I had a Cannondale Rush. Nothing but fit and finish problems. Bad symmetry, crushed tubing. Then the dealers and the factory give you the run around when you need help. Sold the frame, kept the parts.

I both owned a Sp. Epic and currently ride a Scalpel. Both are good but there is something that makes me feel better about Cannondale.

The Scalpel is more smooth and I love the Lefty carbon, to me that's the coolest front suspension, it works great.

I have a 2007 Rush.  Took a huge 8' high spill that taco'd and destroyed the front wheel but the Lefty and frame were unhurt. Awesome bike.

hey StrawberryDreamin, i totally feel for you. that must totally suck. the other day my family was drivin back from Philip Island, Australia and my F7 almost fell off the bike rack!! the F7 is awesome cause i put my front forks onto the lowest restsitance, so it just soaks up all the bumbs. could someone tell me the name of this song.

I just bought a rush 5model small and I THINK ITS like the best, Sadly it fell off my car and slid under another car. Now I have a cannondale moto :) and this time ill be more carful to secure the bike first then drive lol

Valeu brother, eu uso a lefty a pelo menos 8 anos assim q lançaram eu comprei e posso dizer q é a melhor suspensão q ja usei... leve, confiavel e quase não precisa de manutenção (uma revisão por ano é suficiente) eu uso e aprovo,

the only other bike brand I've ever demoed that can hold a candle to a Cannondale is a Yeti. I hear Santa Cruz' are pretty amazing too. I just have to save up enough money so my broke ass can afford any of them.

Uhh... they didn't discontinue it. Cannondale still sells the Rush... something like eight models of it, actually.

Single pivot is the strongest/lightest suspension design, plus less parts to worry about wearing out. Ever heard of Foes bikes, who pride themselves on their single pivot swing arms, while maintaining their place at the top of the bike world. Either way, you are taking rotational motion and converting it to almost linear; why make it more complicated with 30 joints and pivot points? Cannondale puts a lot of thought into their bikes, try putting more thought into your comments.

yeah,i have to say i agree with you in some way,but...i really like how floating pivit feels,hahaha...single pivit is not sensitive enough but thats why its easy to control,what you said is totally right...

but!why more and more people are getting floating now?would you tell me the reason?

why are people buying double pivots? They look fancy and they cost more money, therefore they must be better, right (sarcasm)? Now once you josh bender's level with huge travel, double pivots allow for a better wheel to shock travel ratio, so you can keep the 3 inch stroke shocks with 1000 lb springs. Granted this is an XC bike with 3-4 inches of travel, and granted it has been a top rated bike for some time, a single pivot design seems to work nicely.
