  • I don't understand why people insist on this being played so fast. I like this interpretation very much. :)

  • Valentina Lisitsa is 100x better...

  • @daytonmlivingston Agreed. Not to say he isn't good.

  • it is a freaking hard piece. my forearms always get burnt out!!! has anyone got any advice???

  • SUPERB ,******

  • Pianistas ñoños matados, No importa si es o no fácil o dificil, es una gran obra del Mtro. Chopin. La discusión sería quien los contrata a ustedes???? para tocar esa pieza

  • @jpablocazars jajaja toda la razón :D

  • good playing... but don't rush the last flutters at the end...

  • i can't memorize this stupid piece :( i've been playing it for 4 months i think.

  • thet is not stupid piece. that is one of the greatest etudes.

you can write more beautiful if don't like that

  • Come on! You know what he meant. Ha ha ha!

  • I also found it is very difficult to memorize it because of the tonality with flats...

  • i agree. this piece while not as difficult as some of the others took me forever to memorize. I must've played it for an hour every day for about a month for me to finally memorize it.

  • I'm playing this music :)

    I love it *.*

  • No, you hate it, it's really dificult xD

    Love ya abeelles ^^

  • Can I please have this sheet music!!!!!

  • umm..ok i know that the original is really fast, but i like the slower version.i think it's too fast, i can't enjoy the final :S

  • what do you mean the original? :L

  • probably the maestro is playing this etude in it's original tempo...and i like it better when it is a little bit slower

  • oh ok :D

  • ^-^

  • This is one of the best modern versions of this etude (I like the tempo very much) but also very weak when compared to Francis Plante.

  • this pianist has a very good sense of music and a very clear technique, not to mention huge hands...

Although... I kinda prefer this etude just a bit faster, still this is a great performance!

  • iv'e tried this and my wrists ache too much even though i make a conscious effort to relax, is it played with the arm weight method?

  • god i want to learn this

  • sounds like ragtime

  • not really

  • wow how fast...what a technique :D

i'm playin it, also, but not as fast as you. brilliant :D

  • other than 25/1 what is the easiest chopin etude?

  • this one. and op.10 no.3 is easy if you ignore the middle part

  • If you think any of them are easy then you are not playing them correctly.

  • Or you have an unrivaled ability in Piano Playing... Or you're comparing it to the Other Etudes in Opus 25, where this one does come across as one of the easier ones once the Chords are learned(and practiced over, and over, and over)

  • None...

  • i spent 3 months learning op.25 no.1, yet it only took me two weeks to learn this one . Difficulty is all relative, allthough i hear that op.10 no.9 is one of the easier ones along with the black key etude

  • @scandenavius AGREED! I am learning op10 no. 1 as well, and op 25#12, and am moving along a lot faster on the latter. There are some things that just refuse to stay in one's fingers.... but I am also a miserable pianist, which might explain that ;-)

  • im going to go learn this. will report back whe i do. over and out.

  • Wow!!! Very original interpretation! Where it would be too obvious to go loud...you go soft...amazing!

  • grat job! i would give you 5 stars!

  • that etude is not easy at all
