I have mixed feelings about this flick. I'm a huge Terminator fan, and I enjoyed it to an extent but it didn't help that Bale had that infamous meltdown that will always be associated w/ T4. After u watch iit a couple of times the continuity errors @ the end become distracting (Marcus jumping down in the dissection room shot up by the T-600 BEFORE that scene takes place etc). It kills me that we live in a day & age for a potentially epic Terminator sequel & no one is stepping up to the plate : /

Becouse the company that made this film did not make the money they needed or wanted from this film. Aperntly any more sequels they make they say will be cartoon or animated versions. It's not official they will make animated sequels though. The sequels still could look real if the film makers change there minds

Well, it seems like a lot of people are complaining (on YouTube at least) that they didn't like it because Arnold wasn't in it. But that's stupid. Arnold fulfilled his purpose in the original Terminator and T2. The story was NEVER about his character. It was about humanity's battle for survival against Skynet. This movie takes place in 2018, during the war against Skynet. It wouldn't have made any sense to have Arnold in it.

As a big fan of 1 & 2 i was really disappointed.

Half of scenes were in daylight. I remember exactly that Kyle say'd that terminators could be attacked only in night.

That is what the real story is about, anyway. It's about Kyle Reese and John Connor fighting Skynet. It was all over the news. They didn't wanna give Cameron creative control over what was HIS BABY, so to speak. They had an auction for the Terminator right and Cameron and Schwarzenegger weren't invited. So, when it came time to make T3, Mario Kassar had the control and he thought he could tell Cameron what to do. So, then, Cameron basically dropped out of the whole project.

I guess from what Arnold said, the rights for T3 went for 500 thousand. Cheap? Not cheap enough for Fox.

@billybobboberson Well no, they wouldn't shoot those scenes just for that purpose, it costs money, especially for CGI, even more if the built that terminator coming out of the water. That scene of the terminator coming out of the water is in the movie in the extended version. I don't remember the Arnold picking up the gun scene at the end though so maybe I'll look for that next time I watch it.
