  • Haha Awesome!

  • It was people like Chris when I was growing up that inspired me to get into science and design when I grew up - seems far too few people doing that now these days - hats off to the Geek Group.

  • haha awesome!

  • Love that kids face!!! You do such good work there Chris!

  • @ 4.30am 1/10/2012 - went to donate - but your server is not responding.

  • @ndiboomer Fixed ;) Website is undergoing growing pains.

  • GO MOM! I'm not sure if she enjoyed that more than her son, but WOW - that was a great reaction. And a new member!

  • Awesome video editing. Love the rewind. You guys and gals are doing amazing things. This is just the beginning! :)

  • Like the first time a kid tries a full auto Paint ball gun

    they never stop smiling

  • GIBRONEY NARRATES

  • Its always fun wow'ing kids with high voltage =) Priceless! If i had to get a pacemaker I would be devastated..I like making it, too much...

  • Watching that kids face made me cry a little to see how happy he got, and I'm not ashamed of it. You're right, that reaction is payment enough and it's a great feeling. He's hooked for life.

  • When do we get to see Gibronni's CNC warning sticker video montage?

  • The magic that Tesla Coil sparks in this kid is pretty priceless.

  • The best kind of shock therapy! For Science!

  • How about a link to the kick-a-buck in the description cause I'm too lazy to type it even though I just typed this whole comment sigh

  • Hahaha, it reminds me of my friends at high school when I bring my tesla coil, Ok the streamers are "only" 20inches long but they're always amazed to see lightning from so close :D (and let's face it, it gives me some good reasons to get better marks in physics :P )

    Their enthusiasm makes mine ;-)

Cheers from France ! Love you guys !

  • There ya go, another brain shocked into Geekdom! That's what the Geekgroup is all about! LOL

  • I liked the little speeches Chris used to do about how the geek group donations work better than that new cartoon that you guys play. The dull, green-grey colors, and drowsy, unenthusiastic voice - all I hear is "I'm getting payed to narrate an advertisement to ask you to give us money." It makes science look like a scheme to make money. I know that's not how it really is, and you guys are awesome people who just want to help others learn, but Chris says it better than that cartoon.

  • @mtdeezy No, that's just how Gibronni talks....you're right through.....we're making a new version now. Thank you :)

  • @mtdeezy I like the cartoons. They always put a smile on my wife and my face. I kind of want to see the montage of the Haas safety animations. The time Chris showed it I couldn't stop laughing.

  • Donate your children to the geek group -- for science.

  • liked, faved, and shared :D

  • Excellent small clip, His expression is priceless.

Good work guy's and gals keep it up !!.

  • I love it how he says "Well I am geeky." Totally reminds me of myself at that age :D

  • Tesla coils are AMAZING. I`ve made a little one myself

  • Ugh I wish I could visit you guys someday but I live in California.

  • @coolbam14 Looks who's talking.. Try getting there from Sweden.. :P

  • @weeruz Yet another sweede? Damn, soon there are more of us than brittish, and I think we already outnumber the 'Stralians.

get in the IRC (#Thegeekgroup at freenode - google freenode webclient) and have a chat with me and the other Scandinavians =)

  • @coolbam14 Angy came back to france from a visit. California to GR is nothing.

  • @Serostern Don't forget Ollie and Jo from the UK, Oliver from Belgium, and many, many others.

  • @thegeekgroup I will never forget Ollie, and I would love to meet him and throw him in a sauna with a bunch of us vikings =P

  • @Serostern Problem is that I am a 16 year old and I don't have a big budget. Just discovered Geek Group last week.

  • I really need to get back there

  • Haha, excited kids have the most authentic reactions. He'll remember that for a long time.

  • pacemakers help me liv but thats why they can be sucky you cant see awesomeness
