I almost feel like America now uses it's army before even defining what it is that they are trying to accomplice. The mission statement seems to be "Beat the bad guys!" rather than an actual goal, just sayin...

when you think about it, the countries that have won wars without SOME form of aid can be counted on one hand, especially if you subtract the conquerors. america won the revolutionary war with only slight help from the french and the native americans, and we've been the saving grace of many many countries. as for entering WW2 late, every country will have moments where their leaders, and even the entire nation, have been ignorant of the true danger. pearl harbor knocked us out of that stupor.

I do recall the fact that one of the greatest presidents in US history, Abraham Lincoln was a republican. Personally I am republican but i am not a bush fan. Nor am I an Obama fan for that matter. But I believe that religion is much more supported by republicans than democrats and yes i'm Christian.

Not rushing to attack, no. Figure out who our enemies are, and how best to defeat them, rather than attacking various countries and dropping many bombs on innocent people. If we do that then we are no better than the Taliban.

We bomb more innocent then bad, not so much our solder's fault, they're just doing their jobs. But and comparing our bombing of innocents with theirs is not a good parallel to draw. We are supposed to be the good guys, the ones who come to help, but most don't see us as that after we accidentally kill their families.
