If you look back to the Siam attacks at Angkor it was worst than Pol Pot 10 times. Khmers almost lost their ID to Siam. At least Pol Pot was still Khmer and he would make Cambodia existed in the map, but Siam or Thais will make Cambodia disappeared from the map. Naga is just a symbol of the birth of Khmer nation. You can see so many Naga statues in every Khmer pagoda and every Khmer temple. Khmer people were powerful in the ancient time and can dig so many barrays and built so many stone temples even the Chinese thought only God can build such beautiful temples.

If you look back to the Siam attacks at Angkor it was worst than Pol Pot 10 times. Khmers almost lost their ID to Siam. At least Pol Pot was still Khmer and he would make Cambodia existed in the map, but Siam or Thais will make Cambodia disappeared from the map. So if I have only Pol Pot and Thais to choose, I would choose Pol Pot, because Khmer ID and Cambodia still existed.

King Sokunbot had a dream that Sdach Korn would be harmful to his throne, so King Sokunbot plotted to kill Sdach Kon unsuccessfully. Sdach Kon then recruited his army to fight King Sokonbot. There was civil war between Sdach Kon and King Sokonbot. Sdach Kon won and became the King.
