Thanks I love using flat rions to do curls and any other style. I don't know why but my curler hates me ._. I've NEVER gotten a good use out of it. I get too much doll volume frizz look and when I tried to curl my friends hair it looked like I gave her dreads xD!

ive actually done these kinds of curls once i really liked them but they where a pain to do cuz i already have curly hair so i had to straiten then curll but these look more neat so thats why i like to do them :D

On what heat is your flat iron? My "good" one gave up about a month ago and now I have a real cheap one which doesn't seem to make the curls you have =/ It's more like a "I want to, but I can't"-curl, it'n not straight, but not a complete curl either.

What happens is similar to your "Laws of Attraction" hair video, when you twirled all the curls together after you curled them but before you sprayed it.

Even if I tousle it up after spraying it, it would still just twirl up together by itself. I've tried alternating directions as well (inward & outward curls), but they'll still do the same...

No I believe the smoke is an indication of moisture. Your hair should not burn when you use a hair styling tool... hahahaha. Heat + moisture = smokeee

Try using a heat protectant when your straighten-that will help keep your hair healthy-and as she said, no wet hair! Your hair is either damp or it might be greasy. Make sure to wash it often and if you don't have time-apply baby powder to your hair! It really works!
