  • malisimo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • saw him play this live. BOO YA

  • man this is fast! *phew....

    very good though, obviously !

  • Sure, the slower pieces are the hardest to play emotionally, but this is pretty bloody hard as well! I've only tried to play this, but because I have awful clarity, it ended terribly. Not to mention I went through several bows, strings, and plasters on my fingers! *shakes head* it was painful. maybe one day I'll try again, until then, Bach and Brahms, you are my friends. XD

  • AMAZING!!!

apparently, 22 people are tone deaf. Or rather... completely deaf blathering idiots.

  • Julian and his brother Andrew - The two most talented musicians/ composers in the world! ( in my opinion :D)

  • I'm learning this piece... That is REALLY FAST!!!! I think I just had a heart atta- *falls to floor*

  • His skills are MADNESS!!

  • Absolutely BRILLIANT!!!!

  • LOVE THIS!!!

Although I have to wonder how healthy this is for a bow:1:41-1:45,

  • @ElizabethLovesMuch probably isnt O_O

  • Hay que ser más gitano.

  • nice arrangement - but they play that grand finale so fast, i think they miss some of the essence of what Falla was looking for there. but then again, what the hell do i know

  • This is the best fire dance i ever heard!!!!!!!!!!

  • He plays simply and he plays great. He plays simply great.

  • six stars

  • Easily the best!

  • the ONLY one on youtube! With one of the best on youtube!

  • best rendition on youtube

  • couldn't agree more, I even favorite'd

  • @sepehrsadrzadeh best rendition ever

  • awesome 8)

  • @pumpuckelis best rendition ever

  • Lloyd Webber kept on giving the pianist these maniacal slash borderline schizophrenic looks. Was the pianist doing something wrong?

Great piece, one of my favourites.

  • His accompanist Peter Pettinger is one of the greatest piano accompanists ever, so I don't think it was that - possibly his expression is more to do with the ferocity of the piece, and he is looking to the pianist for cues to keep together.

  • exactly as I saw it. Keeping the tone and also the communication. It is a common criticism of Lloyd webber that he is rushed (see poppers gavotte), but personally I see him bringing the emotion back in

  • one of my favorite works

  • amazing that's all i can say

  • i think it was a bit too fast ... maisky's version on youtube is more interesting ... although Lloyd Webber's playing in this video is better, Maisky's interpretation seems more emotional ... i prefer it ...

  • Amazing! Bravo! TY.

  • WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!

  • WOW!

  • omg....

  • this is the 1st peice i mastered...blew all of my friends away when i 1st played mind u they didnt think a guy like me could play anway its dazzing difficult to play and its so fast

  • Great stuff except that the pianist was a bit overpowering. Did you notice J L-W look daggers at him from time to time?!

  • I "think" that he was doing that because the tempo didnt' match. I'm pretty sure the pianist didn't make any mistake. Webber was rushing in the very beginning and I listened over and over to make sure.

  • That was great but I think Webber was rushed by the piano player who apparently thought he was the soloist and not the accompanist

  • Does anyone know where i can find this amazing song??

I need it for my dance recital.

    Thanks!

  • "El amor Brujo",(Wizzard love),a Classical soanish Ballet of Manuel De Falla finishes with this dance...candela,a gypsy woman, dances it for to exorcize the soul of his dead fiancè...

    Ankhsnammon

  • brutal.

  • He's brutal.wild, savage,as fench public said when -Shakespeare's Theatre was presented for the first time in Paris...

    ankhsnammon

  • O.o wth? hes amazing!

  • i <3 julian webber

  • Outstanding!

  • WOW!

  • He doesnt play the cello.

He uses it, and plays with you

  • haha well put

  • wow...its really a difficult peice to play...um....i play cello and one first place in a talent contest playing this peice...shocked my teachers cause they thought i dont learn anything

  • *watches in amazement*

  • I love this Webber is so passionate and he plays so well

  • Bravo, Julian, BRAVO !!!

  • I don't think he rushed it at all.... he plays it quick..... like fire.

  • i am playing this in orchestra..

    not as fast.

i think he rushed a litle too much, otherwise one of the best cello players i have seen

  • awesome

  • out of all the cellos that i've seen playing fire bird on youtube so far you are difinetely the best one.. excellent playing... however, don't rush the 1st passage it feels like you are pushing the tempo just a bit on the 1st passage. But very nice job I liked it alot!

  • .....although, i quite agree with you on him rushing through the first passage.....that's one of my favorite parts of the song, and it's too rushed in this rendition.

  • Wow, he plays wonderfull!

  • not bad?!?! :))))

  • wow...this song is going to be my exam song in lcm~~

  • when i was a child i used to listen this song with my grandfather, he used to play this song to me i love this song, im seaching this for a long time thank you
