@Mauritsonline Sorry for lateness in this reply. The table actually a coffee table design, generally its deployed in areas you would sit around it rather than stand.
As for tapping things twice; The main reason is we hadn't configured windows 7 entirely for touch. You can in fact alter the size of buttons, scroll bars, menus etc to make them more usable for fingers, which are obviously chunkier than a mouse. This makes touch interaction a lot smoother.
Why does he need to tab everything twice? is the table lazy or the touchscreen not that good? It also looks that the table is a bit low for the demonstrator, or is he just that tall?
i hope they remembered that mufti touch is patented. and the UI needs a lot of work.
