Overeem was clearly robbed in this match. Bonasky was completely dominated. His only good point was one knockdown, while Overeem landed a steady succession of head punches, takedowns, knees and was generally dominant. This was clearly champion bias. Shame.

Look at the fight again and you'll se that Alistair dictated the fight all the time, and he had a knockdown at the end of the second round which was also not counted. @kljeten Are you serious? Yes, Overmeem was more dominant but he made hardly any good points. And in case you didn't know, throwing is not part of K1. Alistair was and is a great fighter but this fight is won by Bonjasky.

It should at least of been a draw. Bonjasky was being bullied, getting hit constantly and not landing much of anything except for the beginning of the second round and the end of the third round.

Can you tell me what your scorecard was for this fight? I'm just curious.

@GroteSmellysmelly the match may have been won by bonjasky, i dont think bonjasky would fair well in a fight. Alistair would smash him. Not counting the punch that dropped remy was ridiculous. A couple of Remy's falls were his own fault, granted Alistair did throw him around. Remy fighting Overeem with MMA rules - the fight wouldnt see the second round. Alistair is a much better fit for MMA, his clinching and throwin instincts are too strong for kickboxing. K-1 Judges are very biased, no doubt

@kljeten Alistair is a much better fighter, Bonjasky won due to biased judges and loop holes. He didnt beat reem. Not counting Alistair's knockdown was robbery. I'd love an explanation as to why ref waived that shit off. MMA is a better fit for Alistair, his clinching and throwing instincts are a little too strong for K-1's rules. K-1 officials, refs, judges, etc don't want to let go of their old heroes and champions. They don't want an MMA fighter coming in there and giving it to their guys.
