  • That is a beautiful Bullmastiff - very lean and great coat. Keep up the good work. My Bully eats raw everyday and he has never felt better.

  • and there no bullmastiffs hunting in the wild- they are domestic and should be fed as such

  • @leelablue umm, or I'll feed a appropriate diet for dog. Thanks :)

  • @roscopcoletrain That's right! Don't let the UNEDUCATED(about proper dog nutrition) HATERS tell you how to feed your dog. I'm so thrilled at all the videos I see of owners feeding their dogs, and cats, the raw diet! Just wanted to say GOOD JOB!!

  • he is sweet ThePentiumDual you think thats fat as a former mastiff breeder i dare you too step into room and say that too dogs face lol any way he is great a stunner

  • Nascar in the backround?

  • Was it a full grown old rabbit about to die? >.> Or already dead?

  • @paramore12555 Why does it matter? the cows we humans eat aren't old and about to die or already dead.

  • couldnt you feed it dog food

  • @Hellocattee13 I suppose wolves eat "dog food" too?

  • @Hellocattee13 And have one's dog slowly euthanized as it feeds on its own kind? You realize some dog brands use ground dog. Where do you think all those bodies go of dogs that are being put down. The euthanasia isn't broken down during the processing and ends up in the dog food with all those ground up dogs, some with their collars still on. Don't believe me? Look it up... and the pictures are heart breaking, the piles of dog bodies... Add that to veggies and grains they aren't meant to eat.

  • he is crunchin tha hell outta those BONES

  • nom nom nom

  • Have you ever heard of dog food?

  • @wowdirtsA Yeah, it's disgusting unhealthy garbage. Why feed "dog food" when you can feed the food that dogs were biologically meant to eat?

  • PPL DAMMIT !!!! DOGS DESCENDED FROM WOLVES !!!!!!!!!! WHY THE HELL AREN'T YOU GUYS CONDEMNING THEM ??!!!! just shut up.

  • pretty lean for a bull mas. Looks exactly like the dog in sandlot

  • why do you have him on a raw diet? my dog eats kibble

  • here you go buddy, just devour this raw rabbit right here in the living room. no need to take it outside. when you're done, poo in the hallway.

  • I want my next dog to be on a BARF diet, does eating the food raw cause excessive farting?[from the dog?].....[that would be unbearable]

  • theres an annoying kitten that always hangs out by my door..can you bring roscoe to take care of it?

  • ok if your dog eats the rabbit ...but you don't have to film that...and your dog is really ugly and fat

  • @ThePentiumDual lol if you think he's fat you need your eyes checked

  • @roscopcoletrain he needs his eyes checked!!!!!

  • @ThePentiumDual Are you kidding? That dog is a brute. Muscle from such protein. That is what a dog looks like that is on a natural wild diet, if it were hunting in the wild. The dogs we see everyday are living on veggies and grains with a meat suppliment. They are our warped perception of what a dog should look like, just like Hollywood. Nah, you need to see REAL dogs. Watch a raw fed dog compete brute strength against a kibble fed one... You'll see quick the difference between fat and muscle.

  • @ThePentiumDual Fat? Go see an optometrist before you speak?

  • @ThePentiumDual hes not fat bull mastiffs are that size

  • @ThePentiumDual What, why would you be nasty like that? as soon as the video started i thought that is a great looking dog.

  • I feed my GSD, Trudy, raw meat. Raw food is the most biologically appropriate diet for dogs. She gets 80% meat, 10% bone, 5% liver, and 5% other organs. 50% of her diet is red meat, the other 50% consists of white meat and fish. Dogs do not need any plant matter in their diet and do better without it. Feedin a prey model raw diet to your dog is the best thing you can do for them.

  • You can tell he has been on a RAW Diet for a while. I have ventured into RAW feeding and read much on it. My dogs eat the animals like they have ever saw food before.

Is rabbit a regular for him/her? Do you feed organic or just whatever? Is the rabbit store bought or from a local breeder?

I breed rabbits myself and when one dies a natural death I feed them to the dogs. I have been considering breeding a small meat line for them but I am unsure if I could stand not getting attached.

  • This is how dogs are meant to eat...make use of their k9s

  • Um you guys, I'm a rabbit lover but its just how it is! Just because this dog is eating raw rabbit doesnt make it sick, or wrong. Its the way of life.

  • why are ppl so touchy. i understand if you're a fuckin vegetarian or something, but if you're driving your fat ass to wendy's, coming home, sitting your big ass at the computer and then bitching about this, you are a waste of space. people eat meat all day long and dont get screamed at. the rabbit was probably raised at a farm and dispatched humanely. my veteranarian recommended a raw meat diet for my rottweiler, guess what he ate? fucking rabbits lol. nice crunching sounds lmao

  • Where did you get the raw whole rabbit? I'm having a hard time finding it

  • Cute doggy

  • I'm not going to watch 6 mins of a dog eating its dinner but I bet he's enjoying it. Do you find that a raw diet benefits the dog much or is it just because of his personal taste, my dog is on dry dog-food at the moment, it looks really dull but she actually really likes it (she is easily pleased). But in future I might consider raising dogs on this sort of diet, or at least incorporating raw meat into their diet. If you could give me any advice that would be wonderful :)

  • If anyone wants to film me shitting, I'm game. If you dont like this persons videos, dont watch. The fact that you came back a few times to continuously post, I think you got a chubby from the dog eating the rabbit

  • why would you film this ?

  • Because there are a lot of people out there who are new to raw feeding and have questions about it. Think of it as an instructional video ;)

  • what questions are there to ask...how do they eat the rabbit? its sick and disgusting yes i know its natural but at the end of the day its sick to film and watch i dont think it is a very much sought after topic and there is really no need for this video !

  • Comment removed

  • Actually you'd be wrong. I get plenty of emails & comments from people who are new to raw and thank me for posting these videos. People who are nervous to start raw feeding but after watching a dog actually eat different things, give them incite and confidence to start.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I totally disagree with it being "sick and disgusting".

try taking your head out of the bag of kibble ;)

  • yeah okay then but i still think that it is ultimatley a form of cannibalism and its wrong no matter what and to watch it is just disgusting but obviously you have your own opinion and i respect that but for me i think its morally wrong to see one creature being encouraged to eat another :)

  • How the heck is it Cannibalism? Serious?

What do you think goes into pet foods? Meat! Heck, people eat meat. Is that cannibalism?

    wow, just wow

  • well when one animal eats another out of the animal kingdom then it is...wow are you serious o are you not used to big words. i dont know or care about what goes into pet foods its disgusting to eat a fellow animal and the fact that its raw and that you would above all tape it is just nasty !

  • you may want to learn what these "big words" mean before you use them ;)

    1. the eating of human flesh by another human being. (HES NOT A HUMAN)

the eating of the flesh of an animal by another animal of its own kind. (HES NOT A RABBIT!)

the ceremonial eating of human flesh or parts of the human body for magical or religious purposes, as to acquire the power or skill of a person recently killed.(OMG MAGIC)

the act of pecking flesh from a live fowl by a member of the same flock. (HES NOT A BIRD)

  • oh wow you can copy and paaste well off a dictionary cant you? well done. but it still doesnt change the fact that you are sick. yes okay they eat rabbits etc etc but how is acceptable to film it? do people film you shitting ???

  • oh wow, it shows you have no idea what you're talking about.

But thanks for stopping by :)

  • i hate you now for that video

  • What DOES he not eat?... My Rocky (RIP)went out for hunting chickens at night in the neighbourhood... And believe me, he only left a couple of feathers!... HAHAHAAA... I have 3 bullies and they love eating dry pork ears!... Now I see when Rosco being very young, ate raw food, I'm going to do the same with my babies!... Thanks for sharing!!!!

  • Why The hell would you let a dog eat a incent rabbit !!!!!1

  • Ew.

  • my dog's did the same thing but tey had diareea

  • was th ebunny alive

  • Sure... Back in the day... :-)

  • Yes, for the whole duration of it actually.

  • OMG! THATS SOOOOOO MEAN!

  • what a lucky dog, like king, wish I was feeded like him :P

  • Well If he was already dead than giving the corpse to the dog is the smart thing to do. Because if he did n`t it would smell. and it would have decomposed and Co2 would damage the earths ozone layer. My only question is why did you film it? BTW nice dog =D

  • I don't like my dogs eating animal carcasses... so I feed kibble instead. You know, when they're tiny brown crunchy cubes, you can sleep far easier at night, even if the process to get the meat into said cubes is probably far more barbaric than anything a rabbit hunter is capable of.

  • do you know what kibble is made out of?

  • WHYYY ROSCOOO WHYYYYYY??? :'{

  • If i were a dog, I could only hope to live like this one.

  • i never thought of ever putting a car or dog on a raw diet. You know, that just might be healthier for them.

  • You GO, Rosco! Wish my dog had jaws like that!

  • Don't worry Roscocoletrain, these people don't understand that when they eat meat, it's the same. They're small people with big hypocritical minds.

  • Dogs and cats are designed to eat and successfully digest meat, organs and bones...NOT grains....veggies and fruits...READ UP AND GET A CLUE...they are meat eaters!

  • @Redhawk7 acually domestic dogs are omnivores and can survive on a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. But meat is the best thing to feed them. I'd feed my dogs meat with eggs, carrots, and apples but my mom keeps saying that they are to small to swallow the bones. I can't wait till I get my own dog.

  • @Redhawk7 you may think twicw when the bone splinters and punctures the intestinal wall-i am a vettech and seen it happen hundreds of times often fatally

  • @leelablue And Im willing to bet they're all cooked bones you see.

  • that is hardcore. prep for survival when your not there. lol jk

  • Wait, why would you have him kill a rabbit, then eat it? If you want to create a vicious animal, and be sicko yourself, you have succeeded. Congrats.

  • Come on now, grow up, and come out of that shell you're living under.

He didnt KILL the rabbit. It was dead. Caught by a hunter. And eating it wont make him vicious. Thats the dumbest comment posted on here. You obviously know very little about a raw diet for dogs and cats. OMG, pet cats kill mice and birds all the time. Are they vicious?

    sigh....some people

  • LOOOL hah yeah :PP

  • ... well, at least the rabbit didn't go to waste. -_-;;;; That said, I kind of hope that dog licked your face right after. Right on the mouth.

  • lol, is that before or after he licks his butt?

  • ROTFL!!! Good answer!

  • Lighten up, people. It's called raw food diet. If you eat meat, then you are eating an animal, too. If you are a vegetarian/vegan, you have to realize that dogs EAT MEAT. They are MEAT EATERS. They cannot exclusively eat veggies.

  • BUY DOGFOOT !!! -.-

  • dogfoot?? lol

  • Thank you for posting this video. Most people grow up with no exposure to having to kill to eat, they only associate food with pre-cut steaks or fillets, not the animal. They don't realize that you actually have to kill something if you want to eat it (plants too). There's a difference between animal cruelty and ethically killing an animal for food. A lot of people commenting don't notice that difference. Meat doesn't start with a hamburger patty, you have to slaughter the cow. Mmmmmmmmmm BACON!

  • quite disturbing with the sound

  • My younger sister Kathy ate a dead bird she found in the yard, when she was three years old. My mother threw up.

  • yo isnt it illegal to hunt rabbits?

  • Not in this area

  • Then im gonna find a cute, little furry bunny; and shoot it in the face.

    =]

  • o.o.. You are a cruel, cruel person.

  • OMG is that a real bunny I HATE YOU!!!! THATS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MEAN!!!!!!!!!=(

  • lol whats mean about it?

  • Do you eat chicken, KAITandIZ?

  • THATS SO MEAN!!

  • What exactly is mean about it?

  • my pet is a vegetarian. i dont allow him to eat meat. he only eat vegetables.

  • Thats fine if your pet is a cow or some other grass/plant eating animal. However if you're talking about a dog, then its not a vegetarian. You're a vegetarian who thinks a carnivore shouldn't eat meat.

Now I will say there are some dogs out there who have issues with meat bases proteins and so they do pretty good on a veg based diet. But these are pretty rare cases. So unless there is a medical reason they cant have meat...

Come on people, feed the way nature intended.

  • I agree. I'm vegan but I don't agree with dogs being vegetarian, it wouldn't be right for anyone to force their morals onto a dog. I have a rabbit (a herbivorous animal) so I don't need to feed him meat. Thanks for sharing.

  • Wouldn't it choke on the bones or something?

  • Raw bones when eaten whole like say in a whole rabbit or chicken pose very little if any risk to a dog. COOKED bones however pose a much greater risk.

can a dog choke on a bone? Sure it can. Can it choke on kibble or toys? You bet. IMO (and many many others) the benefits of the diet, far outway the small risk.

  • I brought a live (stunned) mouse home from the ranch tonight(it had fallen in a feed tub). My 5 tiny dogs were allowed to smell the mouse and vie for it. Sharkie snatched it and went to his bed and ate it ALL. He LOVED it! I think dogs and cats should have fresh whole foods that more approach a natural diet. Nuggets of dry meal is NOT natural-I don't care how great the brand is. Supplementing with fresh game is healthy for them, if you can deal with it.You ppl griping, you BETTER be vegetarians!

  • Sorry Skittles, but many people hunt and eat rabbits.

  • Nooo, u cant =-(

  • noooo you can't do you eat mcdonald's and burgers? nooo you can't eat cows. Stupid kids on you tube. Did your folks shelter u?

  • :'( Thats cruel. Im 8 years old and I love rabbits. I cant belive that woman in the background could just stand there

  • was the bunny already dead and he ate It?!?!

  • Yes, it was already dead. Caught by a hunter.

  • That hunter is a bastard! And I hope he will be shot down! Whoever he is.

  • You're certainly entitled to your opinion Dina. Hunting isnt for everyone :)

  • so you don't eat burgers? should slaughter house people be murdered? you're a huge hypocrite my dear if you eat meat.

  • i say poor bunny. (i grew up around hunting so i'm not some skittish city slicker... but i still like bunnys. i dont like the taste though) so poor bunny. call it raw meat and i dont care XD call it bunny and i'm a sap.

  • lol he was still hungery after he was done, when he finished he looked around like "wtf im done"?

  • Im saying raw food is species appropriate for a dog. Thats why I feel its better. If a dog was a herbivore, then I'd support feeding in that manner.

  • SO SAD!!!

  • Do you eat raw meat yourself?

  • Cant say that I do, however I'm not a dog either ;)

  • I'm just saying, if raw food is as healthy as you make it to be, wouldn't it be healthy for people too?

but if the dog likes it and it doesn't hurt them who cares

  • Is he a DOG? Dogs don't cook their meat, lol

  • Well, Shane, I hope the message I sent you helps you to understand why I and the many other people feed a raw diet. I suggest anyone with questions good raw fed dogs :)

  • I guess the millions of dogs who live very happy, healthy lives eating quality traditional dog foods and table food are actually being deprived of the joy of eating whole, pre-killed animals. I've never heard of anyone doing this & I've had dogs all my life and known dog owners all my life.

I suspect many people who choose to feed pet dogs raw whole animals get some strange kick out of it.

if you care to, plz explain why you would do this? Really.

  • I had my dog on pretty much the same diet. Not only do they love the food but it's also very healthy as well.

  • When I feed my Bullmastiffs raw game meat scraps and bones, they always get worms - tapes and hooks. It wasn't worth the worming not to cook it.

  • Its best to freeze any wild meat for a week or so. Kills most parasites. Ive been feeding him raw for almost 2 years and hes never had worms of any kind. A good healthy proper diet promotes a strong immune system. This does wonders for a dog or cat ;)

  • DAm that thing is a beast!

You should teach it to catch them hisself, or has he?

  • Sorry, I have no interest in teaching him to hunt. While many dogs have prey drive, Id rather not encourage it. We have wild rabbits oin our yard almost every day and hes never chased them once :)

  • friggen sick

  • how many meals a day does he eat?..i think the raw food diet is a great idea.

  • He eats once a day, between 1.5lbs - 2.5lbs, depending.

  • this is really interesting. I've never really heard of people doing this before. Do you feed him only raw foods? Or just as an occasional 'treat'?

  • No his entire diet is raw. Raw feeding is actually pretty common. check out this rawfed, com or rawfeddogs, net

  • thanks for the link, I'll check it out.
