  • I went to a dealership the other day to look at one of these. I liked what I saw but I could have liked it more if there was no chrome plastic incorporated into it, as I saw with the cup holder. I also didn't care for the hard material used with the dashboard. At 6'2" I didn't care much for the way the seat held my bod and the look out the front window seemed kind of weird, too. On top of those things, the dealership had a very fat price tag on it. Nice vehicle but chrome plastic is a deal break

  • I have one; such an amazing car.

It's surprisingly well built and refined.

  • styling is poor

  • its overly priced

  • its nice for environmentalist, but it looks kind of crappy in my opinion but its nice that gm trying to solve this suv fuel economy compromise

  • I LIKE IT 4 THE WIFE....

  • can the terrain tow a car cuz i dont see a tow connection in the back???

  • 4 cyl. 2.4L can 1,500lb. towing.

The V6 Direct Injection 3.0L 3,500lb towing (small boat or so)

Look up "Lead Engineer Tim Herrick on the GMC Terrain" on Youtube.

  • it tow

  • Dudes take it easy, a nice smaller but gutsy looking suv. Just what I was looking for actually to replace my aging Ford Exp sport. I may buy it.

  • "claiming" ahah what you dont trust GM marketing ahah

  • it sure is an aggressive looking turd then....

  • Why are a porcupine and a

    BMW different?

The BMW has the prick inside!

I hope you live in Germany, Turd!

  • Its about time. I was wondering when this was coming out.

  • Well this is car is ok....but me personally, i would not buy, i mean c'mon it's basically a smaller version of the yukon...my advice is stop wasting government money on shit like this.

  • I like how it looks from the front but I think it's too boxy at the sides. But it seems to be getting good mileage, low 20s, and the interior's got a similar layout as the CTS. I think it's not too bad. A lot of new GM vehicles are really nice.

  • Poor GM!

They're definitely running out of ideas!

Why build two versions of the same vehicle?

    Sorry people.

I think we'll have to give GM more of our TAX MONEY!

  • yeah , the manages dont have there heads screwed on right

  • we will see whats happens later

  • I think the car looks nice. I hope that General Motors can recover though.

  • So tell me... why is GM wasting money building both a Chevy and GMC version of this car?

    Dear GM,

    KEEP IT SIMPLE, STUPID!

This is just going to be another waste of resources for GM. Just pick the best body style of the two and kill the other.

  • This is a very common practice among companies (Ford Taurus/Mercury Sable, Fusion/Milan, Escape/Mariner, Escalade/Yukon etc..) The purpose is to gain Market share of a particular class of motor vehicles. If people like the Equinox then they will get it, if they like the Terrain they'll get that..either way the money and market share is in GM's pocket. It's a very effective business model

  • @spaceballs07 At least someone sees the bigger picture

  • Its Great... GO GENERAL MOTORS :)

  • wow low 20s i thought it was going to cost like 30s

  • Ya that's a pretty good price considering the fuel economy.

  • looks like a great SUV,though. :)

  • The tail lights look like they're from a Buick Rendezvous........

  • explain to me how is that a cross over? its boxy shape makes it a SUV

  • its the motor size as well dude.

  • Looks nice...but, I think, GM needs to change the rear!

  • boo!

  • I think the rear looks like a buick rendevouz

  • Its alright, i wouldnt say i wouldnt drive it. But it does remind me of the Aztec....

  • I like the girl

  • nice car quality wise. But just not my taste, I'll wait for the Pontiac variant to come out.

  • Pontiac is not going to have one. Pontiac is just going to sell niche cars

  • well that's cool to. If all of Pontiac cars will be as good as the G8, then bring it on.

  • GM = THE FARTHEAT OF AMERICA

  • The rear end could look better

  • Ehhh ... no thanks.

  • dude, this SUV is ugly, whats wrong with GM, are they fuckin blind?

  • GM rocks!!!!! Sweet features on that GMC.

  • i am pretty much done with all the SUV and Trucks by now. Time for something else, this is getting old. 30 mpg, not bad, but nothing amazing.

  • The car of an impotent man.

  • Stole lincoln taillights, those bastards.

  • A unique look on the road for sure, that is the best thing you can say bout how ugly the styling is

  • dude this car is only good looking from that one angle in the video, from every other angle its disgusting

  • if it really is 30 mpg, that is awesome. I would get that. but im too young to drive.

  • They going to make a something that looks like a skate board shoe on steroids, instead of H3, sigh, wimper

  • me and my auto tech class are going there tuesday!! GRRR~!!!

    c/o 2010

  • Was the GM design team fired before the CEO?

  • 1st gen Vue with crazy smile?...

  • It's a cute mini-Yukon!

  • if you use the word "cute" to describe car dont buy it LOL

  • Of course the satire wasn't seen there...

But what about the VW Bug, Scion xB, and Dodge Neon - Many of my friends bought them just because of the 'Cuteness Factor'

  • Just another example:

    Garbage

    Made

    Carefully

  • God that thing is ugly. The rear end makes me think of the first generation Saturn Vue.

  • fuck that thing is hideous, if they want to get out of fucking bankruptcy they need to make something that doesent look like such a peice of shit, but the gas mileage is very nice!!!

  • wow the language but i agree with you !

  • ugly my 05 envoy looks way better

  • typical gm vehicle. big, heavy gas guzzler that no one will buy. no wonder they are bankrupt

  • 30 mpg isnt a gas guzzler dumbshit

  • it isn't getting what they claim it is. bitch boy

  • I don't like the taillights

  • Terrain?! With a front as low as that, it'd probably barely make it over speed bumps.

  • If GM wants more power without sacrificing fuel efficiency,it must offer a Diesel option. GM makes great looking SUVs, but what kills them in the market is the power plant. In an SUV or a crossover a four cylinder is not enough. GM V6 engines are not that inspiring either. A optional Diesel (preferably with a turbo) would allow them to compete better. These engines are already available to GM Europe. Bring them over and built on their success.

  • Sad thing is most americans wouldn't even buy a diesel engine if i was offered.

  • Right now, probably not b/c it's still cheaper to buy Gas. Here in California, auto dealer were not allowed to sell Diesel cars (excluding trucks) until a couple of years ago. My only hope is to make that option available to people. I think if people see the fuel millage, they will take a second look at Diesel option. Thank you for the response

  • hey at least they're stepping up the badge engineering. it looks nothing like the equinox or srx.

but i still dont understand why gmc needs to exist

  • GMC trucks are big sellers.

  • silverado sells more than the sierra.

  • Badge Engineering at its best. This is one of the reasons why GM is going to go bankrupt.

  • i like the styling, think it will do well.
