  • EXCELLENT!!! Arte there any more lessons available??? Your English is really very good!!! (Adding an 'e' at the end of many words is unusual but in no way detracts from understandability)

  • This is so good. E molto bene.

'Azzuro' in inglese (When describing the sky - cielo) is 'Azure' as opposed to blue / blu.

    Tanti baci

  • Is the use of the word "pescecane" common?

  • @redcrimson718

haha "pescecane" literally(DogFish).. yes its common. it means Shark... SQUALO is more used but pescecane means the same

  • Io sono semestre italiano e essa è non un

I studied Italian in school, but after I graduated two years ago I have been forgetting everything I have learned. It's very sad since I have a family who speaks Italian but I don't understand them : (

  • This is most helpful, grazie mille Alex.

The colur you try to describe, azzuro I was told is best seen in the blue shirt of the Italian international football team (campione del mondo 2006!). They are nicknamed the Azzuri. It is a very bright almost glowing shade of blue.

    Ciao.

  • The word "Bianco" is actually very similar to the word "blanc", which means empty, without anything written on it.

    Very entertaining video.

  • you'd be amazed of how many wierd similarities there are between english and italian :)

  • it's not wierd :) All the European languages have lots in common, no surprise there... I was simply pointing out that even though the words "white" and "bianco" are totally different, an English-speaking person could still guess easily what bianco means in English, especially if he were told that it's a color.

  • @Shumeshi "blanc" comes directly from French, where it means "white", that's "bianco" in Italian. And there's nothing strange in this similarity between Italian and French because they are both romance languages and the similarities between the languages are really a lot.

  • Can someone who speaks Italian tell me what the Italian translation is for

    Strong Will?

I was told never to trust online translators and to find someone who actually speaks Italian.

  • Parlo l'italiano fluentemente e so che "STRONG WILL" i mezzi forti faranno

  • @Greatrune11 What???

  • how do you mean? What did I say?

  • @Greatrune11 Yes, what did you say? :D

  • @CistiFornaio1 I don't know, why did you react with "What?"

  • @Greatrune11 because I didn't understand what did you meant, so It was a way to ask you to explain.

  • But, what didn't you understand what I meant of what I said?

  • @Greatrune11 what you said

  • @WanderleiSilva29 Literaly, it can be translated as "Forte volontà" o "Forte volere"; but if you want an expression more used and stereotyped you can use "Buona volontà", that literaly means "Good Will" in English

  • Grazie!

io adesso studiare l'italiano da solo e

    io sono di Korea.

    Mi piace l'italiano molto.

io voglio che tu recordi video piu!!

  • Very nice, I thought of looking for some Italian lessons -for curiosity, on YouTube, and this is what I found. Surprisingly, I came to recognize a good number of Italian words that I have recently seen, though I live in Saudi Arabia! For example I came through Gatto and Nero in a children song about a cat. I also came through a shop downtown today called Viola (it was actually written in Arabic letters but pronounced like this). It was a shop specialized in Italian pottery tiles (for the floor).
