  • Very Nice!

  • No, this song I consider to be Maynard's 2nd hardest song to play...as long as you play like me and Maynard did! However, every other version I have heard done, leaves out the meat and potatoes at the end and that's like running a marathon, but riding in a car the last few miles to the finish line...doesn't quite count! You gotta hit those Double D's at the end if you wanna play it like MF! no debate! Also, this song was #4 that night out of 13 MF CHARTS i played!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Try watching this version of Hey There:

type in the search bar "2009 DBHS Band Hey There" should be first result

  • @FJJCIV I was in that band. Josh Gawel is one of if not the most talented trumpet player I know

  • sounds like clifford

  • Ok, this is actually one of the scariest Maynard Songs I have done.

Why? Well, when you actually perfom it, you SIMPLY have no breaks...nada!!!!!!!!!!!

Listen and you will see the soloist is pretty much playing the entire time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You need some brass ones to even attempt this chart. This was one of the first cuts I heard of Maynard's and I still love it. Nice job!
