are u a dev for KDE team? if so can u tell me if this version will be the one to keep with nice performance and pretty stable or will be a kfr 4.6 soon?
im hoping this will be like kde 3.5 wich was pretty stable and fast, i think we have alredy enouph feutures in 4.5, make it stable and fast and its fine

There's no way i'm gonna switch back to Gnome...KDE 4.5 is just so beautyfull,organized,customizable,easy2use,snappy and on top of that, (i can't believe it myself) rock-solid.

But all the videos and stuff that i see, it's like KDE the windows are "blocs" and the overall ( for me) feels like big chunky, and gnome is so light.... you feel free using it jaja

btw I was a long time gnome user until I tried kde 4.4 then I never looked back. and finally "kde is not slow" check your ~/.xsession-errors file if you feel it's slow then you may resolve your problems.
