I have heard of non-net Goth bread wars in other parts, specifically in the Pit of Harvard Square. It's happened after homeless street outreaches have passed through and there's leftover bread.
(Exit the main entrance of the subway and take note of the sunken area immediately around you, that's the Pit.)
