Hunk Williams, my only favorite country singer. I first heard of Hank's music when i was in grade school in the province of Leyte, Philippines. I'm pretty sure they're brought by the Americans there during the 1940's & 1950's. I don't know why i came to love Hank's tunes. I guess he's simply good at what he did. I remember the rice fields & the rural folks when i hear Hank's music.
its funny how they make such a big deal about michael jacksons death and prolly will for years to come! but kids today have no idea what there missing with hank and prolly never will!!! its sad that such a legend gets forgotten or not mentioned like he should be! Hank Williams will be in my life till the day i die!!!
@Hardcore614 I am currently 13 and share this account w/ family. I've heard this beautiful voice (thanks to my beloved grandpa) since the day my mother brought me home from the hospital. Forever (like you) will I love Hank Williams Sr. (and i shouldn't even have to say "Sr.") till the day I meet him on the other side.
Hank Williams is the King of Country Music, i don't care what anyone says. It's very sad that he died at such a young age, but he is still remembered. Long live the king of country music Mr. Hank Williams Sr.
I grew up listenin to ol Luke the Drifter. Funny thing is I'm only 15. Most kids my age don't know what real music is. They're listenin to rap and pop and all that mess. All I gotta say is thank God my parents and Grandparents introduced me to this kinda music at a very young age. Thanks John for uploadin this video.
I grew up with Hank. I knew Hank many many years before I knew the Beatles or any other rock band. I didn't like the Beatles then and I don't like them now.
@act6629 My friend, I like them all. I AM eclectic. There is a place for everything on this earth. Old Hank would tell you that selfsame thing. I am partial, however, to "older" country.
I am 55 years old. Went through almost every type of music possible. Was never a big country fan by any means, but do appreciate ALL kinds of quailty music. When it comes to country, I like OLD SCHOOL like this. Keep 'em comin'!

You know. I am so happy that no one copy-righted this song. You-tube has been doing that lately and it's been to lyric videos.
Nice song. Love the pictures :)

@act6629
I grew up with the Beatles and have always liked them.
But as I got older I started to like and appreciate Hank Williams and his greatness too.
There are many popular bands and artists that I don't like, but I don't believe in putting them down out of respect for those that do like them.
