I think you jerk-offs forgot the German U-31 dumb ass! It's got stealth capability that even the US doesn't have, so you know where that leaves the Limeys, suckin' hind tit.Check out the vid how the U-24 snuck up to USS carrier Enterprise, fired simulated torpedos at it and took a photo through its periscope with it in its crosshairs.It then surfaced next to the carrier and handed the US Admiral the photo with a greeting: You've just been sunk, and all that without the US knowing they were there
You should read the recent reports from NATO and several other countries marine wargames. It is now a fact that the advanced Diesel/electric subs (Gotland &Type 212) are superior in most ways when it comes to attack/evade. During trials, these subs have remained extremely difficult to detect and the Gotland "sunk" a number of American flagships during one of the wargames.
if this was made a couple of years ago, maybe the collins class should be on there! sure they've had a lot of trouble, but man they were the best in the region, right up to parts of asia!
why can no one take the uk having the best on the list jese deal with it. the uk for hundreds of years had the best navy in the world. and still hold the record for the biggest empire in the world and with out good old GB their wouldn't be american so all you Americans can Ignore that fact but in the end your just being ignorant to the fact that you will always be living in the shadow of the great British empire
@mhmatt1 i agree with you that they do and all the videos are made by dumb Americans i (being canadian) think they should take more than size in to account skill is a HUGE PART so i think canada should be in some top 10 lists
@mhmatt1 might be 2nd biggest! that doesn't make up for your government being typicaly softy and barely having the will to fight! but you do have good snipers, i will say that!
@anonymous10011 shut up you ignorant twit. im just sticking up for my country which some Americans and some French seem to love to insult and mock so shut up u impudent illiterate fool.
@mhmatt1 No 1st world country needs sticking up for, the people whose primative but functional societies we destroyed need sticking up for, as do those who we unlawfully torture, but I must reiterate, the UK does not. I would also like to refute your claims of illiteracy and impudence on my part syllogistically; by reading your comment I have proven myself not to be illiterate and forcefully discrediting an offensive comment is not impudent, ergo I'm neither impudent, nor illiterate.
@anonymous10011 I take back my claim and I am sorry but i get annoyed when people insult GB as you would if someone insulted your home nation. so lets just draw a line under this before getting into a stupid argument.
@mhmatt1 Thanks, that took balls, I agree that the ignorance of YouTube is pathologically annoying and I love my country, I also agree that it seems strange how well the USA does in all of the "Top 10" videos, I mean on the Destroyer one someone claims the Arleigh burke class out-ranks the Type 45 (and every other detroyer for that matter) when it is 20 years out of date and serves a completely different purpose to everyone else's Destroyers...
@IamtheonlyKato I agree. Gotland Submarine is a precursor of AIP technology.In modern submarines with conventional propulsion. It is a pity that the Polish Navy does not have these submarines. :[ Damn politicians!!!
wow Im rather suprised that the Collins Class made it into this list. Although to be honest despite its teething problems is very much on par with US nuclear attack submarines.
Type 212 is the best, the US want to take over the whole company to get the technology but they are not for sale. During a war game the Los Angeles could not detect this 212 and called it even "Black hole"
type 93 in top 10 those things are tin cans full of rattling nuts and bolts. You can hear these things coming 10 miles away with your ear to the water.
if your gonna judge submarines, you judge them on their electronic warfare capabilities, firstly how good their sonar is then how good the computers are at interpreting the raw data from the sonar. then how quiet your own submarine is compared to what else is out there. everything else comes afterwards
@BUSTDANUT Like I said to others, I don't blame you. I blame the corrupt officails you guys elect, its ok to be angry at that fact, about 85% of california is privatised hence why it is a prosperous state, when you talk about royals wanting american buisnesses to invest in Britain, we're on about those BUISNESSESS not america's national debt...
wrong the Nimitz could take many torpedoes do to the Building style used and water tight doors do your research before you throw a sissy fit like a four year old that gets people in trouble.
first off i researched the titanic and second back then they did not seal the top of the water tight balk head if you call someone a moron do your research that is the problem with the world now everyone thinks that they know these things unlike you i do my research uneducated bafoon its people like you who bought in to Hitlers third Reich DO YOUR RESEARCH!
The type 212 should be higher than 5th place...Yes,it doesnt have too much firepower,yes,its small,but it more than makes up for that by being pretty much undetectable...
The virginia class sub is arguably the most quite nuclear sub in the world. It also has waaaay more computing power than the astute.
Look at how much the astute cost. It cost around the same as the virginia yet there are a LOT less of them that are going to be built. The lower the amount of equipment built, the more it costs individually.
P.S. the U.S. navy has more tonnage of ships than the next 13 largest navies COMBINED
@andrewm153351 also yes the US has more subs and bigger navy doesnt mean there navy is better why do US sub commanders come to the united kingdom to train? US just cant take being beat at anything, same with the quality of troops they produce....
Dude, the Chinese are using old, Russian type sub designs, with some European gear added. Second, your Astute class is behind schedule and well outside MoD cost !!! Third, the technology, is no where near the level of the USN !!! Finally, you don't have the numbers (personnel ), or the submarines in service as a sea going force to begin too compare to the US !!! Few, naval services of other nations do !!!
The top speed of all subs is usually classified.There is in fact many boats, that will exceed 50 kn.++.No one will tell you that because its a big deal.The Russians own much secret and devastating tech. Aboard their boats but info on sub performance and weps is very closely guarded on all sides and will always be.The sub is the king of kill on and in the oceans.U.S Navy 1974-1980.
Lol you've got to be joking. First off, this video is remarkably wrong. Secondly even IF the astute was better than the virginia, there are going to be 30 virginia's compared to 4 astute subs.
Also, the u.s. navy has more tonnage of ships than the next 13 largest navies in the world COMBINED.
@andrewm153351 this is about technology not about numbers. And numbers aside, you still need to count skill, don't kid yourself into thinking skill in the US navy is anywhere as good as the royal navy's.
hahaha i can't believe you would ACTUALLY imply that the royal navy is on anywhere close of a scale to the skill of the U.S. navy. But besides, that's opinion. There's no way for me to prove the U.S. skill is better, and vise versa.
No, this contest is about who has the most powerful navy.
And please, don't even act like the royal navy is even closely on par with the U.S. navy in terms of global power.
@andrewm153351 I know we're not on par with you for global power, this sia bout submarines and technology, not about naval power lmao. And anyway, whenever you'r at war with a nation tat has the same navy as your own, expect to live longer on a british ship.
Believing that you will live longer on a british ship is purely opinion that cannot be backed up by statistics.
And the astute class is NOT more advanced than the virginia class. If there were going to only be a small amount of virginia class subs like astute, then they would be WAY more expensive,
You have to remember, the more money a country has, the more they can spend on research and development
At the end of the day the U.S. is the richest, and strongest country on earth
@andrewm153351 The US can't afford anything, Yes, its got to spend it's way out of its problems otherwise everything would just collapse, when that spending gets deeper, debt gets bigger, the Obama and Bush administration has spent what they have, and then they spent a bit more, there is no profit in the US, no green arrows, no surpluses, just deficit... They can borrow there way out of problems, the only money they pay off on the deficit is just paying the soaring interest, hence a downgrade...
@andrewm153351 no your you idiot, US has over 100% in debt something like 104%, UK's econemy is 2.5 trillion how many 2.5 trillions go in 8.9 trillion? ill tell you UK is in 356% debt you retard your just 44% off the mark a bit like them vietnameese naplam strikes, and US econemy is not growing infact its going in further debt you dummy, UK is slightly growing and why is the united states concerned it wont be able to pay there own marines you nob head.
@andrewm153351 Clearly you can't find the difference between debt and deficit... Shame really, I quite liked Lehman Brothers :)
Oh and while we're at it, look at what you said, "At the end of the day the U.S. is the richest, and strongest country on earth".
In case your still a moron, Strongest? Yes, Richest? Not by a mile, I find it ironic that you can bang on about our debt when you owe China, Brazil, Germany and the UK large amounts of money, we bought your debt to stop another reccssion.
The main difference between the U.S. debt and UK debt is that 1) over 70% of our debt is held by U.S. citizens, not foreign countries. and 2) over 4/5ths of our debt is held in U.S. dollars, so it really doesn't matter at all how much debt we're in.
How can you possibly say we're not the richest? Not only do we have the largest economy(by far) but we have the highest average median household income. Go and google it.
And again, we have a high deficit because our country spends a lot. That doesn't mean we have a bad economy. Again, our deficit is held in U.S. dollars, which over 60% of the world's banks use as reserves.
" yes the US has more subs and bigger navy doesnt mean there navy is better"
You're right. It only means our Navy is far more powerful, which is what this whole discussion is about.
And newsflash, royal navy sailors come to the U.S. to train as well.
@andrewm153351 You have made my point, thank you very much, the US spends too much, there that wasn't too hard was it? Where did I say the comment you quoted me on? You comment on the numbers of having more subs, doesn't work like that, do you think they just send 40 subs all in a bunch to take out 10 ships in a bunch? Are you an idiot? Myabe! Do you like not addressing my points about debt? Of course you do! FYI the DOW closed down -1.7 and the FTSE closed up +0.9 today. Who is growing again?
Lol you bring up the STOCK MARKETS? DOW grows 4% one day and closes 1% the next and you call that not growing? You're comparing the growth of a whole economy to the bumpy growth of a stock exchange. that shows how desperate you are. By the way, the FTSE is $3.6 trillion and the NYSE is $13.3 trillion.
And you totally disregarded my comment about spending. It's in U.S. DOLLARS so it doesn't matter how much we spend.
And at the end of the day the uk has 4x more % of external debt.
The astute class is in no way superior to our virginia class. the virginia class has the computing power of 2 astutes, the same firepower, same speed, same armor, AND WE'RE GOING TO HAVE 30 COMPARED TO 5 ASTUTES.
LOL you're saying numbers has no advantage whatsoever? Let me get this straight. If the UK were to fight the US on the seas, please admit that the US would rape britain. If you deny this you are completely blind.
@andrewm153351 Numbers have a factor in how many you can replace if others are destroyed, like I said, you dont just send 50 submarines to one place to obliterate your enemy, I do think you have been playing too many video games, again avoiding my question on funding now that you have no moderate response, if you look on the description of the video, the virginia class subs are good but out dated, this is to with MODERN submarines, not how many each country have, give your brain a chance....
Actually in some cases you do. It's called overwhelming the enemy, but i don't expect you to understand this, being that you know nothing about the military OR economics.
Virginia subs are outdated? HAHAHAHA that is hilarious. The virginia has 2x more computing power than the astute. So how is it outdated again?
And you STILL haven't answered my question.
Who would win in a sea war? Uk or US? It's pretty simple.
@andrewm153351 In some cases you do?? Ok, that has never happend in naval history, so the short answer is, You don't!
The virginia class needs up to 50 more personel to operate the same battlestations and capability as an astute submarine class, that is the reason it needs upgrading, (and apparantly you were investing in better technology).
Your last point is Invalid as UK and USA are allies.
Are you denying the fact that in some cases we overwhelm the enemy? And i wasn't just talking about submarines, i was talking about the navy in general.
So let me get this straight....You're thinking that the virginia is inferior because it needs more sailors? LOL that has nothing to do with it's overall capabilities.
"UK and USA are allies"
That's your way of saying that you know we would rape you on the seas.
Just admit it, the U.S. has the most powerful navy
@andrewm153351 I wasn't actually debating who has the strongest navy, I was debating who has the modt modern navy hence the title of the video, your obviously a butthurt american who can admit the UK has the most Modern submarines, If we ever went to war becasue a pathetic tool like you were allowed in the whitehouse, I say god the world you deluded patriotic sad excuse for a decent american, I was in america recently, thankfully I didn't meet you, you seem the type who wants to kill every brit.
Once again, your only excuse for how they are more "modern" is that they require less sailors.
Never mind the fact that ours has 2x the computing power. Sorry but you can't get more modern than computing.
And i still have not heard you say that the U.S. would own the uk in a sea war.
Come on....just admit it.
Why would you be proud of having the most modern submarine(even if it were true) yet you act like us having an overall more powerful navy doesn't mean anything?
@andrewm153351 Funny you say that, James Amos said that it was in "americas defensive and offensive interests to adpot astute submarines with the trident nuclear missle weapons system".
I guess it is typical of a Texan to try and get it's country to fight smaller countries, you wouldn't boast about fighting china or russia would you? I like the UK's and USA's special relationship and your country must be ashamed of you for the twattish things you come out with... Seriously, Grow Up.
LOL so many things wrong with your comment. It is clearly stated in the U.S. special interests that we actually want to reduce nuclear missiles on submarines. Secondly, James Amos is only ONE person(who i coincidentally couldn't find in google)
And actually i do talk to russians and the chinese about the military. because as of right now, teh U.S. has by far the strongest military force in the world. Go to globalfirepower(.)com to see all of the statistics for yourself.
@andrewm153351 This is getting embarrassing for yourself now, THE MOST MODERN NAVY, NOT THE STRONGEST!!!! when will you get that into your thick skull, You can't find James Amos on google? Did you only try the first result or could you guess what he might do?
The US like you say want to reduce it's stock on missles, but not on the subs that house them already, they want to replace those subs, try finding James Amos. I don't need to go to globalfirepower(.)com becasue it doesn't go into tech...
@andrewm153351 Well, there not going to make the most modern submarines the most incappable of defence and strike capability now are they? Why don't you admit something and say that you got the message of the video the wrong way, You thought it was most powerful, Its most modern, you don't want to be told that, good ridance. (blocked, cheers)
HAHAHAHA first off, i like it how you didn't even acknowledge how much you failed by thinking you can block my comments.
That's a facepalm if i never saw one.
Secondly, your proof that the astute is the most modern is from a YOUTUBE video top ten list? HAHAHAHA oh yeah that happens to be made by a british person? HAHAHAHA
By the way, notice how many dislikes this video got.
@andrewm153351 Im wondering if the dislikes were from 4 dozen butthurt americans that are hurt that there country wasn't rated top for a military agenda, a bit like best tanks, your not number 1 for that...
I wouldn't want you posting shit on my wall to be quite honest with you, hence a block, let me leave you with a thought,
Does your ass get jealous about the amount of shit that comes out your mouth?
Sorry, but when did you say germany was number 1? can you show me the quote from your message? Cause im not seeing it.
And you can't put a country's spec ops on top 10 lists. That's just ridiculous.
Yes, there are some disadvantages of the U.S. military, but at the end of the day, the U.S. military is the strongest military force in the world. And don't act like it's not a big deal, cause you KNOW if it was YOUR country, you would be bragging too.
@andrewm153351 "Germany is number 1 for tanks." - Enjoy a quote while your brain catches up.
Special Forces not relevant? Ok, so if special forces took out a USN subamrine pen, with say 5 subs in, that is irrelevant?
Back to the original argument, its interesting to see your not discussing the issue, remember we are talking about the modernisation of military technology, I would be bragging? Look who doing it right now... Take my advice and grow up!
hahaha you are truly pathetic you know that? You do realize that i can see WHEN you post comments right? The comment that says "germany is number 1 for tanks" was written AFTER you said that you said it. There goes another epic fail for you.
"took out a USN submarine"
???
Last time i checked you were trying to brag to. You just didn't realize how wrong you are.
Remember, the U.S. spends FAR more on research and devolpment for it's military, so obviously we would be more advanced
@andrewm153351 After everything that has happend between us, I feel sorry for you that you cannot identify the difference between powerful military and modern military...
Anyway, I'm off to play BF3, have fun trying to satisfy your butthurt agenda.
(you can reply, but I won't bother putting down a response to someone who won't be able to understand it...)
@andrewm153351 You're forgetting something, which is that Britain's era of world dominance is over, so we no longer need a massive military. The US on the other hand needs to sustain world peace. So there is no comparison. It's all turned out well for Britain. If we were ever attacked, our big dumb cousins across the atlantic would show no hesitation in wiping out the attackers.
First off, you can't hide the fact that the uk's military power is minuscule compared to the U.S. by saying that it doesn't dominate the world anymore. That is precisely my point.
And last time i checked it was britain who went to fight iraq at America's disposal.
Dumb cousins? LOL It must be heartbreaking to know you have to rely on "dumb" people to come and save you.
@andrewm153351 In the Victoria age, we ruled the world. We needed a massive military. Nowadays, we don't rule the world, and don't want to. We are entering a face of foreign policy isolation. We only need a military to defend our island and overseas colonies. So a decent navy, and a decent air force. We have that. So, no problem.
Yes, dumb cousins. You exist because the British government wanted a huge population to defend us when necessary. Pilgrims.
First off, i highly doubt your country's government doesn't want to rule the world. ANY government would want that. the reason the british empire ended was because it was losing control over it's puppet countries. Don't even kid yourself as to thinking they just happily let the countries separate.
"you exist because the british government wanted a huge population to defend us"
LOL yeah cause im sure they just gleefully let us gain independence.
@andrewm153351 No, the only reason you think that is clearly because you're a 10 year old boy. Ruling the world is not a fun thing to do. When Britain ruled the world, we had responsibilities in Asia, China, India, America, South Africa, Egypt, East Africa, Yemen, the Suez Canal, Malta, Australia, New Zealand... the list goes on. Now, we have no responsibility at all. We can focus on our own little island. You don't understand how much of a relief that is.
WOW. i can't believe you're actually trying to imply that your country is better of without an empire. How hilarious...
The british empire had a financial backing in all of those places that you mentioned. Ever heard of taxes?You had control on all of the trade going on. You also had a military advantage. You also had a stronger foreign policies.
@andrewm153351 You are a 10 year old school boy who thinks that power is everything. When you grow up, you will realise that is not the case. The fact that you think all governments want to rule the world just proves your lack of maturity, your lack of reasoning, your lack of understanding.
Britain is poorer without the empire- who cares? A lot of that money went to administrating our colonies. When we lost America for example we became richer, because there was less land to administrate.
And the fact that you think all countries DON'T want to rule the world is extremely childish and naive.
"a lot of money went to administrating our colonies"
This still does not negate the fact that you made MORE money when you had the colonies.
And britain getting "richer" had nothing to do with losing America. There were many different factors including britain finally beating france, and inflation.
America supplied nearly 1/3rd of the taxes to britain, before independence.
@andrewm153351 This makes me chuckle. I have an MA in history, a degree in both modern & ancient history, and I am a professional historian. And here I am, debating a little power rangers child from America. You made so many factual errors in that comment, it was similiar to the holy bible.
@andrewm153351 I'm still outstanded by your last comment. 'And the fact that you think all countries DON'T want to rule the world is extremely childish and naive.'
In fact, I'm wondering whether I should continue this conversation or not.
@andrewm153351 Seems like all I can drag from this conversation is that you don't know the difference between a modern navy and large navy... Ironic much?
@andrewm153351 Well, on armoured divisions, germany is the most MODERN
On Navy, Britain is the most MODERN, why won't you accept the fact that the US is not top for everything...?
If you can't admit that, your a bit of a pathetic patriot, here - look at this website to prove it - I'll post it on your page or private message you, ok honey bun?
You still haven't given any logical reasons to how the uk navy is more superior.
I still haven't got that url you speak of. I can send many urls showing the U.S. navy is the most modern.
And by the way, why would you be so proud of your navy being more modern(which it isn't) if MY navy has superior power??? At the end of the day, the US navy is the most powerful force on the planet, which deserves much more bragging rights than "most modern"
@andrewm153351 It's difficult to send you messages when you have a friend block on private messages, a channel which is a disaster to navigate around and the fact I cannot send a URL via comment...
First off, i designed my profile to be "a disaster to navigate around". Secondly, you CAN send some urls in comments if you just put ( ) over each period, and spaces between h t t p and w w w
Like this-
h t t p : / / news(.)cnet.com/8301-13772_3-20010868-52(.)html
That url shows that the virginia sub is the most advanced in the world.
@andrewm153351 Its true when they say you learn something new every day!
I guess I didn't say I wasn't talking about subs here, oops, I was talking about battleships.
And why would you design your profile to be a disaster to navigate around? The only thing I could pull out of it, is that your a "diehard" texan, thats a pity...
Lol if you knew anything about how computers work you would easily be able to "navigate" around my page. It's amusing how you still haven't figured it out yet.]
Anyways, i believe you're talking about the type 45 destroyer. It doesn't have radar integration installed that allows it to freely communicate with ships around it, like the Arleigh-Burke class destroyers.
The type 45 also can't even hold a candle to the upcoming Zumwalt class destroyer. Go ahead and google it.
@andrewm153351 Thats exactly what I'm talking about, It is expensive, VERY expensive, Im not debating whether it is more modern - it obviously is, the fact is, the USN put down an order for 38 of them, then slashed to 27 and then slashed again to a mere 7. Lawmakers and others have questioned whether the Zumwalt class costs too much and whether it provides the capabilities the U.S. military needs. In 2005 the Congressional Budget Office estimated the life-cycle cost of a DD(X) at $3.8–4.0bn.
@andrewm153351 Ironic isn't it? The largest economy with the largest debt crisis, it's ok, I don't blame you, I blame the administrations your countrymen elect, likewise here to be quite honest.
I did also say that it was a great ship and modern, not sure what you were thinking there, the cost, well, obviously that raises concerns with your government or they would not of brought up the problems in funding, if thats not a problem why did they slash the ship figures from 37 to just 7 ???
Largest debt crisis? Not even CLOSE. If you knew ANYTHING about economics would have realized that the U.S. isn't even remotely on par with other countries in terms of % of debt.
Yes, we have a high total number of debt, but that's because we have the most money. What really matters is PERCENT of debt.
For instance-
Britain- 400% debt
France-182% debt
Germany-142% debt
America-99% debt.
FAIL.
Cost CAN be an issue when we're in a recession, but we're getting OUT of the recession
@andrewm153351 400%,182, 142, 99 - not all the countries have the same GDP you know, america which has the most GDP in the world, the biggest economy and has 99% of debt? THAT is pretty shocking if you ask me, your own president admitted it... Like I said, its not your fault, your just trying to stick up for a flatlining economy, I blame the last UK government for its wild spending, now we have a government that actaully has a brain.... Its cool, don't break a sweat over it.
@andrewm153351 Your economy grows faster than smaller economies, (UK) naturally, but for the biggest economy the figures are concerning for the China, Germany, France, Uk and Belguim - countries that have kindly bought a vast amount of your countries debt to stop it rolling over again, we're trying to support YOUR economy becasue if that goes over, so does the rest of the world, stop trying to think I blame you, If you think I am misguided over economics, your a Texan, that is all...
You're knowledge of economics is appallingly low level.
Size of economy has nothing to do with growth rate. In fact, smaller economies are supposed to grow FASTER than larger ones.
How can you continue bringing up debt when Germany, France, UK and Belgium all have MUCH higher % of debt??? By the way, the majority of America's debt is held by American citizen investors.
Lol it must hurt so bad knowing your getting owned by a "stupid Texan"
@andrewm153351 It might be wise to stop filling your comments with soundbites, Its not helping your already appauling debt crisis, $14.5 trillion, 2/3's of it, You owe to the public, you pay an appauling rate of interest on that. Im bringing up Ger, Fra, UK etc, becasue they are the ones that have bought your debt to try and balance out your economy, and the UK debt is just below a Trillion actually, so if your trying to make out the US is in a better state than the UK, try again my friend.
Once again you bring up our debt. What part of this do you not understand? $14.5 trillion debt isn't that much coming from an economy that makes over $14 trillion every year. It's PERCENT that matters, and the US is far lower than most countries in europe in terms of % of debt.
And you said yourself that 2/3rds of America's debt is public owned. So those countries you listed play a VERY small role in our debt.
@andrewm153351 But the problem is those countries have bought that public debt... In fact, I think a leading economist described the UK's debt as "back from the brink", and the US debt as over the cliff and onto a mattress" (refering of course to the debt ceiling and the humilating downgrade), The fact of the matter is the US and the Eurozone countries are looming the world into another resscesion. Analysts disagree with your deficit reduction plan, and frankly, I don't blame them!
@andrewm153351 Yes.... A very tiny percent, only a miniscule 42% of it...
Does it suprise you that the S&P got "Investigated" by the Obama Adminstration, the US was obviously humilated on the world stage and doesn't want to appear weak in front of financail stock markets...
Your interest rates are not supposed to be affected by this, it means your cost of borrowing soars to put a bloddy lid on your spending, A good example of this is what we are seeing in Italy at the moment.
"Your interest rates are not supposed to be affected by this, it means your cost of borrowing soars"
HAHAHAHAHA what the FUCK do you think interest is? COST OF BORROWING YOU IDIOT. And our interest was unaffected.
Im still shocked to hear that you ACTUALLY think britain's debt is better off than America's, when i've sent you many sources proving otherwise. P.S. the MAJORITY of uk's debt is held by foreign investors. Need the source?
@andrewm153351 P.S. the MAJORITY of uk's debt is held by foreign investors. Need the source? - Really? You moron, every country that has big debts is obviously going to be held by foreign investors.
YOUR interest rates that you get from your bank is not affected, like YOU said to me, so either your contradicting yourself here, or you don't know the difference between borrowing rates and bank interest rates.
Oh and you can't court martial a company, I believe your quoting an angry democrat. :)
hahhaa you had to block me....LOL i looked in my personal messages, and the urls that you gave me i can't find anything about our national debt being over 200%.
At the end of the day the U.S. has a lower poverty rate, lower % of debt, higher average income, higher economic growth, higher standard of living, etc etc etc i can go on and on.
@andrewm153351 America is owned by the Chinese. When the time comes they are going to pull the plug and america will become a backwater like Canada. Military equipment at bargain prices !
Lol you need to stop getting your information from documentaries.
China still uses the American Dollar for nearly all of it's reserves. This means America controls nearly all of china's money.
Just because china gives us debt and buys our bonds doesn't mean they own us. Over 61% of the world uses our currency for it's reserve, which means we control 61% of the world's money.
And again, most of our debt is held by our own citizens.
@andrewm The largest holder of Treasuries is the Federal Reserve...yes that right Amerika has been printing money and directly monetising government expenditure. They have to to keep the interest rate down. This is the beginning of a hyperinflationary blowout and the end of Amerika. The Chinese are already scaling down their purchases and will dump the rest when the time comes. Amerika will nolonger be able to fund itself - and its banks holding this toilet paper will be bust. Game over in 20y.
@Bushcamper4Sale I wasn't talking about treasuries but ok. Yeah, the federal reserve(which is AMERICAN) owns more Treasuries. So how does china own us again? China will never "dump the rest". That is totally absurd. Not only will it seriously inflict damage on their economy, but it will lower their own reserve system.
People have been saying "game over in 20y" for the past 50 years. It never happens.
Remember, America's economy is backed up by the largest gold stockpile in the world by far
If the fed owns treasuries it means it is printing money for the US to live. You do know what Weimar is don't you? The chinese own you. They are playing the long game. They only have to stop buying US debt are you are finished. Whats the amerikan budget deficit again? Who are you going to borrow from when you need to rollover existing debt? American debt doesnt back the chinese currency - it suppresses its traded value. An intentional act whilst they gut your productive industry...
Exactly. The fed has been doing this for a long time. And the government inflates the dollar on PURPOSE to pay less for debt and trade. This is why our government is mad at china for devaluing their currency.
How can you possibly think they own us when they use OUR dollar?
And our government is going to be taking huge cutbacks within the coming years, so no, we won't rely on their debt as much. There are MANY other countries who buy our debt by the way
How much of GDP is government spending? How big is the deficit? 1.4T. 1.4T off a GDP of 14T?? Thats a laugh. Amerika will never have a balanced budget until it defaults. You have a mass of entitlement programs that just wont be payable. The chinks will use dollars until they have developed a pan asian debt market. Then they will insist on trade in Yuan. This is their plan. The dollar is dead. Amerika will fall back into its borders and live by within its means. No more BOOM BOOM 4 U !
We are spending a lot to get out of the recession. But soon, our GDP growth will outweigh the debt %. This is why our GDP has been constantly growing for the past year and a half, even when we're in a recession.
never have a balanced budget? LOL what ludicrousness. It will only take a couple more terms of a conservative president to lower the budget. We're spending like crazy to get out of the recession.
"until they have developed a pan asian debt market"
A recession is a decline in GDP numbnuts ! This is laughable ...spending more to get out of debt problem!!No - you are destroying your currency. When the currency goes so does the empire. Do you really believe amerikans are specially anointed that they can defy economic realities? Your country is being asset stripped as we speak. The world is moving east. Amerika's era is ending. Gold wont save you. An economy is only worth its "PRODUCTIVE" capability. Remind me again what is the UStrade deficit
You really have drunk the 'USA' USA' kool aid haven't you. How are you going to pay for all your entitlement programs? By doing this ? research stlouisfed org fred2 data BASE Max 630 378.png One day they will pin that picture to every classroom in the US to remind kids of the folly of their elders. Devaluation requires you to purchase a valuable asset with new currency. You arent buying a valuable asset. You are buying worthless Tbills. It's called debasement. You will never sell them.

During trials, these subs have remained extremely difficult to detect and the Gotland "sunk" a number of American flagships during one of the wargames.

elliesweet1 3 months ago
@elliesweet1
The astute class is not the most powerful sub.
P.S. the U.S. navy has more tonnage of ships than the next 13 largest navies COMBINED
andrewm153351 3 months ago

Third, the technology, is no where near the level of the USN !!! Finally, you don't have the numbers (personnel ), or the submarines in service as a sea going force to begin too compare to the US !!! Few, naval services of other nations do !!!

So yeah....britain doesn't rule anything.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 this is about technology not about numbers. And numbers aside, you still need to count skill, don't kid yourself into thinking skill in the US navy is anywhere as good as the royal navy's.
PlaneAU 3 months ago
@PlaneAU
hahaha i can't believe you would ACTUALLY imply that the royal navy is on anywhere close of a scale to the skill of the U.S. navy. But besides, that's opinion. There's no way for me to prove the U.S. skill is better, and vise versa.
No, this contest is about who has the most powerful navy.
And please, don't even act like the royal navy is even closely on par with the U.S. navy in terms of global power.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 I know we're not on par with you for global power, this sia bout submarines and technology, not about naval power lmao. And anyway, whenever you'r at war with a nation tat has the same navy as your own, expect to live longer on a british ship.
PlaneAU 3 months ago
@PlaneAU

"68,000,000,000,000 left don't you?"
That statement makes no sense whatsoever. Are you talking about debt? What the fuck are you talking about?
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 The US can't afford anything, Yes, its got to spend it's way out of its problems otherwise everything would just collapse, when that spending gets deeper, debt gets bigger, the Obama and Bush administration has spent what they have, and then they spent a bit more, there is no profit in the US, no green arrows, no surpluses, just deficit... They can borrow there way out of problems, the only money they pay off on the deficit is just paying the soaring interest, hence a downgrade...
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
Wow. Someone with the word "politics" in their username should be more politically factual.
You want to talk about debt? You do know that the UK has over 4x more debt than the U.S. right?
The UK is $8.9 trillion in debt, which is 400% of it's economy
The US is $14.8 trillion in debt which is only 99% of it's economy.
And on top of that, our economy is GROWING way faster than the uk's economy.
And about the "downgrade". You do know that it hasn't affected our interest rates at all?
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 no your you idiot, US has over 100% in debt something like 104%, UK's econemy is 2.5 trillion how many 2.5 trillions go in 8.9 trillion? ill tell you UK is in 356% debt you retard your just 44% off the mark a bit like them vietnameese naplam strikes, and US econemy is not growing infact its going in further debt you dummy, UK is slightly growing and why is the united states concerned it wont be able to pay there own marines you nob head.
TheGunner1324 3 months ago
@TheGunner1324
Wow. according to the CIA, the U.S. is only 99% in debt, and the uk is 400%. And how in the hell would i be off by 44% if the uk's debt was 356%???
And our economy is taking MAJOR budget cuts, so that in the future we won't have as much debt. That's what a republican president is for.
Can't pay for our marines? What bullshit. Our military is over 101% capacity. We don't NEED those marines.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 Clearly you can't find the difference between debt and deficit... Shame really, I quite liked Lehman Brothers :)
Oh and while we're at it, look at what you said, "At the end of the day the U.S. is the richest, and strongest country on earth".
In case your still a moron, Strongest? Yes, Richest? Not by a mile, I find it ironic that you can bang on about our debt when you owe China, Brazil, Germany and the UK large amounts of money, we bought your debt to stop another reccssion.
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
Continued-
The main difference between the U.S. debt and UK debt is that 1) over 70% of our debt is held by U.S. citizens, not foreign countries. and 2) over 4/5ths of our debt is held in U.S. dollars, so it really doesn't matter at all how much debt we're in.
How can you possibly say we're not the richest? Not only do we have the largest economy(by far) but we have the highest average median household income. Go and google it.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
continued-
And again, we have a high deficit because our country spends a lot.
And newsflash, royal navy sailors come to the U.S. to train as well.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 You have made my point, thank you very much, the US spends too much, there that wasn't too hard was it? Where did I say the comment you quoted me on? You comment on the numbers of having more subs, doesn't work like that, do you think they just send 40 subs all in a bunch to take out 10 ships in a bunch? Are you an idiot? Myabe! Do you like not addressing my points about debt? Of course you do! FYI the DOW closed down -1.7 and the FTSE closed up +0.9 today. Who is growing again?
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
And at the end of the day the uk has 4x more % of external debt.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
If you deny this you are completely blind.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 Numbers have a factor in how many you can replace if others are destroyed, like I said, you dont just send 50 submarines to one place to obliterate your enemy, I do think you have been playing too many video games, again avoiding my question on funding now that you have no moderate response, if you look on the description of the video, the virginia class subs are good but out dated, this is to with MODERN submarines, not how many each country have, give your brain a chance....
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
"you don't just send 50 submarines to one place"
Actually in some cases you do. It's called overwhelming the enemy, but i don't expect you to understand this, being that you know nothing about the military OR economics.
Virginia subs are outdated? HAHAHAHA that is hilarious. The virginia has 2x more computing power than the astute. So how is it outdated again?
And you STILL haven't answered my question.
Who would win in a sea war? Uk or US? It's pretty simple.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 In some cases you do?? Ok, that has never happend in naval history, so the short answer is, You don't!
The virginia class needs up to 50 more personel to operate the same battlestations and capability as an astute submarine class, that is the reason it needs upgrading, (and apparantly you were investing in better technology).
Your last point is Invalid as UK and USA are allies.
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
Just admit it, the U.S. has the most powerful navy
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 I wasn't actually debating who has the strongest navy, I was debating who has the modt modern navy hence the title of the video, your obviously a butthurt american who can admit the UK has the most Modern submarines, If we ever went to war becasue a pathetic tool like you were allowed in the whitehouse, I say god the world you deluded patriotic sad excuse for a decent american, I was in america recently, thankfully I didn't meet you, you seem the type who wants to kill every brit.
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
Why would you be proud of having the most modern submarine(even if it were true) yet you act like us having an overall more powerful navy doesn't mean anything?
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 Funny you say that, James Amos said that it was in "americas defensive and offensive interests to adpot astute submarines with the trident nuclear missle weapons system".
I guess it is typical of a Texan to try and get it's country to fight smaller countries, you wouldn't boast about fighting china or russia would you? I like the UK's and USA's special relationship and your country must be ashamed of you for the twattish things you come out with... Seriously, Grow Up.
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
Go to globalfirepower(.)com to see all of the statistics for yourself.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 This is getting embarrassing for yourself now, THE MOST MODERN NAVY, NOT THE STRONGEST!!!! when will you get that into your thick skull, You can't find James Amos on google? Did you only try the first result or could you guess what he might do?
The US like you say want to reduce it's stock on missles, but not on the subs that house them already, they want to replace those subs, try finding James Amos. I don't need to go to globalfirepower(.)com becasue it doesn't go into tech...
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
UK doesn't have the most modern navy. You're only way of proving this is by saying one type of submarine doesn't need as many sailors.
Why would you be proud of having a the most modern navy(even if it were true)?
Which feat do you think is more impressive. "Most modern" or "Most powerful, and incomparable"?
And no, if YOU did any research you would have realized that the U.S. is replacing it's nuclear missiles with long range tomahawks.
FAIL.
This shows how little you know.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 Well, there not going to make the most modern submarines the most incappable of defence and strike capability now are they? Why don't you admit something and say that you got the message of the video the wrong way, You thought it was most powerful, Its most modern, you don't want to be told that, good ridance. (blocked, cheers)
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
First off, i find it hilarious how you think that just because you blocked me, i can't reply to your comments.
Blocking only blocks someone from sending personal messages and commenting on YOUR videos.
Fail.
Secondly it's "incapable" not "incappable"
Thirdly, you have YET to prove how they are more modern. The mere fact that the virginia's have 2x the computing power show that THEY are more modern.
Therefore our navy is not only more modern, but 10x more powerful as well.
andrewm153351 3 months ago

I wouldn't want you posting shit on my wall to be quite honest with you, hence a block, let me leave you with a thought,
Does your ass get jealous about the amount of shit that comes out your mouth?
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
hahaha it's funny how you get owned on submarine talk so you move on to tanks.
First off, the abrams has more power/weight, is faster, has more secondary weapons than the challenger 2.
And the challenger 2 doesn't have tank integration like the abrams does.
Also, there are 446 challenger 2 tanks built, while over 9000 abrams have been built.
Lol and now you're trying to say that you blocked me because you didn't want me posting on your wall...HAHAHAHAH YOU'RE NOT FOOLING ANYONE
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 Where did I mention that British tanks were better? What you banging on about now?
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
"a bit like best tanks, your not number 1 for that"
That implies that you think british tanks are better.
By the way, in military exercises in canada, the challenger 2, leopard 2, and abrams go up against each other every 5 years.
There hasn't been one time that the abrams has lost.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 Implies I think british tanks are better despite me saying germany was number 1?
Can you admit that americans don't do everything best militarilary? Spec ops for example.
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
And don't act like it's not a big deal, cause you KNOW if it was YOUR country, you would be bragging too.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 "Germany is number 1 for tanks." - Enjoy a quote while your brain catches up.
Special Forces not relevant? Ok, so if special forces took out a USN subamrine pen, with say 5 subs in, that is irrelevant?
Back to the original argument, its interesting to see your not discussing the issue, remember we are talking about the modernisation of military technology, I would be bragging? Look who doing it right now... Take my advice and grow up!
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
hahaha you are truly pathetic you know that? You do realize that i can see WHEN you post comments right? The comment that says "germany is number 1 for tanks" was written AFTER you said that you said it. There goes another epic fail for you.
"took out a USN submarine"
???
Last time i checked you were trying to brag to. You just didn't realize how wrong you are.
Remember, the U.S. spends FAR more on research and devolpment for it's military, so obviously we would be more advanced
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 Hey, you wanted a quote you got one...
Clearly you misunderstood my example of the role of spec ops, Me trying to brag? really?
"There is no navy in the world that can rival the USN and you idiots KNOW IT"
That looks like bragging to me..., Or are you trying to be a cocky little shit?
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
Lol you still can't admit how much you've failed.
You previously said that you had ALREADY stated that germany was #1.
Then when i ask for you to quote it, you merely typed a NEW message saying it.
Just admit you were caught in a lie.
Yes, i bragged, i never said i didn't. It was YOU who criticized ME for bragging, yet YOU yourself were trying to brag about how modern your navy is.
Now, have fun knowing the U.S. military is superior to the british military.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 After everything that has happend between us, I feel sorry for you that you cannot identify the difference between powerful military and modern military...
Anyway, I'm off to play BF3, have fun trying to satisfy your butthurt agenda.
(you can reply, but I won't bother putting down a response to someone who won't be able to understand it...)
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 You're forgetting something, which is that Britain's era of world dominance is over, so we no longer need a massive military. The US on the other hand needs to sustain world peace. So there is no comparison. It's all turned out well for Britain. If we were ever attacked, our big dumb cousins across the atlantic would show no hesitation in wiping out the attackers.
TheLiberalKnight 3 months ago
@TheLiberalKnight
First off, you can't hide the fact that the uk's military power is minuscule compared to the U.S. by saying that it doesn't dominate the world anymore. That is precisely my point.
And last time i checked it was britain who went to fight iraq at America's disposal.
Dumb cousins? LOL It must be heartbreaking to know you have to rely on "dumb" people to come and save you.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 In the Victoria age, we ruled the world. We needed a massive military. Nowadays, we don't rule the world, and don't want to. We are entering a face of foreign policy isolation. We only need a military to defend our island and overseas colonies. So a decent navy, and a decent air force. We have that. So, no problem.
Yes, dumb cousins. You exist because the British government wanted a huge population to defend us when necessary. Pilgrims.
TheLiberalKnight 3 months ago
@TheLiberalKnight
What a clown.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 No, the only reason you think that is clearly because you're a 10 year old boy. Ruling the world is not a fun thing to do. When Britain ruled the world, we had responsibilities in Asia, China, India, America, South Africa, Egypt, East Africa, Yemen, the Suez Canal, Malta, Australia, New Zealand... the list goes on. Now, we have no responsibility at all. We can focus on our own little island. You don't understand how much of a relief that is.
TheLiberalKnight 3 months ago
@TheLiberalKnight
WOW. i can't believe you're actually trying to imply that your country is better of without an empire. How hilarious...
The british empire had a financial backing in all of those places that you mentioned. Ever heard of taxes?You had control on all of the trade going on. You also had a military advantage. You also had a stronger foreign policies.
Don't kid yourself, kid.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 You are a 10 year old school boy who thinks that power is everything. When you grow up, you will realise that is not the case. The fact that you think all governments want to rule the world just proves your lack of maturity, your lack of reasoning, your lack of understanding.
Britain is poorer without the empire- who cares? A lot of that money went to administrating our colonies. When we lost America for example we became richer, because there was less land to administrate.
TheLiberalKnight 3 months ago
@TheLiberalKnight
America supplied nearly 1/3rd of the taxes to britain, before independence.
andrewm153351 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 This makes me chuckle. I have an MA in history, a degree in both modern & ancient history, and I am a professional historian. And here I am, debating a little power rangers child from America. You made so many factual errors in that comment, it was similiar to the holy bible.
TheLiberalKnight 3 months ago
@TheLiberalKnight
Wow. a person on the internet claiming that they have a degree that just happens to fit the debate on your side. How fucking convenient.
Trust me, you're not fooling anyone, i promise you.
Please explain what "factual errors" i made, because i can send sources for everything i said.
By the way, im a crime-fighting, brain surgeon with a 13 inch cock.

@andrewm153351 I'm still outstanded by your last comment. 'And the fact that you think all countries DON'T want to rule the world is extremely childish and naive.'
In fact, I'm wondering whether I should continue this conversation or not.
TheLiberalKnight 3 months ago
@andrewm153351 Seems like all I can drag from this conversation is that you don't know the difference between a modern navy and large navy... Ironic much?
ShowPolitics 3 months ago
@ShowPolitics
Don't even try to act like i didn't humiliate you in that last comment. And it seems like it's YOU who-
1. lied about saying germany was #1
2. criticize someone for bragging yet you brag yourself
3. doesn't realize that the U.S. navy is far more modern, being that we have more money for research & development.
andrewm153351 2 months ago
@andrewm153351 Well, on armoured divisions, germany is the most MODERN
On Navy, Britain is the most MODERN, why won't you accept the fact that the US is not top for everything...?
If you can't admit that, your a bit of a pathetic patriot, here - look at this website to prove it - I'll post it on your page or private message you, ok honey bun?
ShowPolitics 2 months ago
@ShowPolitics
You still haven't given any logical reasons to how the uk navy is more superior.
I still haven't got that url you speak of. I can send many urls showing the U.S. navy is the most modern.
And by the way, why would you be so proud of your navy being more modern(which it isn't) if MY navy has superior power??? At the end of the day, the US navy is the most powerful force on the planet, which deserves much more bragging rights than "most modern"
andrewm153351 2 months ago
@andrewm153351 It's difficult to send you messages when you have a friend block on private messages, a channel which is a disaster to navigate around and the fact I cannot send a URL via comment...
ShowPolitics 2 months ago
@ShowPolitics
That url shows that the virginia sub is the most advanced in the world.
andrewm153351 2 months ago
@andrewm153351 Its true when they say you learn something new every day!
I guess I didn't say I wasn't talking about subs here, oops, I was talking about battleships.
And why would you design your profile to be a disaster to navigate around? The only thing I could pull out of it, is that your a "diehard" texan, thats a pity...
ShowPolitics 2 months ago
@ShowPolitics
Go ahead and google it.
andrewm153351 2 months ago
@andrewm153351 Do you mean highlighting all the text to see what you wrote?
Not sure what you have been reading but I can assure you the type 45 is the most advanced battleship in the world.
I dont mind telling you this... Typical of a Texan to enquire about this.
ShowPolitics 2 months ago
@ShowPolitics
Yaayyyy. You now graduated basic fundamentals of how computers work. Congratulations.
Yeah and i will guarantee you that every single "source" you have that talks about the type 45 is british. Guaranteed.
Again, the type-45 is more predominantly an anti-air platform.
Only a small few will even have land tomahawk cruise missiles.
And please go and google the zumwalt destroyer. Sure, it's not out yet, but it will be, and it blows anything and everything out of the water.
andrewm153351 2 months ago
@andrewm153351 Thats a really great ship, looking forward to it, but there is the funding implications your still not getting...
ShowPolitics 2 months ago
@ShowPolitics
??? The mere fact that the zumwalt is waaaay more expensive shows how much more modern and advanced it is.
andrewm153351 2 months ago
@andrewm153351 Thats exactly what I'm talking about, It is expensive, VERY expensive, Im not debating whether it is more modern - it obviously is, the fact is, the USN put down an order for 38 of them, then slashed to 27 and then slashed again to a mere 7. Lawmakers and others have questioned whether the Zumwalt class costs too much and whether it provides the capabilities the U.S. military needs. In 2005 the Congressional Budget Office estimated the life-cycle cost of a DD(X) at $3.8–4.0bn.
ShowPolitics 2 months ago
@ShowPolitics Yup, America is poor as hell, they cannot afford much nowadays...
muthatucka91 2 months ago in playlist top ten military
@ShowPolitics
WOW. so this whole argument was about how something is more modern, and then you say that its NOT what you're talking about? Flip floppy....
Those congressional talks were about the cost, not it's total capability. There is no doubt the zumwalt is the most advanced in the world.
The U.S. has enough money for these programs. Remember, we do have the largest economy by far.
andrewm153351 2 months ago
@andrewm153351 Ironic isn't it? The largest economy with the largest debt crisis, it's ok, I don't blame you, I blame the administrations your countrymen elect, likewise here to be quite honest.
I did also say that it was a great ship and modern, not sure what you were thinking there, the cost, well, obviously that raises concerns with your government or they would not of brought up the problems in funding, if thats not a problem why did they slash the ship figures from 37 to just 7 ???
ShowPolitics 2 months ago
@ShowPolitics
Largest debt crisis? Not even CLOSE. If you knew ANYTHING about economics would have realized that the U.S. isn't even remotely on par with other countries in terms of % of debt.
Yes, we have a high total number of debt, but that's because we have the most money. What really matters is PERCENT of debt.
For instance-
Britain- 400% debt
France-182% debt
Germany-142% debt
America-99% debt.
FAIL.
Cost CAN be an issue when we're in a recession, but we're getting OUT of the recession
andrewm153351 2 months ago
@andrewm153351 400%,182, 142, 99 - not all the countries have the same GDP you know, america which has the most GDP in the world, the biggest economy and has 99% of debt? THAT is pretty shocking if you ask me, your own president admitted it... Like I said, its not your fault, your just trying to stick up for a flatlining economy, I blame the last UK government for its wild spending, now we have a government that actaully has a brain.... Its cool, don't break a sweat over it.
ShowPolitics 2 months ago
@ShowPolitics
Sorry but your understanding of economics is even worse than your understanding of military technology.
Those numbers are PERCENT of GDP, so size of economy means absolutely NOTHING.
And those were just a few examples, there are MANY MANY more that have well over 100 percent of debt.
Flattening economy? Lol our economy is growing FASTER than the uk economy, so once again, you're not making sense.
andrewm153351 2 months ago
@andrewm153351 Your economy grows faster than smaller economies, (UK) naturally, but for the biggest economy the figures are concerning for the China, Germany, France, Uk and Belguim - countries that have kindly bought a vast amount of your countries debt to stop it rolling over again, we're trying to support YOUR economy becasue if that goes over, so does the rest of the world, stop trying to think I blame you, If you think I am misguided over economics, your a Texan, that is all...
ShowPolitics 2 months ago
@ShowPolitics
ROFLMAO
andrewm153351 2 months ago
@andrewm153351 It might be wise to stop filling your comments with soundbites, Its not helping your already appauling debt crisis, $14.5 trillion, 2/3's of it, You owe to the public, you pay an appauling rate of interest on that. Im bringing up Ger, Fra, UK etc, becasue they are the ones that have bought your debt to try and balance out your economy, and the UK debt is just below a Trillion actually, so if your trying to make out the US is in a better state than the UK, try again my friend.
ShowPolitics 2 months ago
@ShowPolitics
So those countries you listed play a VERY small role in our debt.
andrewm153351 2 months ago
@andrewm153351 But the problem is those countries have bought that public debt... In fact, I think a leading economist described the UK's debt as "back from the brink", and the US debt as over the cliff and onto a mattress" (refering of course to the debt ceiling and the humilating downgrade), The fact of the matter is the US and the Eurozone countries are looming the world into another resscesion. Analysts disagree with your deficit reduction plan, and frankly, I don't blame them!
ShowPolitics 2 months ago
@ShowPolitics
"Those countries have bought that public debt"
Yes, a TINY percent of it.
Funny how you bring up our downgrading of S&P. That organization got COURT MARSHALLED for supplying fake documents and causing an uproar.
Notice how our interest rates haven't gone up one bit since it happened.
And i have sent you a message showing that the uk has far more debt in every single aspect than the US.
andrewm153351 2 months ago
@andrewm153351 Yes.... A very tiny percent, only a miniscule 42% of it...
Does it suprise you that the S&P got "Investigated" by the Obama Adminstration, the US was obviously humilated on the world stage and doesn't want to appear weak in front of financail stock markets...
Your interest rates are not supposed to be affected by this, it means your cost of borrowing soars to put a bloddy lid on your spending, A good example of this is what we are seeing in Italy at the moment.
ShowPolitics 2 months ago
@ShowPolitics
Sorry but 42% isn't anywhere close to 1/3rd.
Need the source?
andrewm153351 2 months ago
@andrewm153351 P.S. the MAJORITY of uk's debt is held by foreign investors. Need the source? - Really? You moron, every country that has big debts is obviously going to be held by foreign investors.
YOUR interest rates that you get from your bank is not affected, like YOU said to me, so either your contradicting yourself here, or you don't know the difference between borrowing rates and bank interest rates.
Oh and you can't court martial a company, I believe your quoting an angry democrat. :)

"or you don't know the difference between borrowing rates and bank interest rates"

Bushcamper4Sale 2 months ago
@Bushcamper4Sale
And again, most of our debt is held by our own citizens.
andrewm153351 2 months ago
@andrewm The largest holder of Treasuries is the Federal Reserve...yes that right Amerika has been printing money and directly monetising government expenditure. They have to to keep the interest rate down. This is the beginning of a hyperinflationary blowout and the end of Amerika. The Chinese are already scaling down their purchases and will dump the rest when the time comes. Amerika will nolonger be able to fund itself - and its banks holding this toilet paper will be bust. Game over in 20y.
Bushcamper4Sale 2 months ago
@Bushcamper4Sale I wasn't talking about treasuries but ok. Yeah, the federal reserve(which is AMERICAN) owns more Treasuries. So how does china own us again? China will never "dump the rest". That is totally absurd. Not only will it seriously inflict damage on their economy, but it will lower their own reserve system.
People have been saying "game over in 20y" for the past 50 years. It never happens.
Remember, America's economy is backed up by the largest gold stockpile in the world by far
andrewm153351 2 months ago
If the fed owns treasuries it means it is printing money for the US to live. You do know what Weimar is don't you? The chinese own you. They are playing the long game. They only have to stop buying US debt are you are finished. Whats the amerikan budget deficit again? Who are you going to borrow from when you need to rollover existing debt? American debt doesnt back the chinese currency - it suppresses its traded value. An intentional act whilst they gut your productive industry...
Bushcamper4Sale 2 months ago
@Bushcamper4Sale
There are MANY other countries who buy our debt by the way
andrewm153351 2 months ago
How much of GDP is government spending? How big is the deficit? 1.4T. 1.4T off a GDP of 14T?? Thats a laugh. Amerika will never have a balanced budget until it defaults. You have a mass of entitlement programs that just wont be payable. The chinks will use dollars until they have developed a pan asian debt market. Then they will insist on trade in Yuan. This is their plan. The dollar is dead. Amerika will fall back into its borders and live by within its means. No more BOOM BOOM 4 U !
Bushcamper4Sale 2 months ago
@Bushcamper4Sale
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
andrewm153351 2 months ago
A recession is a decline in GDP numbnuts ! This is laughable ...spending more to get out of debt problem!!No - you are destroying your currency. When the currency goes so does the empire. Do you really believe amerikans are specially anointed that they can defy economic realities? Your country is being asset stripped as we speak. The world is moving east. Amerika's era is ending. Gold wont save you. An economy is only worth its "PRODUCTIVE" capability. Remind me again what is the UStrade deficit
Bushcamper4Sale 2 months ago
@Bushcamper4Sale
No, a recession is not JUST a decline in GDP.
Recession-
"A recession is typically accompanied by a drop in the stock market, an increase in unemployment, and a decline in the housing market"
As i have already said, we devalue our dollar on PURPOSE to lower debt costs.
P.S. we still harvest nearly 1/3rd of the entire world's corn, which is probably the most important crop there is.
And actually our trade deficit is lowering. Yes, it's big, but it's still lowering.
