  • Well said after all these years!

  • It was a legitimate concern. Anyone who claims to believe that a foreign head of state is infallible should be disqualified to hold any public office in the US. Kennedy was Catholic, and one of the tenets of that faith is that a foreign head of state is infallible. That's not the case with Jews, or Quakers, etc. I want to know anyone running for president puts the US constitution, and his oath to it, above all else.

  • Coming from the 3rd world I really view the world from the 4th dimension looking in

  • I'm not a Christian, but JFK is my hero.

  • 51 years later after this brilliant response to the religion problem and we have this douche bag: watch?v=0PAJNntoRgA

  • Black ops anyone ?

  • Are you sure this fellow was American ?

  • watch any "debate" on tv between a liberal and a conservative and i will GUARANTEE you will see the following:

    1. conservative makes a reasoned and logical point.

    2. liberal responds by attacking the conservative personally ("racist!") and then changing the subject.

    3. repeat 1 & 2 until time runs out.

liberals argue like women do. emotionally and without logic.

this is a FACT. watch for yourself. any channel. CNN, MSNBC, FOX, NBC, ABC, CBS. any channel.

    liberalism is a mental disorder.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood Sounds like Sean Hannity talking to someone, talks over them for ten minutes and then the time is up.

  • the sooner you realize this is not about Democrat vs Republican, but about liberal vs conservative, the sooner you will understand what this is all about.

America was founded on a SMALL federal govt with the majority of the power granted to the STATES (the people). there was ZERO taxation.

the liberals have expanded the federal govt and now seek to chip away at individual freedoms. they constantly lie, scheme, manipulate, and distort the truth to get what they want.

  • Has Joe Biden ever commented on his confession?

  • well... he got carisma.....

  • JFK = BOGUS CATHOLIC.

  • It's the people who are fucked up not the politicians. They have to kiss ass and reassure voters, no wonder pressing issues are never dealt with.

  • it's interesting how "the spread of communism" and other countries losing respect for our "power" were issues then and now...only difference is that "communism" has become "terrorism".

  • If we default on the debt, then interest rates go thru the ceiling.

  • A candidates political views are more important than Religious. We as Americans are supposed to believe in a SEPARATION of CHURCH and STATE, to bad the majority of this country doesn't believe in that separation because religion is the root of a lot of evil in this world.

  • no, you can't be a liberal(atheist) and a Christian at the same time anymore...Mainly because liberal beliefs are AGAINST the Bible....the term roman catholic doesn't mean anything to God...You have to believe in His Word....Saying you are a professional athlete doesn't make you one...Jesus called the religious leaders 'blind guides and hypocrites' because they did what kennedy did---major in the minors when it came to obeying God's Word...

  • @76reliant powerful.

  • He was a catholic!? Oh shit! I am so proud to be a catholic, now!

  • you can be Catholic and liberal, its not impossible, i am. i have my religion but i also have my own political beliefs.

  • were NO religious body seeks to impose ITS will upon the general populous.Thank you JFK and America.

  • same thing President Obama seem at the beginning of his presidency. What a shame we can't stop reliving the pass and move on.

  • I'm a lefty and I'm Catholic and JFK is one of my heroes.

  • @hopkins4545 No, you're not. If you think the Democrat party is a 'lefty' party, you're mistaken. America is very right wing country. Your standards of left wing are centralist, essentially. That's just a cultural thing. In real left wing politics, people accept that religion is the worst thing to happen to the human race.

  • @ToaJoe That's common elitist secular bullshit. If you want to check out some REAL leftists, go look up Father Daniel Berrigan, Oscar Romero, Dorothy Day, Cesar Chavez--ya know, all those revolutionary CATHOLICS. Religion isn't the worst thing that ever happened to the world--what nonsense. So easy to say that, isn't it? Capitalism under the GUISE of religion is the worst thing that ever happened to the world. Maybe you should read a book.

  • @hopkins4545 What an absoloute joke. Is your idea of the left wing simply being opposed to Vietnam, or supporting civil rights? Mr. Romero denounced marxism. Ms. Day didn't even know what marxism was. Since they were catholics, I am automatically going to presume they were against the use of condoms, against homosexuals and against athiesm. That automatically makes them right wing.

You don't know what religion is. You can't have 'light' religious people. It is a force of disgusting evil.

  • @ToaJoe The people you're referring to engaged in more leftist activity and lived with their faces in the mud than most of your chic leftist idols who teach at universities and wouldn't get their hands dirty with the poor if they were buried with them, buddy. And a definite negative to both of your questions. Day considered homophobia a sin, Romero was a Liberation Theologian (meaning he accepted Marxism as a matter of course). You're only working with intellect here.

  • @hopkins4545 There you have it- Day was homophobic, therefore he's not left wing.

You don't understand what left wing ideology means, I'm afraid. There's a difference between being left wing and supporting civil rights. William Wilberforce, for example, was a vocal supporter of the abolition of slavery in the 1800's, yet he belonged to the Tory party (that's the main right wing party in my country). It doesn't make him a left winger to support civil rights.

  • @hopkins4545 Dorothy Day was a woman. You're not engaging in a debate here, you're throwing stones because you have no clue who the hell these people are. Yeah--Martin Luther King Jr was a devout Baptist preacher, his entire belief system and behavior was Biblically based, and wait a minute--did he help very significantly end segregation? What is your definition of a leftist--a guy who with wire rimmed glasses and a copy of Property is Theft? Rather narrow, methinks.

  • @hopkins4545 ITS MAKES HIM A CHICKEN WINGER.......

  • Most of the comments here praise Kennedy's stance but I bet most of these commentators would still flip shit if a Muslim or Atheist were put in office. America has not learned anything from it's past.

  • He is such an eloquent speaker and wise man.

  • I hold a different viewpoint from the person below. How can he be a hypocrite? Did he says he was a Holy man foresworn to a sexless life? DId he raise monies while telling those who would listen that he was a Holy man that a benevolent G-d favored? However, he was a man born with human failings and to suffer like all humans suffer while on earth. Ultimately, he gave his life while serving the country he loved. For that alone, we should respect his memory & forgive his human failings.

  • @zaq423 very well put.

  • Comment removed

  • Catholic Cult!

  • JFK promised to not allow his catholic faith into the oval office, and boy did he ever deliver !!!

    -----------------------

Oh Marylin I love your hot ass so much oooooh baby !!!! XOXOXOX

  • I sure hope the church shows me or my children how to act or they could end up molesting little boys after being told that they can't get married!!

  • @jojojosmart every religion has black marks but the main views shouldnt be lost

  • @hankdablonde -please list those main views for me.

  • Religion is the Devil

God is Love and that is all he will accept of men and its all he ever asked of men.

until you do that and live in it all other religion is just a human fantasy of perverse imaginations.

    Religion is spiritual masturbation.

    only love does Gods will.

  • @stevenstreets3 Well said.

  • @stevenstreets3

Your right, however religion is not the devil, its rules with lost meaning or division amongst one another that is our devil.

  • @boris1010 Yeah the real devil is just plain old self importance. Religious is FULL of itself always playing God. I have suffered too much from my own Catholic Church in life. From the abuse years ago to the recent promise to arrest me for trespassing if i even sing a Xmas hymn on my home church steps.

The gospel thesis is that Religion murdered Gods own Son. Jesus said they would do worse things to us. He only suffered for one day. I've suffered the church for the length of Jesus lifetime

  • @stevenstreets3 However, the acts of a few should not reflect the many, there areReligious people whoAre very good and reasonable and in tune with true religion andThen there are badPeople however much they claim toBe religious you reallyNeed to separate the two.If you read it closely, the fact that Jesus was crucified, was not mainly out ofReligious belief, but out of fear and the weakness of humanity. What you do dayToDay will make you a good person or it will not, and good religion will help that.

  • @boris1010 This country and its gold and silver standard constitution out shine every religion that man ever imagined. I experienced more love as un-aborted navy orphan from birth, raised in the Air force, than any religion is will to extend to me as a Catholic priests sex abuse victim. Thats the real Cross. The only place i can swear I know God is most certainly there is the Air Force Academy. Love doesn't need religion. Jesus never said love religion. He said hate your own religious life.

  • @stevenstreets3 "He said Hate you own religious life"for some reason I think I wont find that anywhere even in an allegorical manner lol.Now I'm not saying your not a good person because your not religious,I would never say that,I can't say that,I don't know any thing about you,but your Constitution, should have came from people who valued goodness, and so did commandments, and religious scriptures. One person did something terrible to you yes, but not everyone linked in someway to that person.

  • @stevenstreets3 I don't carry the hate with me when if hypothetically speaking a teacher hits me out of anger, I don't go say I hate all teachers and the school board now, or if a person of a different race steals my things or insults me, I don't carry the hate with me and say I hate all of them now for what they did to me. That is just finding comfort in blame.

  • didn't talk about atheists did he ?, he validated the religious fakers but not the free thinkers.

  • the minute he finished his speech he went to Marylynne morons room and add sex, what a fucking hypocrite .

  • Why doesn't he mention non-religious people and institutions? He says an act against one church should be considered an act against all churches but nobody would think that an attack against one institution of scientific research is an attack against all of them. Yet science and religion are the same: an instinctual search for the truth. They're just carried out in opposite ways; science searches for truth through knowledge, religion uses ignorance.

  • I am old enough to remember what a "big deal" it was that Kennedy was catholic. I can remember my relitives in the midwest saying that if Kennedy won, the pope would be running the usa (lol)

  • At that time people were still religious enough to take it seriously.

JFK was only a namesake Catholic. He was ahead of his time in that sense.

  • @spasski1000 At that time? look at freakin red america ready to dissect obama's religious views before planting a burning cross on the white house lawn

  • @spasski1000 a President that believes in nothing is what you want, that president sure will be a declared piece of shit.

  • @spasski1000 and you are wrong, at the time most people in the US had other religious believess and they thought that because he had a different one from the mayority of the population, he would make his decisions against them (a silly thought indeed), At the end, they were (and still are) ignorant enough to not know that all "Christian" religions derivate from the Catholic Church and they shouldn't be afraid of it.

  • hey Moosey...what is "responibility"....what's that mean Moosey....you sure write funny Moosey....have you even seen the inside of a school?

  • If the American people would have only known just how little Kennedy's religion mattered to him, the whole issue could have been avoided.

  • Catholics Rule!

May God recieve Kennedy's soul into his loving embrace.

Come Lord Jesus, your bride awaits you!

  • Well,You really shouldn't be so proud of this country today,It has lost it's divine eyes, now it rejects God,looking now through the Pagan eyes of the goy.I pray you see that it is the catholic church who in truth is the truth.May God bless you.

  • @Sievad1991 the catholic church will be "The Truth" when it makes reparations and restitution to all it's sex abuse victims like me.

the catholic Church better do justice to it's own victims of religion or shut about God until it does. I'm not going to another religion because the catholic Church has proven them all false by it's own unfailing example

Now Pay Up, to me the equal of 30 years as a military musician, To impress Jesus go an extra 30 years worth like he said, or shut up about Jesus

  • I don't ever want to see another Catholic President until 2017 and he's already got my Wexican vote. Doing a great job Mr Biden. Keep pissing off the Bishops and you'll stay allright with me too. If they ever pay what they owe me I'll donate some election year. Keep Church out of State and both their hand's off our crotches. ego martyria

  • i dont want to see you alive in 2017 :)

  • What are you a Bishop or a Jihad head?

I've already had one bishop try to kill me in church before the alter. I got a broken knee out of it for GODs glory. It happened this very Feast Day of Dormintion/Assumption just a few years ago. Then God blessed me with 3 weeks in a row of winning lottery tickets while I recovered. I like the Lords health care. Religious people think they can do any violence in God or Jesus name just because some rightous thought came into their holy imagination.BIDEN 2016

  • I love this man

  • John Kennedy was the last real president.

  • JFK was a secret muslim.

    ;P....joke

  • agree with you William,Religious freedom yes is important, gives us the right to believe what we want, but when other sects of a different religion use THEIR OWN religion to oppress, discriminate, genocide or war,and condemn others for what they believe,it then becomes problematic.

  • Man, i din't really get the problem people have with religion. All we do is believe in a god that loves everyone, we think all people are equal, and we do good things for people. Besides, i don't think that anyone should try to remove my religion just cause they can't believe in Jesus christ our savior.

  • Soulfree is right,I say with Christian faith, but I think people take issue with religion when it is used to discriminate against other people of other religious beliefs or lack of.Like my friend blunt said once,an Evangelical In your face Christian is just as annoying as a evangelical Atheist.lol..

  • People have a right to believe what they believe.Don't condemn people for what they believe, that's if they are not hurting anyone by using that religion to do so..No-one has a right to take away your faith, whatever it is.

  • Hoover was a Quaker. I think Nixon was too.

  • @jd24717 yes, Nixon was a Quaker/Friend.

  • Further proof that as Obama declares a commitment to extend Bush's faith-based initiatives he is certainly no Kennedy.

  • WELL STANDARD- U were wrong. 1 of the first 10 things he did was CANCEL the faith based initiatives. I wish all the soothsayers and muckrakers would just STFU, cnd give him a chance to fix this CONSERVATIVE, CROOK, REPUBLICKIN MESS!!

  • when will we all just admit, "and i mean everyone!" that ALL religion is man made and misguided! and althuogh religion has "rot" some good things, like charity and the like - they all are perverted, start wars, and full of tribal hipocricies! WAKE UP! FUK RELIGION! HAIL THE "GOLDEN RULE", LOGIC AND COMMON SENSE! that's all we need!!!!!!

  • You are an uneducated clod. It's "wrought," not "rot." The idea that religion starts wars to any appreciable extent is an historical fallacy. It's spelled "hypocrisies." The Golden Rule is not "logic and common sense," it's a principle of reciprocity common to many of the world's religions. Before you bash religion, or anything else for that matter, at least prepare your statement well enough to look intelligent.

  • the "rot" was on purpose moron. and i admit a little haste in preparation. so ---- what! sue me bitch. i still was right. look at all history- armies led on religion. little diff' between a suicide bomber and a kamakazi and almost all others. uneducated clod. ----really or realy or reely, who cares? the message was more important dick.

  • You do no that what you just said is exactly the same as a christian saying "When will people admit that Jesus Christ is our only savior?" Your statement is just as closed-minded, intolerant, and disrespectful. Freedom of religion means freedom of ALL religion--the freedom to practice a religion, and the freedom to not practice a religion. Saying...er..."Fuk religion" is just as bad as saying "fuk islam".

  • I used to be that way-you have a point. and Im open to that way of thinking.. except ask how many religious devouts would give thier life fighting for my right not to believe as I would for thier right to believe.!! WHEN (now I don't want to offend any of the "flat world society" members),THAT BULLSHIT WE CALL RELIGION IS OUTDATED! BASED ON NO FACTUAL EVIDENCE! FULL OF HIPOCRICIES & PREJUSTICES! STARTS WARS! TREATS WOMEN UNEQUAL! etc. etc.! It's all tribal and we can do better!!! oh & FUK ISLAM!

  • Jesus Christ, religion can be updated just like any other philosophy. It's only moronic christian fanatics, muslim extremists, etc., who think that we need to follow the bible or the Koran to the letter, as though it's meant to be literal, in this modern day and age. The catholic church has accepted evolution and the solar system...and their religion hasn't fallen apart. It can adapt.

  • If you can adapt , thats good.

most religious devoits can't. Bsides it would be pretty hard to translate things like, the parting of the red sea, marrying a 9 yr old, golden (stones?) divine scripture found by 1 chosin man in some cave, Zenu, etc. etc. . no these stories are myths for a reason. If the writings are not literal, then they are open to all interpretations, hence so many denominations... no religion in the cllassic sense has any place in my dreamworld of peace, science and truth.

  • All those myths are just what they were meant to be: myths, which illustrate the guiding principles of human nature through the use of metaphor (one of the most useful communication devices ever conceived of). It's only when people take these things so seriously and personally that they start opressing and killing each other does religion turn ugly.

  • I respect your comments/intellect alot. but I am sure the world would be a better place if we could all get on the same page about this one! Afterall the truth fits us all! I have studied theology, for 3 yrs intensly and for the rest of my life, and came up with the same answers= "all gods are imaginary, open interpretation leads to other problems like religious wars, if they are imaginary- howabout something real, and all the times i've seen it fog the minds of otherwise clear decision makers.

  • Church-state separation is an idea which has been percolating in western civilization and society for two thousand years, ever since the New Testament teaching to render unto Caeser what is Caeser's and to God, what is God's.

  • An example of religious intrusion in the public sphere occurs e.g. in Saudi Arabia where women are generally exluded on religious grounds. There, as well, govt intrudes in the private sphere and forbids homes to have Christmas trees.

  • Read last six comments in reverse order. Recommend interested parties see Kennedy speeches on same theme in WV primary and Secret Societies clips. (on ejm413)

  • Kennedy's speech to the Houston ministers is understood by most Americans instinctively. They have imbibed the principle of separation of church and state since birth; indeed their forebearers have for generations spanning two centuries.

  • As a religious nation, the United States also has an appreciation for legitimate religious organizations, for their beliefs, tradtions, and teachings. They are very important for the life of the nation. However, the American people also recognize that this realm, although very important, has limitations placed on it in the political arena, and in some ways in public life in general.

  • Conversely, political and public issues are generally excluded from consideration by the churches--no one for example asks a church to participate in fiscal policy formation. It is a fine balance, and a balance which works to preserve the personal freedoms we enjoy. It is also a balance which removes sectarian differences from policy formation, indeed from public life. We should applaud this.

  • Obama says he cannot walk away from his minister. If his ministers views are reprehensible, a politician has the duty to walk away.

  • His minister is his friend. His friend has racist tendencies, yes, but you're just as likely to abandon your racist greatgrandfather as he would his minister. Just because you support them as humans doesn't mean you share the same views as them.

  • To MEB: I would lose the MEB moniker. It doesn't seem to be relevant to the American landscape, and it doesn't inspire any confidence.

  • It was the Russian Communists who saved the world from the Fascists and Nazies; the Irish, the Vatican and the Americans ratlined those Nazies religiously to Ireland and South America... Do you really believe in the absolute separation of Church and State.... Look at the Supreme Court....

  • Romney is no Kennedy, that's for sure.

    Obama is.

  • If you only vote based on abortion, you're kind of a moron. Also, Obama is far from an "abortion crazed monster." He just merely says that the law should stay as is.

I'm pro life, don't get me wrong, but your comment was ignorant and moronic.

  • ha, I was focusing on the point why he isn't like Kennedy, see? Trust me, there are other reasons, but that's what separates them both. Sorry if I over-reacted, I was a little mad today.

  • +1 point for honesty and being human.

  • Please do not think I am endorsing your views on abortion, I am endorsing your views on rationality.

  • @Pwells1 , Liberal Liar

  • @Pwells1 who the fuck cares what our presidential primate thinks about ANY issue? he'll be out of office in a little over a year. the most precipitous drop in voter popularity ever recorded. he's an empty suit. a complete incompetent. his opinion on abortion intrests me no more than britney spears' opinion on the origin of the universe.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood Is he a "primate" because he's black? Just curious.

Also, you might want to look at the ideas of Michelle Bachmann and the rest of the Republicans. I assure you, they are the incompetents.

  • @Pwells1 mr obama has been in office for almost 3 years and has done nothing to solve America's problems. his disrespect for the wishes of the American people is disgusting, trying to force a healthcare system down their throats that a full 70% of Americans said they did not want due to the extravagant cost.

obama's "solution" to the economic crisis is to SPEND money and when it runs out PRINT more money. he understands nothing about even basic economics.

he is as good as a monkey in office.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood The republicans have blocked him and dems at every turn with a record number of filibusters, not allowing him to do anything to solve America's problems. And if you thought the economy could be fixed overnight, then you are a massive fool. Know the republican plan for healing the economy? Don't do anything. You do realize that not doing anything means that it'll take LONGER to fix the economy than doing something, right?

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood You should also look at the economics of Reagan, Bush Sr. and Bush Jr, and see how "fiscally conservative" they were, lmao. They are the ones who ran up the debt in the first place. Obama and the dems ran it up now because we were in a crisis. Also, we needed healthcare reform, and if not for the massive misinformation campaign by republicans, then the nation would be for the bill. Also, it was entirely filled with REPUBLICAN IDEAS, first put forth by Romney and Dole

  • @Pwells1

yeah, that explains why obama's "solution" is to PRINT money.

and as far as bush goes, 2 words -- Arab Spring.

you idiot liberals understand NOTHING of the real world. your stupidity is dragging this country down and destroying it.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood This nation has been printing money for the past century. If you think Obama invented that, then you are truly clueless.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood And are you really crediting Bush for Arab Spring??? REALLY? That is laughable. And also, I love how you just excuse Bush's racking up of the national debt, and getting us locked into situations that Obama can't get out of (the tax cuts on the wealthy, the gigantic gap in distribution of income, the wars, etc) which are one of the biggest reasons our debt continues to climb.

    You are so clueless.

  • @Pwells1

you failed to support a single claim you just made.

do i credit Bush for the Arab Spring? yes. yes i do.

Bush responded to 9/11 by rolling into iraq and ousting their dictator saddam hussein. contrary tothe liberal CLAIMS that he was there to steal oil, HE GAVE IRAQ FREEDOM, and then walked away.

that tatse of freedom, enjoyed by iraqis, sparked the arab spring in egypt, syria, and libya.

or do you think it's just one big coincidence. you fucking moron.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood And again, where did the ideas of Obamacare come from? REPUBLICANS. All of them were originally republican ideas, alternatives to a single payer system or public option. Yet now they're socialist. Ronald Reagan raised the debt. Ronald Reagan printed money. Ronald Reagan raised taxes in a recession. Ronald Reagan, during all of his presidency save the last year, had a higher tax rate on the wealthy than Obama is proposing. Was Reagan a socialist?

  • @Pwells1 Reagan lowered taxes and it resulted in an economic boom, more tax income for the government and a balanced budget.

Reagan was one of the best presidents this country has ever had.

Obama is a JOKE. the only reason he won the election was that 96% of black voters voted for him.

why did they do that? because he was the best man for the job with a proven track record for successful governing? no. because of the color of his skin. that's racism pal. and now look at the mess that caused.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood Reagan had a balanced budget??? Bush walked away from Iraq??? What are you smoking? Bush stayed in Iraq, and we are still there. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, and going there is a BIG reason why we have the debt crisis we have. And Arab Spring is for a number of reasons, including the booming of technology and internet and entertainment and culture overtaking the younger generation. Also, us going into Iraq RADICALIZED Iran, which was on the verge of an Arab spring befor

  • @Pwells1

Try reading what I wrote and thinking about it. Bush accomplished EXACTLY what he was after by taking Hussein out of Iraq. You make it sound like giving Iraq freedom was a bad thing ("had nothing to do with 9/11"). what a moron.

and as far as iran goes, they were radical 30 years ago. you can't blame Bush for them you idiot.

but hey, you keep "thinking" crap like this and see what happens to your country in a few years. we're going down pal. c/o mr obama, the primate president.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood Look at the debt we got into by going into Iraq. You scream about how Democrats are driving us into debt that will crush our economy. Bush more than DOUBLED the national debt with his Iraq campaign, and yet you give him a free pass. We couldn't afford it. We still can't afford it. You act like it's ok for us to police the world, and like that has no repercussions. The history of Iran and Iraq says otherwise. Iran had a more liberal young movement that was on the verge (cont)

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood of gaining momentum in Iran. When we went into Iraq, Iran radicalized even more than it was before. That is a fact. Also, our involvement in the area more than a decade prior is what CREATED Saddam in the first place. He was our buddy and trusted ally once upon a time, remember? The world doesn't need us to show them freedom through imperial wars. The mass media touching youngsters is what is awakening these countries and the new generation.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood So, if I have a choice of cutting the imperial wars that create problems like Saddam that we later have to solve by taking out the person we supported, all creating a world culture that spits on America and drives the narrative terrorists tell people in order to recruit members, or cutting the medicaid that keeps my Grandpa alive when he otherwise could not afford his heart operations and care, hmm, which to choose. Which to choose.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood "mr obama, the primate president." Again, you are racist. Do you not understand the history of comparing black people to apes?

  • @Pwells1

i MOCK obama not because he is black, but because HE IS DESTROYING AMERICA.

i am MARRIED to a black woman for christ sake. i can hardly be called a racist.

the "racist" moniker is quickly shouted by the liberal in response to conservatives who are asking the question "why are we allowing so many illegal aliens to stream across our borders?". conservatives see school systems buckling under the weight of illegals. hospitals too.

racist blacks elected obama. 96% of black voters. 96%!.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood Is your wife hot?

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood maybe you are a closet racist hiding behind a black women just like gay men did till the 60's and even now in different parts of the world??? anyway, just posing a question, no disrespect or anything.

  • @GusBariga

um, yeah. maybe that's it. or maybe obama is an incompetent MONKEY with NO IDEAS and couldn't lead a BOY SCOUT TROOP let alone an entire country.

wake up and face the music. dumb asses JUST LIKE YOU elected that man BECAUSE HE WAS BLACK.

it isn't racist to call a spade a spade. it would be racist if i said that NO black man was competent to run this country.

and did i say that? no, i didn't.

it is YOU who is hiding behind the word "racism". hiding from the TRUTH.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood And one last point. It's important to note that the majority of Obama massive spending (or loss of revenue) relates directly to our downturned economy. One time stimulus expenditures, TARP (passed under Bush), increase in food stamps and unemployment checks, decrease in tax revenue, etc etc. Many of these would have occured under McCain as well.

  • @Pwells1

the problem with this discussion is that you never stick to ONE point. you, like your liberal ilk, keep moving the goal posts. try responding to my points about OBAMA without resorting to the childing "well Bush did this or Bush did that". try responding to each argument i made instead of constantly changing the subject.

George Bush is no conservative. REAGAN was a conservative. I didn't particularly like Bush's domestic policies either. and mccain is a JOKE.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood before we swung them the other direction. Arab Spring would have happened regardless of Iraq, and perhaps sooner. Support a claim I made? Look it up yourself, which you have failed to do. And again, I can't support a party that supports not teaching science in schools, that supports gay discrimination, that supports theocracy and taking out anger on muslims and immigrants. Now If republicans grew up on these social issues, and were ACTUALLY fiscally conservative...

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood But hey, if you want your kid to be denied health care coverage based on a preexisting condition, or want yourself to be denied in the future, then that's the world you chose. Also, you can look forward to not being able to afford your health care bills when you start having heart or arthritis or kidney etc issues after medicaid is stripped away. Have fun with that. And I know we all want to live in a world where seperation of church and state is nonexistent.

  • @Pwells1

yes, dumb ass, BUT WE CANNOT AFFORD FREE HEALTH CARE. we cannot even afford medicare and social security. and mr obama, the stupid monkey that he is, thinks he can PRINT money to pay for it and everything will be fine.

do you understand why republicans refuse to raise taxes on the rich?

    because:

    a. it does not result in more money for the government, but less; because

    b. it results in the rich cutting jobs to pay for their taxes.

    liberals are fucking CHILDREN.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood a) You obviously don't know what the health care plan says at all.

    b) The rich already pay a lower tax rate than the middle class, because after all the write offs they get, their rate is actually lower

    c) The stats on wealth split in this country, higher than ever, show that the rich don't need to cut jobs to pay

    d) Calling a black man a "monkey" is racist, you do realize.

    e) Every republican save Paul seems anti gay and anti islam, and pro theocracy. I can't vote for that.

  • @Pwells1

    you obviously:

    a. watch a LOT of MSNBC; and

    b. believe everything you hear.

keep "thinking" by parroting the liberal talking points as though they're your original thoughts and see what happens to your country.

i'm old. it won't bother me to see America go down in flames fanned by liberal over-spending, over-taxing, and idiotic economic policies. it's YOUR country pal. YOUR future. think about that and then think of what i said a few years from now when it's all over. you did it.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood You obviously

    a. watch a lot of Fox News

    b. believe everything you hear

keep "thinking" by parroting the conservative talking points as though they're your original thoughs and see what happens to your country.

See how that kind of talk gets us nowhere? And who said I was a liberal? I'm a moderate who speaks the truth. The republican party are not true conservatives, and they are so radical that I can't possibly vote for them.

  • I knew Cheetah.

Cheetah was a friend of mine.

And Mr Obama? You look exactly like Cheetah.

  • They also come from two very different times. Back when Kennedy was alive, abortion was unthinkable.

  • Well, if the people trying to outlaw abortion weren't also trying to get condoms and the pill outlawed, there would be a lot fewer abortions going on.

What Kennedy talks about here could also be applied to the abstinence only bullshit that's being spewed out to students in America's schools.

  • Well the pill and then condom are different story, but I do agree with you that bullshit is being spewed in America's schools, definetly

  • That's right. Such a wise man he was. He was on the right track. If only we could get a man or woman in office with HIS morals?

  • Morals don't matter, knowledge, wisdom and experience do.

Read Machiavelli's "The Prince". Even if Machiavelli was trying to impress a ruling family, it makes a lot of sense.

  • I personally believe all of those things have to come together to make a strong good-hearted human being.

The book you mentioned sounds like it will prove to be very insightful? Thanks for the comment.

  • You're right about all those things coming together to make a good-hearted person, however to be a good leader one doesn't have to be moral....

  • Excellent.

  • He showed us how, folks - we have to do it ourselves. Get up, stand up for your rights!

  • They must really think we're stupid if they want us to believe Romney is anything like this guy.

  • One of the best speeches he ever gave. Its so sad nowadays that if you're a different religion from

someone else, or if you have no religion that you're a "bad person" to most everyone in our society.

  • kennedy really was one of a kind... it's a shame we don't have him today!

  • yeah!... we need another Kennedy!!

  • Jack, my generation needs you.
