  • I wanted to also clarify that broken capillaries show up as red or pink veins on the skin. Pertaining to the facial peel mushroom protein, consumer advocate, paula begoun, has said that she believes that the exfoliatation is due to the exfoliating beads and not the protein as not much research has been done on the former. With regard to glycolic acid, please be aware that one shouldn't use more than 10-12% from over-the-counter (otc) products or too much irritation and/or damage may occur.

  • Thank you so much for the reviews! A word to the wise about a thermal (heat) skin treatment that if there is too much heat on the skin, broken capillaries (tiny blood vessels at the ends of arteries) may occur. With regard to the astringent, as you seem to realize, they tend to have irritating ingredients such as alcohol, menthol, camphor, mint, clove and/or eucalyptus.

  • I'm 20 and I use anti wrinkle its never a bad thing to be preventive
