I had a experience yesterday with a GM 90 olds brake line hose looks similar in the way that one is in your video is the bracket that mounts to the strut. I thing GM. has done that on alot of their cars over the years and that's the problem that the bracket closes down on the hose from rust and won't let the caliper release and I think that was one stupid engineer that designed that bracket trapping water should always be avoided. Their are alot of fried brakes because of that. And hard to find.
im stuck my caliper is stuck. it doesn't moving back. i try bleeding my brake line to help push the caliper back easier but it doesn't seem to be working. what could be the problem. i have a 92 mr2. thx

@fleabeard lol And after a year they didn't cared... I just went back and forth just to find the video...Some people will even get tire of searching the next video, and instead of trying, they say, "The hell, I am getting out of here and eventually go to watch what ever video is next... And that's why people sometimes don't get what to do next...
This didn't help me much. I'm going to remove my K-sport front brakes. Anyone know a place on the internet where I can watch a real video on how to get them off? From A to Z, not K to P...
Yeah, you know HOW to after seeing this vid LOL. Plus the title of it doesn't say "Learn how to change brakes", it says TIPS on how to change brakes. Correct me if I'm wrong?
I think the title of this video was "How to Remove the Caliper to Change Brake Pads" not how to do a complete break job for those of you who are bitchin. I checked you videos and really haven't seen you make an effort to put anything like this up for others.
wow... you can really tell this guy knows what hes doing..."wear sensor???" that is called a wear indicator.. and a caliper does not come off that easy after removing the bolts, the piston has to be compressed. also you didnt mention anything about servicing the sliders, inspecting the brake hose, along with many other things people with come across...
four years? seriously? four years and the sequencing of the video clips STILL hasn't been addressed?

Why don't the people that host these sorts of videos ever NUMBER the title of each, to show the sequence they are supposed to be viewed in?
fleabeard 2 years ago 50
or make them more than 1 minute long.

He doesn't know how to count to 10, that's why. BUT he knows how to count the excess bucks
that he will charge you when he rips you off on a brake job.

Wow!!!! That was too much information. Removing Caliper: Apply fingers on one side and thumb on other side and apply lifting motion.
No tools necessary, folks. The only thing he forgot to add was to use your go-go-gadget caliper hardware kit.

Just an idea, but if you cut each segment down to 15 seconds, you could possibly have 100 videos for this topic.
