It should sound like a Sat V, it uses the same fuel/oxi mix (kerosene/LOX). I bet the steely eyed misile men from that era teared up a bit.

The Falcon 9 has a sound that's unique, not like the other rockets. Maybe it's because the indivisual engines are smaller but it has 9 of them. I don't know, but I was remarking about that earlier today. Definitely very cool.

F9 is very similar to the Saturn I/IB which had eight first stage engines.
