I know everyone's different and everyone's taste in music is different, but for me this song is as close to perfect as I've ever heard. Been totally in love with it since the first time I heard it before the album came out, and even now get a craving to listen to it just about every week.
This is the best recollection of the lyrics I have found. The person who came up with them had listened to some studio records to hear them clearer, so I'm convinced they are very close to the actual lyrics even though at times it's difficult to hear them right.
"I see you in open eyes I seek and find some things whole The dreams are back And I'm remembering Lost myself in you today Lost myself in every way I see your love in all you do I see myself in you The story goes on and on Here in the woods, now my friends See you there, hang a ribbon on a branch Feel my feet on the soil Free of trouble, free from it all"
You see Aerial come alive So see care and find somthings whole Trees aren't bad Lost myself in you today Lost myself in every way I see your love in all you do I see myself and you The story goes on and on Here in the woods, Now my friends See you there hang a ribbon on a branch Feel my feet on the soil Free of trouble, Free from it all
Feel the air under your feet, There a cool breeze over me First steps you take are the best that you make Never alone, Always awake Key to a bridge, Open the door So many more, Down you fall Here in the woods, Now my friends See you there hang a ribbon on a branch Feel my feet on the soil Free of trouble, Free from it all. Together we can, Together I am My world is my home
Respect !!!!!! Simon n Benji lift the band (yes...you can call it a band now) to another level. a smooth blend of instrumental electronica with the right psy touch in it =] just perfect!!!
Usually vocals bug me in electronic or electronic/fusion music but this is a great example of how it can work amazingly well. This song and the album it's from is an example of expressive electronic music can be and will no doubt be seminal in its influence for future composers and musicians.
This album gives us music with a richness and depth to keep the ears and the soul satisfied while showing the potential well composed electronic music has for those who would listen.
IMO one of the best 'psybient' tracks ever. Near Shpongle's behind closed eyelids, DMT; Alan Parsons' return to Tunguska; Idyllic life by Easily Embarassed...
Big respect for artists which contribute in younger brother project.
They need more songs like this. I like any sound they do and have the flock of bleeps cd but sounds nice this way too. Their rehersels should be on cd. Colours.
I disagree but think they're awesome anyway. But no, it wont. If anything related to Simon Posford would be regarded as that, it would probably be Shpongle, and Hallucinogen is credited with kick-starting the psy revolution (from goa trance)

Tripping^. And I'd say Psychic Gibbon. This one seems a bit melancholic to me and always has. But it has a sort of happy vibe

I've had this song for a while and I can't help but hear a resemblance to Pink Floyd. The style, the guitar.

no1 has deciphered the mistery yet...
no1 could put down the full lyrics of that song...
i think he sings :
"take it where we can
take it where i am
the world is my home..."
it also sounds like:
"together we can
together i am
the world is my home..."
