  • wow

  • I just LOVE that guy shouting "Oh my god!" when you play that chord at 0:54 ! Hilarious xD

  • you could chew those closing chords - mmmmm I do like them crunchy sometimes!

  • Another nice improv. So glad that Marcel Dupre (the original Consultant) insisted the organ be placed on the West End gallery. If you're there in person this organ really 'powers' its way down the nave. There is nothing else like it in England. A little bit of France in London..........

  • 54 : Oh my god! John, you are just hillarous!!!

  • lol @ :54

  • Devin, make more videos like this!!! I love this one!!!!!!!!!

  • Westminster Cathedral organ is know for its pristine voicing. I went to the John Scott recital in 2008 and I have to say, the voicing could rival those of continental organs. It has amazing tone colours. I nearly got the oppitunity to play there, but sadly it was double booked and it was canceled. Brilliant improvisation by the way! there is some really good writing in there. with a few tweaks it would make a great composition!

  • WOW!!! That organ sounded great!!! those flutes sound great and so do the Tumpets.

  • brilliant!! This is one of the most fantastic instruments in the country, although not the largest it is one of the loudest acoustic wise, its just fantastic to play!

  • Again the organ loft was dark during my visit to the Cathedral. This is one of the great Willis Organs
