All right awsome cover...but check the second chord at the beginning... you play B minor and then C minor; the C minor is wrong it's G minor...if you want to be sure of that the live at pompeii version which is one 1/2 tone higher is C minor and G#/Abm at the beginning so if you go 1/2tone lower you got exactly B minor G minor :-)

@Byrds1967 Hey compadre :) Yes, was a Panasonic HS-9 or something like that. An interesting little machine. This was one of the first times I used it. Like practically any other model, does not works so good under low light circumstances. But, if the light is ok, we can reach some reasonable results indeed. Glad you like the video. :)

Wow!!! Thanks a lot!!! I had no knowledge of that video! Very cool indeed and certainly a double respectful tribute. According the words of Waters on the book "The Dark Side of the Moon", (obviously referring to the famous album), he wanted to write the soundtrack for Kurbrick's 2001. There's no info on the book regarding why this never happened. Nothing against the marvelous/epic soundtrack in 2001, but... man, try to imagine that film with songs specially written by Floyd...

Nice,very nice but the beginning is wrong.

Instead of Bm to Cm, its Bm to B flat omitted 5th added 6th. For the Bflat chord, you play 1st and 6th together then 1st and 3rd for the 2nd key press.

If you listen closely to most versions, original album, pompei etc, you'll see it is noticable.

Still, I loved the vid and the sounds are nice and authentic, very much like the album version which is my favourite, even though most prefer pompei ect.

Just take the 1st chord u play ie B minor.

To get the the B flat drop 5th added 6th, just drop the 1st note buy a semi tone (1 note) and raise the 3rd note in the chord by a semi tone (1 note).

That will give you the correct starting chords for Celestial.

Yes Milady. Everything was generated by a keyboard and a sound module. There is an interesting point regarding this sound module: the patch works with some samples of a legendary instrument called "Mellotron". The "Mellotron" used tapes with real recordings from vocal enembles/chorus. So, in some point, someone - for real - sung on this song, despite the whole bizarre technology. Something organic in the middle of this techy mess!!!!
