I counted the inversions. there are ten. 9 in you subtract the inverted curve. But, it certainly has more inversions than any coaster in the United States. So I wouldn't complain. looks like a fun ride to me.

What the park means is that THIS model of roller coaster appears in the Guiness Book! They only specify Colossus because it was the first one to be built! This is NOT a unique design, it is a mass produced model like the Boomerangs and the Corkscrews! So technically the sign is correct!

That's an exact replica of Thorpe Park's Collosus. England had this ride first. Remember that it's not a new thing. These chinese can't afford to design something themsevles because they spend their money on copper and flats. If you truely want the thrill go to Thorpe Park.

This is just a model made by Intamin. They can decide where to put a model. In this case they placed Collosus and Chime Long Paradise. So whatever. If you take a better look in some amusement parks you'll eventually find the same rides. For example the model Boomerang made by Vekoma. There are over 50 of these placed around the world. Who cares, it's a good ride and rather cheap. Another model that is very popular is the model Batman the Ride made by B&M. It has also been placed multiple times.

They did'nt "copy" colossus, the designer is intamin of germany....same designers as colossus. This one and colossus are'nt the only ones either, it's an "off the shelf" 10 inversion model,the first one of which was in a park in brasil, colossus was #2 and this one(I believe)#3

This one is horrible though. Colossus at least has theming & was designed for Thorpe, the way it weaves in & out of the path/queueline, goes underneath the shop is great! This coaster is ugly.

Also, the no. of inversions on coasters is no. of track inversions, not how many times the cars go upside down. So the record is still 10.

They did not steel it. It was an existing intamin layout, the ride was called monte mayaka and was in brazil. Intamin added two extra inline twists to a new model for thorpe and that made it ten inversions. this ride is the same model, it is just an intamin coaster so stop calling it stolen. all slc's are the same bar jubilee odysee and kumali so why is this situation any different

You've got your models mixed up. SLC's are inverted models. Thorpe still holds the record for the most inversions on a roller coaster and will do until someone does an 11 inversion version.
