  • this is 0bamacare in action. the 5 dislikes come from 0bama and his 0bamabots realizing he is a failure but really more upset that the video didn't contain 0bama having gay sex with arab children or sucking muslim cocks *lulz*

  • Dave was sooo hot, especially when he dressed up as the imcompetent dr.

  • ha wow forgot about this show, nice thx

  • Yaaaa that's my favourite monologue by David Foley. Love 'im :)

  • U can tell he's trying not to laugh :)

  • 'Randomness, but the lady calling the doctor on the intercom in the beginning is from "Operation Mindcrime."

  • "the sick person"

  • 5 people are bad doctors...

  • I did this in a performance @ camp, and the guy who did this was way better at this sketch than this guy. :P funny huh?

  • I think Dave Foley is ever so dreamy.

  • @jtklove Have you seen him lately? He looks like an old lesbian now.

  • @Guitcad1... I forgive him! We all gotta get old!

  • No doctor has ever "healed" anybody. They can only assist the human bodys' healing mechanism.

  • @pretorious700 Buddhist. Shocking.

  • OH NOES!!!! OBAMACARE!!!!!!

  • TL;DR

  • I love i how comments on a video can go from lol, to a depate about medical funding

  • seriously i mean this was meant for comedy folks theres no deep meaning behind it .......just saying =) =)

  • I went to the Dr complaining of vomitting that had lasted 14 days. I lost 24 pounds!

After doing a couple of tests, the Dr decided I was just hysterical, and there was nothing wrong with me. He referred me to a psychiatrist, and my insurance would only pay for Cognitive behavioral therapy.

I had nausea, migraines, fevers, pain in my left hand and foot, tinnitus in my ear...

After two years of rotting in a dark room, a real doctor diagnosed me with a parasitic gut infection and a antibiotic.

  • @judderwocky after treatment, it still took almost half a year to heal from alll the damage the untreated infections had caused. If i hadn't been so sick (and fogged out) i probably would have pushed harder for a real diagnosis.

NEVER TRUST A DR WITH A DEGREE FROM THE ANTILLES.

  • If this is your doctor, RUN!!!

  • @HoserSaysWhat ... i couldn't . he still got me :(

  • Superb.

  • Yep thats the type of doctor that you get from a Canadian healthcare system. lol

  • @kyler187 no. This is the healthcare you get in Central Florida. Thanks for playing.

  • @judderwocky Florida is where the Canadian Prime Minister had his heart surgery, because the procedure was better than what he could get under the Canadian Healthcare system. Thanks for playing.

  • @kyler187 I'm so glad he came to my country, where I couldn't afford services, to take his share of the US governments funded medicine. (and yes, it is government funded. I have families that work in healthcare, and most funding whether from university or private hospitals comes from the gov). Great. You just made my point.

  • @judderwocky Thats not true. Most funding for medicine and medical advancement comes from the free market. Just because you have people who work in the healthcare system, doesn't mean that your take on it is the end all be all to this discussion.

  • @kyler187 You are an idiot. Have you ever worked in a biomedical research laboratory? Most of it is government funding. If if it wasn't a majority, a signfigant portion of it is still government funded and as a result my argument still holds. Medicare? Medicaid? Social Security? NIH? NCI?

Ask any research University where they get their money.

I've worked in the labs. Yeah, they get small

  • @judderwocky You know I have yet to insult you. How about we keep this civil, or are you unable to do that with people you disagree with? And most life saving drugs and medical advances comes from the private sector they aren't coming from Universities that have no incentive to make a profit. And those programs you mentioned are for a portion of the population. If they were expanded to the entire populaton, it would collapse the sytem.

  • @kyler187 Sorry. Thought we were just "playing" . BTW. You mentioned heart surgery specifically. So how exactly is that researched by the drug companies?

Drug companies generally rely heavily on the advances made by research teams heavily funded by the government. I worked in a Parkinson's research laboratory. Sure. They got some money from the drug companies. Guess who paid for the building, the equipment, and the rent. The biggest chunks of money come from the fed.

  • @judderwocky Its ok, I know debates on youtube can get heated and most people on here would rather resort to name calling instead of having a civil discussion.

I mentioned break throughs in medicine and medical advances. The reason the prime minister went to Florida for heart surgery was because they had the ability to conduct heart surgery with a simple procedure under the arm, without having to open up his chest. If he had surgery in Canada he would have had to have his chest open up.

  • @judderwocky Those subsidies you mentioned don't make up the majority of funding in medical advancement. I am aware that research in Parkinsons receives alot of subsidies, but that doesn't mean that its true for most medical advancement. Most breakthroughs in the medical feel comes from the freemarket, which is why the united states has the vast majority of medical advancement. The rest of world's research is overwelmingly government funded, but does not have nearly the breakthroughs as the US.

  • @kyler187 You are an idiot. Have you ever worked in a biomedical research laboratory? Most of it is government funding. If if it wasn't a majority, a significant portion of it is still government funded and as a result my argument still holds. Medicare? Medicaid? Social Security? NIH? NCI?

Ask any research University where they get their money.

I've worked in the labs. Yeah, they get small

  • Isn´t he just adorable?

Always liked Dave the best, lol!

  • what episode is this from?

  • It's funny because he died.

  • Canadians are some of the funniest people on the planet! Mike Myers, Dan Aykroyd, John Candy, Jim Carrey, Martin Short, ALL the Kids in the Hall, Trailer Park Boys, Phil Hartman, Catherine O'Hara, Seth Rogen, 'Friends" star Matthew Perry, SNL producer Lorne Michaels, Eugene Levy, Michael J. Fox, Letterman's Paul Shaffer...not to mention all the great stand ups to come out of Canada - who are FAR too numerous to mention! The guys who created South Park know this. They love us! WE ARE FUNNY!

  • @SiDancat1981 Totally, eh?

  • wkuk and kith are awesome...

  • Dave can play doctor with me any day he wants. O.o

  • I watched this sketch with the commentary by the Kids, and everyone was cutting Dave up because of the blood on the surgical mask, lol. They couldn't believe he overlooked such an obvious continuity error.

  • This sketch is so funny! I love how he jus throws the cup on the ground!

  • a commentary on white men in america (or what they used to be before bush)

  • I never knew Canadians could be so funny.

I've watched kids in the hall since childhood.

Only in the last couple of years did I discover

Trailer Park Boys by Mark Clattenberg.Ya'll

should check the show out,if you don't know

    about it already.

Now that is some funny shit right there.

    I love Canada.

  • yeah, what the hell's with the blood on the inside of the mask?!? lol

  • @kgraham15 He's a bad doctor and probably didn't wear it.

  • Actually this applies to most doctors

  • Great show for the twisted minds out there

  • hilarious. and why is there blood on the inside of his surgical mask? lol

  • i just love dave's autobiographical monologues. ow, i just bent my brain a little.

    kith rules!

  • In my teen years I watched a lot of KITH and I had memorized this monologue. Still fabulous a decade later.

  • Fucking awesome.

  • dave is the king of the hall

  • Holy fuck, Dave is so handsome

  • I have been searching for the episode where Dave Foley is a patient who finds out he has cancer.

  • If you miss them, fear not. Check out "Death Comes to Town"

I have all the Kids in the Hall seasons, but we gotta share the love!

Hahaha. Btw anyone catch Scott Thompson on Reno 911?! hilarious. Miss all the kids~

  • Oh man this is a great sketch

  • It's not like I'm weak in some areas. I'm homogeneously unqualified to practice medicine in any capacity :D

  • URINE :D

  • i'm a BAD doctor

    lol

  • Hee hee! Funny use of language.

"How far can you coast on charm?... pretty far actually." So true.

  • Dave Foley had the best characters.

  • how did this become a debate about politics? anyway, Go Canada. KITH are the best comedians out there.

  • @NolanBarker I agree! Lorne Michaels is a wonderful finder of talent!!! (although they need to replace several members of the current SNL cast so it's funny again)

  • My most favorite sketch ever on this show.

  • maybe one of the best sketches that i haveever seen

  • this sounds like the same way George W. Bush became President of USA! incompetent yet voted in.

  • I didn't support Obama. I supported Dennis Kucinich and Ralph Nader! But since I am Canadian, I can only show my support in spirit. I wish you peace and love. :-).

  • Yes, it does matter who our Prime Minister is! Because we have a conservative PM right now, he has abandoned the Kyoto Protocol we signed. That has a great negative impact on the entire world.

And you do know that the Kids in the hall are all Canadian, right?

And why don't you try being nice to people for a change? Try spreading peace and love to everyone! Have a nice day. :-).

  • Gotta love redneck right wing ignorant Americans. I am SO glad I live in Canada.

  • Gotta love ignorant people who misunderstand comedy and then classify a whole group of people based on their misconception

  • @cookiechris120 well who has the patience or time to be any damn good anymore?

  • HAAHAHA! '08- End of an error.

  • the cheat sheets would just start flying! oh i love them
