@gobabygo67 - I wouldn't recommend them on a new edge if you have a lot of miles to drive. But I did it anyway! :) I am running 4.30's on my 2008 GT as well.
Yeah the 2v stangs sound better IMHO. Even when I put the Corsa's on my 08GT it sounded great WO but not all the time like the 04. Still, mod for mod the 08 performs so much better than the 2v. But I still want another 04, a cobra specifically, maybe when this one is paid off... We'll see.
Yeah, I know the 3v 4.6 is a better preforming motor, but I still prefer the 2v. Either way, the modular motor is hard to make a lot of power with, which is why I decided to build up a 5 liter modular engine block, although it will be a little while before I have the money to do that.
actually now I remember that there was an o/r H and then there was the prochamber. If I remember correctly the prochamber was a cross between an H and an X.
I did when I had the 04. The price vs. performance for headers doesn't make much sense unless you are running some form of forced induction. My 08 GT is running stock headers as well. They flow just fine.
I went with 70mm because I was N/A. If you have a supercharger or Nitrous, then maybe a 75mm would be a good choice. I would check with a local shop. You are in Miami? Saw the 305 in there.
On the 04 4.10's were awesome. On the 08 they are even better N/A. Most of the guys are putting down mid-hi 12's on slicks with your basic bolt on's and the 4.10's. I think they would be a bit much if anyone is going with a roots/twin-screw charger. 3.73's would be a better match at that point.
Thanks cobra, I traded it in for an 08 GT 5sp 2 weeks ago. I put a Steeda AxleBack, Steeda CAI with 90mm MAF, Steeda Tune, 4.10's, Charge Motion Delete plates, and a hurst shifter in the new one.
gotta love mac exhaust .. combined with UPR it is so fuckin dirty

can you make a longer video, like in-car, drive-by, wot, stuff like that? love the sound by the way.
OffTheWall158 1 year ago
Sorry man, I don't have the car anymore. WOT sounded sick in it though. I wish I could get that sound on my 08GT.
narshadda 1 year ago
I guess you traded it for you 08 GT? Ive heard that the three valve mustangs dont sound near as good as the two valve. (at least with an o/r pipe)

i mean O/R H PIPE OR PROCHAMBER?
OnaBoat2007 2 years ago
Go with the prochamber.. You get the flow of the X with the old school sound of the H pipe. If its a new edge definitely go o/R Prochamber.
narshadda 2 years ago
which would you prefer O/R X PIPE OR PROCHAMBER?
OnaBoat2007 2 years ago
1 of the best sounding GTs. Mac makes good products

vedal90 2 years ago
That was the intake Plenum. I was freaking out when I had put that on.
narshadda 2 years ago
The prochamber is a cross between an h and x pipe.
RIOTDAN 3 years ago
Thanks for clearing that up - it has been a while for me with the new edge stangs and the parts they use.
narshadda 3 years ago

nmfstang 3 years ago
Think it was the 3"
narshadda 3 years ago
and it bolted up fine to the stock headers?
nmfstang 3 years ago
Not sure man, I didn't do the install personally. Plus it was a while ago. It might have been the 2.5. I am not 100%
narshadda 3 years ago
no problem..but whatever it was, its my favorite setup..sounds nasty

hey anyone kno how much putting on springs would be to get done?
Evoteam8 4 years ago
Depends on the year mustang... Some are easier than others. I paid $50 a corner on my 08GT and the 04 GT in the vid cost $240.

whats better a 70mm Throttle Body or a 75mm Throttle Body??

yeah you don't want to go to big...you might even want to consider a 65mm with minor bolt ons...bigger isn't always better!
Johnny5liter 4 years ago
How did you like the 4.10's? Some people say its to much gear for the manual trans.
