Find a likely looking sucker in the crowd (preferably some really tall, conspicuous guy walking in the same direction as you are). Follow this sap as closely as possible without it being noticeable/weird. Since everyone'll homing in on the guy in front of you, they won't have time to reload/reoffer a flyer to you.
There you go! The poor bastard in front of you will come out with more papers than the TA of a Writing II class and you escape scot free!

The REAL way to avoid flyers on bruinwalk:
