This animated movie is eerie in the sense that it captures the physics of the world we know, and yet, we are aware it is all generated. Attention to detail has not been spared; having said that, the child does not fool me, as there is something unnatural about him. There is something unnatural about all the humans in this movie, and I cannot quite put my finger on it. Perhaps it is the underlying facial geometry? It is certainly not the rendering!

For me, Disney has always been the McDonald's of the movie industry; the packaging is pretty but in the end we always end up eating the same regurgitated pablum. A friend of mine told me, "Every animator would like to work for Disney but there isn't an animator that wants to stay with Disney." So while I appreciate you sharing some pretty animation of theirs I would really have prefered something original - even if you had to scrape it from the bottom of your shoe. Just my opinion...

i thought aniboom was about average joe's like me creating animations and sending them in. this is a clip of a disney. unfortunately i have to thumbs this down as its made by a big corporation with professional equipment. sorry about that.

@crazymate2000 Yes, you're right. Disney is not the same as an independent animator, they indeed have much more resources in order to create their films. Aniboom is about showcasing as wide a range of animation as we can - professional studios included. We are all for our independent animators and do all we can to promote them, but once in a while we might do something a little different. :)

Hmm I have mixed feelings about this one. I mean sure it looks great and the animation is really amazing, however, it was made by a big corporation. I guess I always though of aniboom as people or group of people sharing their animations for opportunities. Dinsey does not need this kind of advertisement and I feel like this video shouldn't be on aniboom. It's unfortunate but I'll have to thumbs this down.

@MaxTheHat Like I replied to @crazymate2000 and @RobyllPhotos, what you say is true - Aniboom is mainly a place for independent animators to have their work showcased and receive comments from fellow animators and viewers. However, we are also about showing a wide range of animations, even if it is from a large corporation. The animation in this clip is stunning, so we thought it would be nice to share it with you all.

Yes, if not the lubricants will vapourise. And lubricants that don't require pressurisation are expensive and the hydraulics would extend in a vacuum because they require back pressure to hold them in place.
