  • @iggy1008 the corvette body is made of all fiber glass and internal components are super light... what's ur point?

  • The chevy cavalier is made out of cheap plastics and metals which make it lighter. But, nice cavalier though :D.

  • Eco swapped SC is about 2k, with boost if you tune low throttle lean you can get better mpg than stock. I have an 04 eco cav SC'ed and get 20-22 mpg city

  • what year of cavalier is this? z24 or no?

kinda been thinking of turbocharging my 2001 Z24

  • LOL and everyone disses these and sunfires..

  • zzzzz....

  • imma say automatic because it shifted waaay hard but awesome man!

  • anyone say sleeper?

  • i bet if he would of looked under the hood of the cav. he would not be that depressed but still gotta be a little bit sad there afterall he spent like 50k on his car.

  • what all did you have done im thinking about building one

  • how much would a s/c run ?

  • who disliked this?? are u crazy

i wouldnt mind having my doors blown off by that on the street.

what an awesome little car!. sounds great too.

  • It's the 2.4

  • But the look on a Corvette, Mustang, WRX, etc driver when you dust them is priceless. Plus you can have four doors, comfty seating, good gas milage, lower insurance premiums and cheaper replacement parts. And personally I enjoy making something faster while keeping it a sleeper.

  • @Jj5cool1 No, lol. When the car is stock you can have good gas mileage, and cheap repairs. Then when you add in all the turbo, and the newer engine parts like headers that can accomodate the pressure from the turbo your gas mileage only decreases, and when something brakes its still expensive to fix, just not as. Everything else is right though.

  • @zlee415

not exactly. ihave a 2002 chevy cavalier and i run about 25 to 30 MPG and my buddy has the same exact kind but supercharged and turbo and still gets same gas millage.

  • @TheMiracleWhipz I didn't post that, I think my cousin did. I know that most cars actually get better mpg's when they are modded as the engine gets better air flow, and a more efficient tuning rations out the gas more properly.

  • @zlee415 A few problems with that theory. When a car is turbocharged, it cannot be fitted with headers as a downpipe takes the place of the headers. So that talk about "After you add all the turbo and then headers...." makes absolutely no sense. Also, when the engine is tuned and a/f ratios are aligned and adjusted, fuel milage INCREASES. The stock configuration MPG can still be found in built cars when they are driven lightly, but if you put your foot into it, they will guzzle gas.

  • Have fun wasting money on these junk cars guys. For the money you spend on beefing up the shit box you could have an even faster mustang or camaro.

  • @scorpion11151980 yeah but I'd rather have a supercharged cavalier as i can use it as a daily driver and make good gas mileage while beating corvettes in a race...but thats just me

  • @scorpion11151980 For the same amount of money!? Not sure about that! Invest 2-3k in a Ecotec powered J-Body and you have a machine that does high 12s on street tires. I think that's pretty fast! And it stays relatively reliable and keeps a nice gas milage. Sure, it's not as fun as a RWD car, but you can do something pretty fast with little money!

  • what all is done to your cavalier ?

  • is that the 2.4L Twin Cam Engine?

  • i got a cavalier yessss... best cheap car ever

  • Its always satisfying seeing a underdog whipping the big dog of the family :)

  • @sexyboi142 i know right fuckin sad but now i regret getting rid of my old cavy

  • I don't know if it was auto or manual however a stock C5 vette usually runs mid to low 13s depending on the tires.

  • @airtonics Nice Cavalier man! You've got mad respect from this C5 vette owner :) I ain't mad at ya , keep up the work! :D

Maybe you'll go up against my C5 one day =3

  • Unfortunately not since this car was parted out as I purchased a C5 Z06 last spring. Maybe we'll run those someday instead :)

  • Corvette automatic? They usually run mid 11 quarter miles

  • Sick!! keep up the good work.

  • WHATTTTTT i had to see it to believe it hahaha well done .

  • that cavalier will rock n roll..

  • what kind of horsepower are you running, and what supercharger did you get, and what PSI are you running

  • WOW!I learn somethin new every day....

  • wow that vette got whooped on

  • what all was done to the cavi? is that a 2.2 or a 2.4?

  • but still dosnt the C5 have the 7.0 in it

  • No one said it was a z06, it's just a normal C5 and from everything I could tell it was stock.

  • is that even a z06

  • w00t

  • Eaton M62? what size pulley is it running?
