Everyone says picking Darko ruined Detroit. I say being picked by Detroit ruined Darko. How are you supposed to develop as a player mentally and physically when you're only given 5 minutes a game? Darko's numbers go up the more minutes you give him. If he averaged 30 or more minutes he's easily a double-double player.

Darko sucks so bad, Joe should have drafted Melo. Detroit would still be a good team. This guy had good years in orlando, but has sucked in memphis. One of the worst draft choices ever

i am going to make a bold statement. Detroit Piston is a team that is not kind to young prospect from other countries. I thought Darko was a pretty good selection for the piston. He can pass, he can shoot, he can rebound, he can block shots, he can handle the ball, a pretty intriguing centre to build on. Him and Mehmet Okur started out as pistons, Okur became successful in Utah, will Darko make a difference in Memphis?
