Lol they should so have quit after 98 world reunion tour. They are getting tierd.. Half of the band missing and they have to keep feeding the moneymachine ;)
I couldn't agree with you more. I was a BIG fan of kiss back then, but now I hardly listen to them. Well, not the new stuff anyways. This song is a personal favorite :) They have burned themselves out bad. And I admit the new little toys and stuff of them that are coming out are cute, it's too much!
KISS is like hamburgers and fries...people will always listen to them,no matter how popular they are at the time, plus, KISS won't give you high cholesterol, gotta go,my hearing aid needs recharging...
well...other countries r starved for rock n roll so playing to 200,000 in S.America or whereever isn't that big of an achievement, almost anyone who goes there can do that. The real reason I asked is because I saw a few BILLBOARDS lately and looked at the boxscore chart and only saw 1 KISS show listed and I looked at several issues so I thought maybe the tour was in trouble.
Easy to sell out stadiums after 36 years?? Not many people do that, No though if you just looked latley the U.S. tour is over... They even had to add shows for the tour, so no trouble... The U.S. tour brought in over 50 million dollars
In developing countries, sure, it is easy to sell out a stadium in Argentina or Chile or Brazil or some place that doesn't get a lot of shows and has a growing economy that is transitioning from 3rd world to 2nd world to 1st world country. I'd be willing to say you could send almost anyone from that "era" down there and pack a stadium, whether it's KISS or ZZ Top or Aerosmith or Rush or Iron Maiden. The tour did good though, that's cool.
FINALLY. Someone playing the riff PROPERLY. With the muted "chukka" in there

I listen to everything from dean martin to metallica to white rabbits and the heavy. Still, kiss takes the cake. Gene, Paul and Eric, love it all.

so does anyone know if their recent tour did well ? the economy sucks and KISS isn't exactly a radio band so did the shows sell well or not?

very close to selling out every night!! All of them sold really well. Before playing the US they played shows to stadiums of about 200,000 people
