  • Comment removed

  • seafoam: a fog machine in a can!

  • and then the "california emission police" show up... lol

  • years of crap, your engine appreciates it

  • Al Gore will dance on your grave, lol.

  • you have a very clean jeep. I'm jelly

  • This is always the most fun part of seafoaming.

  • really clean jeep you got there

  • ATLANTIS AUTO SERVICE /

    HAYWARD JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 1997 01/08/2009 03:25 p.m. P NG412968C

Can you post your smog test results from your jan 8th 09 smog and the smog you get next?

  • how come mine didnt smoke? i poured it dove home from autozone like 2 blocks then ran it at high revs then drove it around the block a few times n nothing. so i let it sit for liek 10 min or less and tried again and nothing?

    ;((

  • @CODxFUNxMAN cause you're a fucking idiot.

  • @dXMETRIXb Umm how about fuck you asshole, that was my 1st time seafoaming. okay and i did it right after. SO why dont u just fuck off now. thanks -___-

  • @CODxFUNxMAN was your first time not reading instructions/directions on a product? Douchebag

  • @dXMETRIXb i did read them duhh. But i did the fuel system cleaning and i wasnt aware that there wount be a smoke show when you do it through the fuel system. -___ - unlike when i did it through a vaccum line.

  • @CODxFUNxMAN die in a fire. a buick 3800 piece of shit fire.

  • @dXMETRIXb You have problems dude...seriously.

  • @CODxFUNxMAN yea, my car wont smoke =(

  • @dXMETRIXb What did u try so far?

  • Nice S70 in the background

  • Does it matter what kind of Gas you fill up the tank with? I have heard to fill it up with premium 91 is this true?

  • so i just have a few questions about this. what is seafoam? and what is it suppose to do?

  • @xatblasterx its Petroleum, it eats carbon. Carbon = bad.

  • @SICKSxNINE oh ok thank you for the info i appreciate it

  • What was the difference in your Jeeps overall engine performance and noise level?

Was there a significant difference? Why did you use seafoam?

  • Is this stuff safe for CC's?

  • did this to a friends car without him knowing...waited the 30 min and he cranked it. He panicked thinking he had a blowed head gasket lol XD

  • 1:04 Give it some gas? Looks a little low to be doing that. JK

  • why do you pour it into your vaccum lines if its to clean the injectors and everything

  • FUCK the EPA and the GOV, what the fuck are emissions and CATS and O2 sensors good for if we can just Sea Foam the shit they want to stop RIGHT back in their fucking FACE! Seriously. They make money by regulating your so called pollutants, other companies make money by ridding your car of just that. Wtf. This is all lame bullshit. The end result is the same. This video is basically a response to your early 80s Federal Government trying to make money

  • @Libsdontcareee

You're retarded. Catalytic converters do not "store" any pollutants, thus you cannot spit them out with sea foam. Sea foam rids the ENGINE of carbon and varnish from fuel and oil, which is unrelated to emissions.

  • not bad but if you want to see a good smoke show feel free to watch my video of 1987 ranger sea foam ..... it puts on a great smoke show!!!

  • they let you do this in california? lol i thought emission laws there were extremely strict?

  • Read a book. This shit doest hurt anything and is all petroleum. Why would they sell it if it hurt your vehicle?

  • i miss my jeep, i had the exact same one and i loved it, i got rear ended about 4 months ago by two 19 year olds putting on makeup (taking off at like 10 mph and got hit by them going 45 (thank god these things are built tough) it bent the whole back cab and you could stick your arm between the back of the door and the cab (i just got a ss trailblazer and was looking sea foam up because of all this e85 bs and i came across this lol ) i had 140k miles on it and still running strong.

  • death to all the mosquitoes lol

  • your taking away the carbon that creats comperstion

  • damn not sure if i can go under radar which means i'll have to do this at night

  • did it help at all?

    what does it do?

  • I also would not do this on motors with intake plenums that are lower that the intake ports because the chemical will pool up and once you hit the gas, it will get sucked in and potentially hydrolock the engine.

  • The smoke you have is actually mostly from the chemical burning off....the ones with a lot of carbon that is being removed have darker smoke. How do i know? I used to work at a Jiffy lube type place that did this same thing. Most people wasted their money because they didnt have much carbon in the intake system.

And I wouldn't add that in my oil. If you run synthetic or even change your oil regularly, you shouldn't have to since synthetic has more detergents in it that will clean the motor.

  • That can't be good... ruins your catalytic converters too...

  • Think that will pass emissions? LOL

  • @mikedjr that was funny

  • Your supposed to run it WOT back and forth down the street, neutral shift at stopsigns and redline it :)

This fixed my Honda. Plan on giving it 2 cans a month until I see satisfactory results.

  • is that smoke illegal in cali ? lol i had to seafoame my car in a private area

  • Did you notice any improvement in power and MPG after this? If so what?

  • well your actually suppose to rev it alittle bit

  • use it on the S70!! hah, I'm about to seafoam my S70

  • Damn, my car smoked instantly.

  • You don't seize the engine, you stall it!

If you seized it, it'd be big bills time, and a strip down.

  • your not stalling the engine... a stall is when your engine's rpm cannot sufficiently power the vehicles driveline... it's actually flooding the engine so the valvetrain and assembly cannot rotate any longer

  • And what happens when the rpm drops and the engine conks out? It has stalled.

By preventing the engine from rotating, the rpm's drop, ergo the engine stalls.

It hasn't seized, otherwise it wouldn't crank over.

Seizing is when the metal expands through lack of cooling/removal of friction, and the parts become effectively welded.

Not looking to start a pissing competition, just thought your terminology needed a bit of clarification.

  • no I agree with that... sorry for the confusion

  • Do u connect the brake booster line back before revving the engine up?

  • ya connect everything back up after you seize your engine

  • Al Gore is going to fine you. Because people like you are the cause of global warming uhhhh I mean cooling because of global warming....

Thanks for the vid, Sea-foam is some great stuff.

I have used it on my atv with great results.

  • Hahahaha crackup!

  • is this stuff safe for Catalytic converters?

  • has no effect on them... it's just gas emissions by the time it gets to the cats

  • u suppose to rev it till the it almost stops smoking then take it for a hard drive till the smoke complete stops

  • yes... that's exactly what I did

  • you are supposed to high idle it while you are pouring in the vaccum and when you start it up after the 15-30 minutes of waiting.

  • you want to pour it in while almost seizing the engine... then like what you said and what I did, wait for at least 15 minutes or even over night

  • w00t

  • Nice videos! I plain to do this tomorrow hopefully.
