perfect? I say existing wouldn't be worth it if we are perfect. We'd be perfectly boring all the time.

And why should we wish to have a god who isn't perfect? At least a perfect god would be consistent and treats everyone the same way - quite an improvement over the Abrahamic god and its multiple standards playing favorite with its "chosen" people.

@SDCmorg There are 2 kinds of christians. One, that when things go wrong, understands, that life and especially people aren't perfect and trust that God will use the uphill to build muscle. The 2nd type, when things go wrong, gets angry at God forgetting that uphills strengthen muscles or loves the "easy life" so much, he'd rather have "it" than muscles or the excitement of challenge. Whats interesting is the two views of life by two people so similar looking at the same glass 1/2 full or empty.

@cabouaf1 No. An atheist simply does not try to interpolate a god into the motive of how everything works or doesn't work while a theist does. That doesn't make a theist more optimistic. It makes them daydreamers (some in good way, some in not so good way).

Not seeing a compelling evidence for god is not the same as seeing a compelling evidence for no god. If you can't decipher this difference (or realize that 'god' means different things to different people), you don't know what atheism is.

I know people that no matter what these men do they already see them in a good or bad light.Yes, beyond a shadow of doubt, with 100% certainty there is evidence of God, not proof but evidence. However, to win arguements Atheist don't consider there to be any evidence. If they do they graduate to be agnostic. Its okay to admit the truth in humility. I'm not afraid to say there's is some evidence for evolution.

It doesn't bother me, because all the evidence in the world doesn't take the presence of God's firey electric presence in my bones and flesh when I pray in the Spirit. Saying theres evidence or so much evidence doesn't shake my faith so I can admit it or partially true fact that come. However, your confidence on the absence of God would be shaken once you see or perceive any so you don't, this is the definition of pride.
