i have yet to master some of Fox's harder combos, like the reflector+wavedash+reflector,e­tc...and the repetitive dair+reflector on the ground. i think that's all, everything else i'm pretty fair with. i still need practice though lol. i would love to compete one day.

just to maybe help you a litt.e

the reflector+wavedash+reflector is called waveshining incase u ever look it up.

For practice just practice against link in training mode, i did that for a day or 2 and got it down to the point it works on humans.

It's not as useful as it seems. Practice reflector->wavedash->upsmash more.

and the dair+reflector is just d-air(lcancel'd) and then immediately reflector, pretty easy to get down.

I'm pretty sure its a variant of the marth killer, if you dont know its when you light shield marths upb, the impact causes you to grab the edge for a edgehog, guess since he was facing forward it works like your standing? idk.

Since it makes you fall, before taking the edge you may shine before Fox grabs the edge.

Or maybe it's a JC shine done real fast.

If you're on the edge, and tilt your shield towards the endge, then if a character hits you, it pushes you off the edge and you grab the ledge. You can shine before grabbing the edge, however.

Main who you like playing as, not who's highest tier. The metagame has yet to develop, so it's too early to decide which characters are best and which are worst. Besides, the tiers are looking to be a hella lot closer than Melee's. If your main happens to have some bad matchups with popular characters, pick a secondary to make up for those shortcomings.

Doesn't mean you can't get better! I've improved more so in the past month and a half than I have the rest of my time playing smash. It's just how you are able to practice and apply yourself. With the right kind of training, anyone (who can use their fingers with decent hand/eye coordination) can get good at this game. Don't give up just because it seems a little intimidating! You'd be surprised how you more than likely could get this good with time. =D
