All right awsome cover...but check the second chord at the beginning... you play B minor and then C minor; the C minor is wrong it's G minor...if you want to be sure of that the live at pompeii version which is one 1/2 tone higher is C minor and G#/Abm at the beginning so if you go 1/2tone lower you got exactly B minor G minor :-)
This is a cool piece. I don't think I ever saw this gem before. Or if I did I don't remember. I dig it Eddie. Was this shot with you HD camera? I can see the leaves on the trees even from across the lake.
@Byrds1967 Hey compadre :) Yes, was a Panasonic HS-9 or something like that. An interesting little machine. This was one of the first times I used it. Like practically any other model, does not works so good under low light circumstances. But, if the light is ok, we can reach some reasonable results indeed. Glad you like the video. :)
Hey Ed looks like youtube removed my first comment. Cool scenery really suits the vid i like the end where your playing to the ghost audience. Anyhow already gave you five stars ,oh won my fight ha ha ha.
Hey sir, thanks a lot for the comment re-writing. It is very important to me and means a lot. That park in front of my building is a green spot in the middle of a one million people crazy and almost out of control city. Like amywamie said, I want to live there. :(
Wowser! WHat beautiful visuals. Where was this filmed? I want to live there. Great work here and lovely sounds. soothing and calming all around. So glad you found me.
Hello there!!! :) Not sure if they were trying to help or complaining, but... anyway, I think it was an interesting add on!!! Thanks for the stop and comment, really appreciated!!! :)
Thanks, man. BTW, have you seen the video on YT that syncs Echoes by Floyd with the end of 2001, Space Odyssey? Pretty cool. If not, I saved it to the Favorites on my homepage. Check it out.
Wow!!! Thanks a lot!!! I had no knowledge of that video! Very cool indeed and certainly a double respectful tribute. According the words of Waters on the book "The Dark Side of the Moon", (obviously referring to the famous album), he wanted to write the soundtrack for Kurbrick's 2001. There's no info on the book regarding why this never happened. Nothing against the marvelous/epic soundtrack in 2001, but... man, try to imagine that film with songs specially written by Floyd...
Hey man... I like this very much!! The way you put those images was fantastic... This music remember me some old fellings... it sends me to space and brake the real time... it turns my mind...
SURE compadre!!!!! In fact you can do whatever you want. And, if you want, we can perform another version of this based on the live version! After all, you are the man!
Instead of Bm to Cm, its Bm to B flat omitted 5th added 6th. For the Bflat chord, you play 1st and 6th together then 1st and 3rd for the 2nd key press.
If you listen closely to most versions, original album, pompei etc, you'll see it is noticable.
Still, I loved the vid and the sounds are nice and authentic, very much like the album version which is my favourite, even though most prefer pompei ect.
Thanks a lot for your stop, comment and remarks. I really need to improve my ear, due the fact I just have no idea about what notes/chords I am playing. Shame. Anyway, I'm looking toward to improve :)
Wow you have a lot of patience to do these songs and hold those notes for so long, once I wanted to learn the Time guitar solo but got bored with it and gave up. Excellent cover!
This is the good side of songs like these: hit the correct keys, take a nap without moving the hands, wake up, hit the other keys, take another nap and so on. Perfect for people who knows almost nothing about how to play like me!!!!! :) Thank you very much for the compliment!!!
saucerfull is ..my fave album of the pre darkside times..songs like this or set the controls..mean a lot for me eddie...and this vid...is amazing...you are amazing wonderfull!!!respect!my friend...and what for a great location...very psychedelic!

This reminds me of a beautiful Stave Church Setting I saw in Norway where they were building an outdoor theatre like this one.

This is a fantastic job!!! The sounds are so nostalgic, and the images so peacefuly! And by the way I can see we have at least 3 things in common: 1.We live in this beautiul Country, 2.we love music and the same instrument, and 3.we've learned english "no tora", hehehehehe!!!
Congrats, bro!! You came in very shy, and are a great revelation here, on YouTubeLand!!!
You have no idea how I'm laughing here right now... Believe me... you have no idea. You see? "No tora" methodology rulez!!!!!! It won't be very easy to explain this for some people (who I'm pretty sure they will ask what is that all about), but, no problem at all!!! Heh Heh Heh!!!!
But, that's it meu amigo: you are completely right. We have a lot in common and it is being good to put out some things from the mind using YT. It's being better yet to meet some people like you there. :) Thanks!
Yes Milady. Everything was generated by a keyboard and a sound module. There is an interesting point regarding this sound module: the patch works with some samples of a legendary instrument called "Mellotron". The "Mellotron" used tapes with real recordings from vocal enembles/chorus. So, in some point, someone - for real - sung on this song, despite the whole bizarre technology. Something organic in the middle of this techy mess!!!!
HAHA!!! Não é à toa que qualquer hora dessas eu vou é acabar tentando me empregar numa escola de inglês dessas que ensina na base do "Hi, I'm Mike... What's your name?" . Resumiu bem Milady. O som das vozes é nada mais nada menos do que uma gravação. Cada tecla "dispara" uma tonalidade. A diferença do Mellotron é que hoje se usam chips de memória e na época do glorioso instrumento, eram fitas mesmo!
Hahahaha!!!! De qualquer forma a famosa frase "The Book is on the Table" é um clássico. Virou até remix nas pistas de dança dos nightclubs. Lembra-se do remix? "The book is on the table - table - table - ta - ta - ta - ta -table". O clássico dos clássicos!!!!!! No meu caso, eu NÃO aprendi inglês!!!! Eu vou "na tora" como dizem por aqui. A minha sorte é que alguns gringos conseguem entender. Hehehehhehehhe ;)

No problem Eddie.
Just take the 1st chord u play ie B minor.
To get the the B flat drop 5th added 6th, just drop the 1st note buy a semi tone (1 note) and raise the 3rd note in the chord by a semi tone (1 note).
That will give you the correct starting chords for Celestial.
Great work again and good luck.
