aparently, justin, you thrive on ignorance. and not to mention your violent undertone speaks for itself. so i imagine black sabath or blink 182, maybe even van halen or kenny chesney are scientifically enlightening. oh the the ignorence of the guliable ache the mind.
Thank you for posting this... I have been trying to figure out the song from this promo for weeks and I was thrown off because I thought it was Jay Z.
i think what makes this commercial so awesome is the new direction science channel is taking...universally recognized as a stuffy information-only channel, dreaded by high schoolers, is now endorsed with stunning imagery and a song by obie trice of all people...
simply baller...
PS - i think bear grylls is cooler than survivorman, who wants to fight me on it haha
when i saw this on the science channel i immediately loved it due to the imaginative way the creator connected otherwise unrelated clips via gesture; a butterfly wings melting flawlessly into a solar panel unfolding; a pool ball melting into the planets.
I agree, the editing is supurb and pretty magical its so synchronized with the music. First commercial I am willing to watch over and over, I wish it was a official single release, plus the edit of the song is much more rock than rap, even though the song is a "rock infused" rap song in real life.
Y would they stop showing this commercial

Stupid rap songs have no place near anything related to science.
Rap culture thrives on ignorance and violence..why would anyone put it next to something intellectual?

Somebody who isn't a total fucking philistine who judges an entire genre of music as being the same?

Wish I could understand the lyrics (and NO I dont think its the original lyrics from Obie Trice's "Wanna know", maybe some of them...)
