  • The double back means that the end of the tie is facing towards the horse's eye. The end of the tie needs to point toward the horse's neck. An eye injury from the end tie is more prevalent. And when a horse pulls back even the safety loop will be tightened down so hard that it cannot be loosened except off the horse's head. I really like your video work. It is clear, simple and straight forward. Just include more does and don'ts perhaps. You did a good job! Just expound more.

  • th doubleing back doesnt work on my mare. She doesnt like the feel of the extra rope rubbing her cheek.

  • Good information, if i had a horse that knew how to set back i would use this. I think i might practice it now, because you never know.
