His mad dreams and the realities of what the Holocaust would be come was unknown to everyone in 1933. At the time, he was all for "getting Germany on the right track." Seems to me when he took the unemployment rate from high numbers to low numbers and allowed people to be able to feed their families again, the last thing on anyone's mind was whether or not he had too much power in 1933.

In the eyes of most Germans, he had a positive impact early on, as long as those Germans were not calling for elections, Jewish, or opposed his rule. Nearly every single picture taken from this period has been analyzed by many people many times. If you look hard on the internet you can find info about most of them. 4 pics were taken by Auschwitz inmates with a smuggled camera. There are a few pics of this period, but very few.

I'm not Muslim but if you study it, I think you'll find the same. One thing to remember - it was the Muslims in Albania that protected Jews from the Nazis during World War II. @MrBRITBRIGHT ...I don't need to deny that it was Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel who gave a speech at the opening of the Holocaust Museum and Memorial in Washington DC who, with then Presdent Bill Clinton sitting right behind him, was very blunt and called out to President Clinton by name to do something to stop the killing of Muslims in the Balkans. Problem is that the Quran is written in Arabic and only 20% of Muslims are Arabs. Many Muslims in the world don't even read Arabic. Because of this, you run into situations where people are "interpreting" the Quran and put their own spin on it. This is called radicalism.

Understandably, everyone has their opinions. I do not care if you are from a German background, American, Mexican, etc. The point is, no one deserved this suffering. The German people's mistake (I hesitate to say "crime") was they allowed their government to have too much power, the power to barge into someone's house and haul them away without any transparency or accountability. This is how 1 person can get total power and execise bad decisions on everybody else. @fizzle32 Can't say for sure but it seems to me that Germany was in an economic spiral when Hitler came in. His mad dreams and the realities of what the Holocaust would be come was unknown to everyone in 1933. At the time, he was all for "getting Germany on the right track." Seems to me when he took the unemployment rate from high numbers to low numbers and allowed people to be able to feed their families again, the last thing on anyone's mind was whether or not he had too much power in 1933.

@kg02170 Yes - that's part of it. If he had avoided several other errors that he made, I think you are probably correct. In the eyes of most Germans, he had a positive impact early on, as long as those Germans were not calling for elections, Jewish, or opposed his rule. When he started in on the Jews, that's where I think he started on the gradual road to hell. Then the invasion of Poland. If he had kept his mouth shut and not invade other countries, I think you are absolutely correct.

I can just picture HItler's reaction when some group calls for elections. I am a Christian believer and I have no doubt that the Nazis exterminated Jews. I come from Europe and this is a well-known, undeniable fact of life.
