  • Notice. No Smoke.

  • nice car we got one we are restoring the only difference is ours is red/black/white

  • @mecurycapri If like out here you will probably be the only one at the shows. Good luck and have fun with your project

  • @georgeporty if you know where carlile is or what it is we only saw 2 this year out of thousands of cars. they are very rare around here. i think they are like that everywhere though

  • Are they before or after the axle? Love that sound

  • The glasspacks are right under the cab with long tailpipes to the rear. When I got it the tailpipes were only about a foot long and it was much louder. The long pipes mellowed the sound.

  • I only wish they would still make cars like this.

  • got the cherry bomb extreme on my 06 mustang gt,they sound old school muscle car,I lovem.

  • I would like to put a set on my wifes 2000 5.0L Explorer but she doesn't want anything to do with it. Bet it would sound sweet.

  • ill trade you

  • LOVE THE IMPORT TIPS ON THE OLD SKOOL RIDE!!! Sounds great to

  • what size are your glasspacks?

  • Approximately 24" long

  • love that sound!

    what brand are you glasspacks?

  • They are Cherry Bombs. They were in the car when I bought it in 93. Not sure they are still made.

  • they still mke cherrybombs

  • someone bought the cherry bomb company and now they are being produced better than ever

  • @georgeporty yes they are my friend. i have the 62' with the 170c.i. straight 6. i found "cherry bomb" glass packs online ranging from 19.99 to 49.99.

  • @oldskoolsickboy4life i want cherry bomb glass packs for my 61 t-bird. any idea on what size to buy and will i have to buy exhaust pipes? was the install relatively easy?

  • your retarded

  • wtf dude

  • Try retarding the timing a little and it will start quicker........

  • sounds great, but the exhaust tips just dont suit at all with the ranchero, that looks to be perfect btw

  • you know i dont like glasspacks but on this it actually sound great.

  • where did you get those exhaust tips ?

  • I bought them on eBay. They split from a single to dual pipe. Several designs are available. Measure your exhaust pipe.

  • Sweet ol'Ford!

  • im bout to get a glass pack on my 60 falcon

  • i love that sound man

    what kind of glass packs?

  • They are cherry bomb glasspacks. They have been on there about 20 years, so not sure they are still in business. Bought them in Kansas, also has some on a 69 Torino, 351, that sounded pretty badass. That was in Oklahoma. Thank you for the comment.

  • Your car kicks ass, dude.

  • Just measure inlet and outlet diameters and existing muffler lengh. Go on line to Flo-Pro Proformance Exhaust for some part numbers.

  • Sounds Badass!..There is NO V8 that sounds like a Y-block V8! I'm trying to get my landlord to put a Y-block into his hot rod...He has a small chevy in it now.:(I told him to take that thing out and put it in a farm truck...Y-Blocks are god!

  • sweet

  • u got one of them ricer tail pipes on there?

  • no a ricer tail pipe is when u can see the mufflers...thoes are just like 3 inch exhausts

  • True. This ranchero would look super-badass with another set of those tips on the other side!!

I get where natedogg is coming from though...you see those tips sticking way out on some gay looking accord or civic.

  • The then new 1957 FORD Ranchero was introduced & unveiled by FOMOCO November 12th, 1956. The very first car was presented at Quitman Georgia, at a celebration honoring a 21 year Wesley Patrick, chosen in 56 as the farmer of the year in America. Young Patrick was given car No 1. That was the start of the Ranchero legend. Great posting more pleaseeee. Love that sound mind blowing. FORDROAD Australia.

  • How would you know if they suck? All you do is play rune scape and drive your camry ricer.

  • Lord have mercy, the sound of a FORD V8 Y Block from start to finish, just sweet music. Please post more videos with the 57 in full sight. WELL DONE

  • You can go to jaylenosgarage web site and to the "your garage" section and enter ranchero. Several will come up but you can tell mine by the blue/white color. Thanks for the comment.

  • damn right!!

  • Sounds awesome. I'm building a Y-block myself, and I'm just wondering ... did you use the short glasspacks or the long ones?

  • The glass packs are cherry bombs, about 24" long. I put dual tips on each tailpipe at the bumper.

  • Love that y block note. Check out mine

    "292 open headers"

  • Very cool, sounds a lot like my '57 Fairlane 500 with

292 that I just had new Thrush glasspacks put on.

    Sweeeeet!

  • Nice.

I just got a '58 Edsel (E-400 engine), and I'm going to have them put dual glasspacks on it too.

  • I did have shorty tailpipes but it was too loud, so I ran tail pipes to the rear & added dual exhaust tips on each side.

  • From the unique sound of the starter to the equally unique exhaust note, you just can't beat a Y-Block Ford!!! Pure V-8 nirvana...

  • beautifull

  • i need some new underwear because i just crapped myself this is soooo00 nice you r 1 lucky guy

  • Sorry I'm running up your underwear bill.
