They all have tiger loaded on aswell and only one wont boot up !!

Just waiting on some mice to arrive from on kong, give them a polish and back on ebay !! happy christmas to me.

i had one of these in orange won it tobad the video card died after 4 years i even tryd to get it fixd but after 3 weeks it died again i got as far as booting and then it shut down i even upgradid it before it died to mac os 9 it had 8.5 i want it back so bad i loved starting her up and get that sound lol the game selection in the 90's wher not that big for the mac so i got me an pc i miss my ppc imac g3 =(

Woww!! Thats an old Mac!! Mac OS 8 hahaha!! What are you going to do with it? I understand you didnt buy it, it was an exchange for doing some work but I find versions of Mac OS lower than X to be rather useless... I have a Power Mac G3 that has Mac OS 9.2 and I find myself looking around for what to do on it, its more than 10 years old and still fully works!!

And that particular imac only supports 8 gig partitions so ur gonna need a 120 gig hdd and its gonna have like 14 partitions....The only imac that supports 1 gig of ram and a 120 gig hdd without partitions is the 400 mhz slot loading and over! and the 400mhz has a DVD drive too

Not true.. There is a program called Xpostfacto which over rides this..

Yes but XpostFacto still makes it so you have to have 2 partitions when there is no point, besides for 20-30 dollars he can get a slot loading Imac G3 DV SE graphite and be better off not going through the xpostfacto trouble

Actually you don't you install xpostfacto on os 9 and install os x using it you can make it one large hard drive.
