yes they do i have anther late 70s early 80s edsion with metel back, plastic blades, then i have 50s 60s wizard, ALL metal, then 7inch rexray "rexall drug" fan all metal also

Very nice small boxfan! Never seen that blade style on those, usually they have four metal blades.
You may want to consider holding the camera to the side, out of the air blast - then we could actually hear the fan itself.
