  • swing tackle = hack free against you dumbass

  • worse video to show how to tackle, the swing tackle will get you sent off at ANY level! it dangerous jheeze who is this guy?

  • you all forgot something!!!

you can easily chip or pass the ball, or if you have any hockey skill atall you could dribble through that... i know i can, and im 12

  • The only way you swing like that is as a last resort, which will get you sent off as you would surely hit the opponents stick.

  • if u use swing tackles, the referee will be mad. he will say youre to agressive and stuff. i have a lot of experience with it

  • But I think the swing would get u a yellow card

  • Just do a block tackle... No??? Haha r what u showed us hacking tho

  • sorry, but it is not a best way to teach tackleing.SWING TACKLE IS BLUNDER AND TACKLE FROM LEFT IS TERRIBLE. Gurdeep singh Grewal

  • Some of the terminology is terrible. Forehand stick?

If you get me out there I would be happy to do a few coaching sessions on your behalf.

  • This really is terrible, the "swing" tackle or whatever he calls it is pretty much guarenteed yellow card offence, it's dangerous and stupid.

  • this sucks

  • uhhh i believe one of your tips is called hacking... and that is illegal

  • you shouldn't play hockey on grass

    you play it on astro

  • @BENOVAable man if we dont have astro truf then how ll we play on astro

btw am talking about india :p

  • where are you from.. Trinidad or Jamaica?

  • @sonofakbar why does it matter ?

  • @music2luv33 its just a question. i don't see that its that unusual to ask. have you never asked anyone... "so... where you from?" There is an Accent. I am from the Caribbean so I thought I recognized it. Belize or GUYANA then is my guess... but whatever. ... INS coming lol

  • @sonofakbar oh, okay whatever.

  • With the reverse stick tackle, you want to be nearly 99% sure that you are actually going to get the ball; the technique you show leaves you exposed to having your stick kicked out of the way, or at least the attacker will simply side step around you and be off, plus you are now down on one knee and can't get up and back to continue the pressure...

  • I understand that this is just an introduction to tackling, but some of what you are describing leads to very bad habits.

You should only ever poke tackle when the ball is NOT on the attackers stick, otherwise you are exposing yourself too much and the attacker will move easily around you.
