  • i'm a munster fan always have and always will be forever, i love watching leinster, love them as a team but this is the difference between munster and leinster........this the difference

  • Comment removed

  • If you've stood in the rain on the Balla Terrace or peed at the back of the East stand at half time or sang until you were hoarse or cried when your captain lifted the cup or shook the hand of the opposing teams supporters on the way to The Office/Flannerys/Mickys/etc. It's not about trophies or glory or even money. It's about the club, the game, the pride and the parish. If you don't get that well you won't get it! You'll never understand!

  • I love Munster, but I'm glad to observe their demise. For far too long I have watched Ireland suffer because of this team. Even Peter Clohessy said "Im more emotional about Munster than Ireland". That kind of carry on is toxic for international rugby. The players need to be more attached to the green jersey than the red. Rob Kearney brought it up with the Munster lads and told them to cop on and rightly so. I have no doubt that Munster players give more in red than they do in green.

  • @chickenfillets74 wait a minute, so, you love Munster, but... you're glad to observe their demise...??? Munster rugby has alot to with loyalty, loyalty to your own club, to your team, to your province etc. Id say after the world cup when a few of the older lads pack it in, and some new talent fills the ranks you'll be out of Rob Kearneys jocks and back in Hassetts cross hoppin' right back on the Munster band wagon. Fair play to ya pal.

  • @stabcitySB

I don't know what Hassetts cross is but I respect your enthusiasm! Hopefully the Munster lads show just as much next week. Just remember, green is more important than red.

  • @chickenfillets74 you wont understand the will every one of use from munster has to play in thomand with a red jersey,i would die for munster, its our home, you cannot take that away from us

  • @murph277v

You put your country before your province. Do you think that Harinordoquy plays with more passion in his Biarritz jersey than his French one, no. Because you give more for your country.

Anyway, doesn't matter now. There will be hardly any Munster players playing for Ireland in the next 4-5 years. Probably only Keith Earls and maybe Ian Nagle.

  • @chickenfillets74 someone from lienster cannot understand, were like a family,i mean just look at the scences after the magners league, judging by your profile your used to starting arguements over youtube,so in no way can you comprehend the love we have for our team, thick or thin.... go bye now...RIP paul darbyshire

  • @murph277v

You are the perfect example of what I'm talking about. You have bought in to the hype that RTE have created. Trust me, when Munster fail to make it out of their pool next year, your "famliy" will seem a lot smaller. All you have to do is look at Munster's attendance's after the Quins game. If Munster aren't winning, they have no fan base. It isn't a family. It's a population that truly believes they're invincible, because the media told them so. And know they're learning the truth.

  • @chickenfillets74 rte have been putting munster down all year, they have created fuck all hype, the quins ame, well i was there and in limerick alone (munsters main fan base) there were 11 communions that day and also take into account the eurovision,i dont remember anyone creating hype in the early 200s about munster when we tookon europe, and from what i remember, the crowd at the lienster game wasnt exactly packed either.. jealousy is a weak emotion my friend

  • @murph277v

What a pathetic excuse. Communions?! Eh no, try band-wagon fans slowly dying out. The Media has made Munster what it is. They built Munster up to fuck, because Munster have been the under-dogs, and everyone loves the underdogs. If you think RTE have been harsh on Munster, you're fucking clueless. And all you Munster fans eat it up. I bet you genuinely think that Munster is known around the globe. Hardly anybody in SA, NZ, or Aus has a clue about this club.

  • @chickenfillets74 ya because id say any new zealand fans or australian fans havnt heard about us ??are you retarded? i wont even go through our history with 2 of the big 3 in the southern hemisphere, and what makes you think they have heard of lienster ?cuz they won two hieniken cups?o yah we did too,how is yer record against australia and new zealand? ya cuz the RDS is a world known cauldren of a stadium ( in the rugby sense)

  • @murph277v

    1. Seriously, it may shock you, but people from Auckland, Waikato, Brisbane etc, genuinely haven't heard of Munster. Most S14 fans refuse to watch NH club rugby, and they no little or nothing about it.

    2. I never said they would know about Leinster. My whole point was that Munster fans believe their own hype so much that they actually think they are know around the globe. (you're are a perfect example of that). The only place that Munster,(and Leinster) are famous is NH.

  • @murph277v

    3. You ignored my post about predicting the irish team, why? you scurred?

    4. I'm ripping the piss. Half of my family support Munster. My sister was born there and I've basically lived half my life in Kerry. As long as they're not playing Leinster, I support Munster 100%. But it's important that the fans such as yourself, should realize that the hype is just that.HYPE. I hope you continue to support Munster through the coming difficult times. And I really wish you would address 3.

  • @murph277v

    Also, I challenge you to predict what the Irish team will look like in 4 years. Mine is- 1.Healy 2.Strauss 3. Hagan 4. Nagle 5.McLaughlin 6. Ruddock 7. O'Brien 8. Healsip (c) 9. McGrath 10. Sexton 11. Earls 12. McSharry 13. Spence 14. Conway 15. Kearney.

That's 2 Munster men......and 11 Leinster men. Yeh....I'm jealous. Munster are in for one big dry spell that will test the resilience of their ever loyal fans. Let's see how they do. Time for RTE to big-up the men in blue!

  • @chickenfillets74 well the fact your leaving out simon zebo who just signed a full time contract, conor murray could yet be scrum half for the wc,and lienster people have said that to me,sean cronin ,? mike ross,? james coughlan is becoming a force ,mike sherry! felix jones??your view is very very biased,im not saying that the players i mentioned will start, but will be there..and how can i forget danny barnes? dubbed the new bod

  • @murph277v

I'll try and be as un-biased as possible. Zebo looks promising, but he's facing Ulster's top try scorer Gilroy, Keith Earls, JWC top try scorer Andrew Conway, and luke fitzgerald. I don't think he's shown more potential than any of them. Murray will indeed be an Irish no.9, but I said McGrath, because I honestly think McGrath will be Ireland's no.1 scrum-half in the coming years. Cronin doesn't have what it takes. Ross is 32. Coughlan is 29. Sherry has been impressive but come on....

  • @chickenfillets74 to be fair zebo hasnt benn given the amount of chances gilroy or conway has gotten, lukey as it is ,is a very hot and cold player and said himself prefers fb to the wing, what has mcgrath shown compared to murray, murray is the perfect 9 irleand has been lokking for ,he can past like stringer and attack and defend like leary, loove how you can shut down cronin so early in his caareer when he has more than proven himself ,as for danny barnes,i said he has been dubbed, not my words,

  • @chickenfillets74

Strauss has been immense. I don't think you can deny that. I will concede that Jones could well be the no.1 full-back, but without being cheap, he's a product of the Leinster academy. And as for Danny Barnes. Did I not just say, don't buy into the hype?! He's had two good games. Look at Spence. Spence is younger and has impressed at HC level. But Barnes looks promising, but we have seen way too little of him to judge. My point is, Munster are thin on serious young talent.

  • @chickenfillets74 well im judging barnes on two games yes,one of them he controlled the greatess centre in the world, and even though it might not look it,barnes is a far more phyiscal player than spence, although yes spence has him in the attack, well this season will tell for us,something like 15 new acadmy players have been brought in for pre season training and bj botha and ian keatly will seriously strengthen up our team..i mean,4 years ago, would you think liester would be where there are now?

  • @murph277v

Ughh forget it. I want what's good for the country, you want what's good for Munster. In four years time. Zebo will have gotten as far a Denis Hurley, McGrath will be one of the worlds greatest scrum-halves, Cronin will be nothing more than a province player, and you won't remember this and therefore won't learn from your mistakes.

And as for your question on Leinster, yes. Because of Leinster's school and academy set-up. it's the best in Europe.

  • @chickenfillets74 I think a lot of what your saying is true which is painful to say as a Munster man, but no way have the RTE hyped up Munster over the last few years if anything they have been very biased towards Leinster. One of the main reasons Munster have been falling recently is because they had been not bringing up young players like Leinster had been doing and now the Munster team is very old. A lot of this is because of Kidney i think because he seems to have an anti-youth policy which

  • @chickenfillets74 Zebo wold have got as far as Denis Hurley....hahaha

  • @murph277v

I think it's a bit sad that Munster would let a drug-dealer play on their team. Simon 'heroine' Zebo.

  • @chickenfillets74 i had a long good laugh looking at your comments on seeing how wrong you were

  • @murph277v

I wasn't wrong dipshit. Everything I write is true and serious. If you don't believe me look up Rog's face after Sexton kick video and look at my comments there. I speak nothing but honest and sensible shit man. If you can't handle intelligent talk then you should just continue to fuck you cousins one run Tipperary or wherever the fuck you come from. MUNSTER SUCK!!!

  • @chickenfillets74 honest and sensible?how far up your own hole are you?first you said rog had a drug problem and then you said zebo was a drug dealer?i suppose keith earls is the anti christ and paul o connell was the man behind 9/11..all you do is go on the internet and pick fights,a troll as they would say...get a life seriously man

  • @murph277v

WOW...took you this long to figure that out huh bud. of course I'm trolling you you sponge. I think you need to contemplate how sad your life must be seeing as you continued to argue with someone who was ripping the piss. Later 'murph'. Murph the turf should have topped himself at birth.

  • @chickenfillets74 get a life lad really..anyway i ll talk 2u glucccckkkkk

  • @chickenfillets74 Predicting a team 4 yrs away is nothing more than name checking prospects & young current incumbents. No 2 - Sherry is a realistic alternative as is Cronin, No 5 - is far more likely to be Dave Foley than McLaughlin (ignoring D Ryan is ahead of both), No 6/7/8 - assumes Ferris disappears which is not a given, also loads of possibles, Paddy Butler, Peter O'Mahony, DOC2, T O'Donnell, etc from Munster alone, No 9 - Murray, No 10 - Keatley, etc

  • @chickenfillets74 can be seem in his refusal to bring players like McFadden up to the Irish team while keeping terrible players like Paddy Wallace on it. As well another reason the academy is more successful in Leinster is partially due to the population Leinster simply has a much larger population than any other province by a considerable margin. I do think you are being slightly harsh with your predictions however since the focus has been put back on the academy in Munster a lot of great

  • players have already been produced (Nagle,Murray,Earls,Zebo,Barnes...). I don't understand the hype about Roddock I have seem him play several times and wont put him in the same class as players like D. Wallace, Elsom etc. And finally while Munster players DID have more passion while playing for Munster years ago I believe that the players have equal passion for both teams now. ok rant over lol

  • Bullshit overload!

  • u cant touch munster on there day

  • What's the name of the song at the start?

  • @Binball The song is Fljótavík by Sigur Rós. I just spent ages looking for it! I love this band, but I'd never heard this song before.

  • No, that's just the parochial, illiterate bogtrotters like you who have massive chips on their shoulders. Hate away, it's due to your own inadequacies, you filthy root-vegetable molestor. Manning up over the internet- de proidje and de pisshion, you sad twat. European CHAMPIONS and two in a row- plus that hiding to NOTHING. Suck it up and suffer!!!

  • Comment removed

  • No, you illiterate tuber hoarder, it's the Clam, you moron, not the clan. You know nothing about anything. Please shut up and fuck off and die.

    Also, Leinster Rugby founded 1875.

Munster Rugby founded 1879. So that's one more match you just lost, new kids on the block. Haaaa!!

Don't you ever get tired of the endless humiliation???

  • Fantastic video.

  • @ ThomondScum

Stop spreading bullshit across the web. TP is made that small on purpose. There are Stadiums that can hold up to 60.000 People and more

They could have build that here as well. And they would have filled it! But no, they were going for a more personal size. With more atmosphere, more fascination .... a real champions Arena!

The Mouth to Hell is our Home and we love it! So shut up.

  • @Rodnox oh shut up ya sad cunt!! come on munster! at least we have passion and pride! tp a top ground!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • There is a reason that 4 at least the 5 to 6 years that at least 8 or 9 of the irish startin lineup have consisted of munster players. My mum is from cork and my dad is from tipp, but i have lived in limerick for the past 5 years and the rep it has isn't fair, it is the most supportin city i hav ever seen, good or bad the fans never turn their back on their team, how many Leinster supporters can say they have never turned their back on their team?????

  • Excellent Vid.

  • nice to see we're still having the same old bring argument. as for myself, this is one hell of a great rugby video.

  • Enough of the pettiness. I'm both a Munster fan and an Irish national team fan. It's all about rugby - not territory.

  • so your trying to tell me that Ireland would stand a chance if all the munster players left? ya right

  • @sodification Everyones replacable. Thinking that your not is just a big mistake. Any player on the Irish team could be replaced by someone else, regardless of province or club.

  • @sodification Ireland would never lose if they wore Munster jerseys ;)

  • I think graham204 comments speak volumes of type of fool he is, maybe i was a bit hasty with D4 comment, he would have at least had an education if he was from that area.

  • Ya and they showed clips from Dublin in the show and that it is a fact , That kip station still running? Again ill repeart my self i can walk down the main streets in lImerick at anytime night or day without looking over my shoulder.

  • you dont have to look over your shoulder. ye right. its stab city

  • you are confusing d4 with south dublin

  • Talking about the fan base here, doesnt encompasses the whole of leinster.

ROG personal life is his personal life and that page 3 sun shit to boot.

The core of the Munster team is Irish , how many Munster lions?? enough said.

JP is a limerick man and we stick for each other and was never for anything, he gave no favours asked. Called community.

Munster Rugby started in Limerick but Cork came onlong as they felt part of something , unlike leinster with da Lunster fans.

  • There are alot more Caravans in dublin that ever was in Limerick.

That city smells, least we have 1 thing here and its called fresh air.

I can walk down main street in LImerick at 2 am without looking over my shoulder, can you do that in Dublin no???.

Some herion junky will prob mug ya with a aids riden needle. Or how about human waste all over templebar and the homeless there, i can keep going if you like.

Dublin is a run down mess with no culture or community.

  • Seriously that match doesnt even register, not like ye are serious rivials or anything.

What does register though is the fact after a home loss ye wont make the 1/4 finals, which means last year was a fluke.

Also fat ??? i run over 4 miles twice a day, when im not play soccer hurling or rugby.

Now graham does not sound like a Irish name , in fact its scot prod.

Leinster shadow??? now your really talking shit, i just cant wait for the next childish reply, be funny if it wasnt so sad.

  • Your stupid replys and comments show that you know fuck all other than the fact your a racist. Sorry your facts are way off in relation the OUR stadium and least we have one rather the use of IRFU stad. Of course u know the diff between IRB and IRFU suppose its the same diff between between north and south hampton. D4 team is full of non Irish so your pissing against the wind on that one.

I come from a place alot more cultured that you, and proved that by your chilish comments.

  • Ps re

    graham204

If your not from Dublin then where your from?? and your calling me a culchie, most people from that side of the country are only West Brits, wannabe Irish men.

I have to say i find your post very humerous and the fact your watching and commenting on Munster videos the whole thing shows a scared little man ranting about lets be honest nothing but pure shit.

little net faggots ??? funny i was thinking same of you as i can asure you of one thing im not little

  • Donncha ??? oh the talented LIONS player, i know him alright so does rest of the world rugby.

Again , your knowledge just blows me over. It doesnt matter who is top as top 4 go into a play off.

South Hampton which clearly said never won a thing in rugby N.H did though, clearly havent a clue what your ranting about, and im laughing at you.

  • If you knew a thing about rugby , you would realise that we got a bouns pint for that game and ye got SFA, slope?? difference is Munster wont lose a HC game at home, one home defeat and it can be curtains.

Also South Hampton??? lol its Northhampton and they have alot more trophies than LI and D4 combined,.

Who are they?? they are only former European Champions but then a genuine fan would know that.

  • y are leinster fans writing rubbish below i dont know y they are even looking at this clip. jealousy maybe

  • everyone knows munster is WAY better then leinster. if u go to a match in thomond park you would know that. if limerick was the capital of ireland, munster would be a country of its own.

  • what happen in H cup ????? eh eh eh. Got all excited about a match that no one in Munster gave a damm about, a poor LIrish team beat ye at HOME!!!.

Last year in the semis i was never so bored in my life, all the Leinster comments about borning Munster etc. 1/4 final, semi an final where some of worst games i have ever seen.

Ye like ulster won in a very very poor year, teams where not up to scratch, simple as.

  • MUNSTER FOR LIFE

    IRISH AND PROUD

  • you wait till next season....

  • na it's in Co.Clare

  • I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT I AM FROM MUNSTER!

+ iceblue1000 limerick isnt half as bad as it seems now im not saying it the best city in the world but they call it stab city which is very unrealistic I SHOULD KNOW ... I LIVE THERE

  • thanks man

  • from 2 minutes to 2:25 whats the song?

  • any of ye got the munster dvd from when they wone it 1st wats tah song when they win

  • hoppipollo by sigor ros (off the album takk). the first minute or so of this clip is also sigor ros.

  • haha

  • MUNSTER, GLORY GLORY MUNSTER.

  • who ever filmed and edited this video is a legend i'm taking media studies at my college and this video is edited so fine to the touch also i am a munster supporter

  • That game was, as tough guys say in Massachusetts, THE BALLS.

  • ha ha yea right mate leinster played well but munster ar still ranked 1 in europe every team in the world will struggle to beat us at home thomond park home of irish rugby!!!

  • The Home of Irish Rugby is and always will be the Aviva Stadium errr I mean Lansdowne Road.

  • munster bottlers

  • Judging by your profile name i presume your a kiwi? The land of the famous world cup bottlers. 1991,1995,1999,2003,2007; BOTTLED IT!!!!!

Congrats Leinster. Dont choke in Murrayfield.

  • Even the all blacks second team couldnt beat leinster tonite.Well plyed leinster the real home of irish rugby

  • LEINSTER!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hard luck today munster. but you gotta admitt the better team won. i admitt that you have been the best side in europe this year. but complacincy gets you nowhere in sport. we got complacent in 2006 and we got hammered. now the sames happened to you. but hard luck anyway.

  • thanks mate good luck in the final

  • leinster!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Well, my American ass will be at the Old Castle Pub watching you Erse smash each other. Dunno who to root for. I like O'Gara and O'Driscoll.

    What to do?

  • 6:35 marcus horan wearing 22/!?!?!

  • clearly

  • weird, just shows the standard of our props. every other player is mint

  • yea dats wen the claw was around wat a player

  • i remember watching this in tears

  • Are you ok now??? ye should come to Leinster... you'd be laughing instead! Cheer up. Did you actually play for Munster? Is that why you got so upset!

  • no.. im a die hard loike... leinster are no good , and yere about to find that out in 3 days time :L

  • do you like hip hop or jazz ballet dance???

  • munster v leinster at croke park is going to be epic . I wish it was at Thomond though . Its also going to be 70% munster fans like last time........... RED ARMY

  • it was meant to be a munster home game but noww we are playing in croker and in athe 'away' dressing room. tomas o leary injured. stringer is just going to box kick for 80 minutes. he is a gud impact player but is shit overall. we will win,but ina horrible clasterphopic(excuse spelling) battle. stringer wont pass, shit clearance kick. GET WELL SOON TOMAS PLEASE!

  • easy tiger stringer will save the day wait

  • love munster hope ur right.

  • i wish we had fans like this in dublin.

  • brillant

  • I was thinking that Ireland/Wales (this ain't TOO profound) will be the game to watch this year.

Am I deluded or is the 15 man game and all it provides people one of the greatest things on the planet earth?

    Rugby forever.

  • WEll done, Ireland, on Saturday. It was close for a while. Alas, I think Seba Chabal is getting old. O'Driscoll's first try was tres cool.

Gonna be a cool Six Nations.

  • were the best lads.

  • Wonderful video, makes me proud to be a Clare man, Thomond Park is the best stadium in the Banner County!

  • pappy25 just to let you know its in limerick not clare thats why we built the walls to keep clare people out not the english

  • haha, nice one Mike. Well the walls were built on the South side of the city. The original natural border was the great River Shannon so I figure anything to the North was in Clare. I remember having a chuckle at The Limerick Inn Hotel (now the radisson) actually being in Clare! We are a generous sort though letting Limerick extend it's City limits and borders.

  • thats why we built part of moyross in clare pappy lol

  • Ya dats only cos we are keepin it real Boi! haha i was only messin but some cracker idiot didn't get it. Mike, go onto my page and see what a guy called limerickandproud wrote. he doesn't even know me!

  • you get all types pappy some have no sence of humour

  • no, Mike. i have no sense of humour... i have cousins from Moyross.. there were four medals awarded from the Guards this year and one went to a girl from Moyross. Keith Earls, a personal friend of mine, an irish international is from Moyross... i won't tolerate people who don't know about Limerick...... Pappy25, i commemted directly to you, if you have a problem wit me, comment back!!!!!!

  • read your messages then!

  • as far as i can see all moyross people are personal friends of keith earls and if you are so what. medals awarded to 4 people well done them but i have no idea what that has to do with rugby. Before you ask yes i am a limerick man always have been and proud of it but i also have a sence of humour

  • well. i'm not from Moyross mike.. but i grew up with Keith when his father was playing for the Cookies... i went to training sessions on tues and thurs because Keith's Dad was my hero as a young fella. we (me and keith) used to get tackling bags and rugby balls and gowl around all the time out in derryknockane... i wont have people like you (with senses of humour) blacken their name because that is exactly what your doing!

  • look limk and proud I have no idea what planet your from no one mentioned keith earls except you, blacken their name what the hell are you on about or maybe just on. Yippie you gowled around with keith who bloody cares he still pisses standing up like the rest of us. Word of advice get a life mate

  • is your man still bangin on about Keith Earls and Moyross? he is a bit obsessed& consumed by the mercurial superstar to be. it's people like that that make it hard4a young talent2remain grounded and keep a level head.

Do you remember Frank McCourt on the Late Late Show yrs back and some idiot hurling abuse at him from the audience?

Sound familiar?anyone with an opinion of Limerick that isn't positively glowing is a fascist or they are just Limerick bashing. Limerickisn'tproudofLimerickandproud

  • Pappy.. the man you are talking about is Gerry Hannon. an insufferable bore... but who talked a lot of sense.. one of my great friends died 2 years ago who lived on barrack hill and swore that the McCourt book was lies. as well, my grandmother was from Brown's Lane... one of the poorest areas of Edward Street and she swears he was tellin the truth... i dont have the answers but i know a lot more than people who have never even heard of the places that i have mentioned!!

  • I think you should get a job working for Limerick Tourism. You know a lot of cities have ghost tours, you could bring tourists around 'unknown' parts of Limerick such as vaults under the castle and various churches and use your knowledge gained from the elderly characters throughout the city and make a few euro for yourself. Now there's a business idea, you can keep that, it's free.

  • listen, i think its sad that you would launch a personal attack on me for defending a neighbourhood that you took a cheap shot at... i genuinely thought that some of the good people of the area should be pointed out to people who slag them for no reason... thats all... i dont know you or your pal... but i simply thought that somebody should say something positive for those people while everyone else is slagging them off...
