  • Oh and the cypher at the end

  • Sorry those reed are dreadfully out of tune - period

  • I could listen to these old great pipe organs all day, love them!! What piece is he playing in this vid ?? Thanks ....

  • @jteamaz He is playing March Pontificale, by Charles Widor

  • I played this organ 2 weeks ago, and all I can say is WOW, the pedal division is amazing

  • Wonderful!

Platinum rating both for the instrument AND the performance.

    Can we have more, please?!

  • The pipes in the center were leafed in what was a revolutionary metal for the time....Aluminum.

  • It is equal temperament, as were all Odell instruments.

  • I am sure that it is equal temperament, but an A435 instrument. Very few American made pipe organs were on anything but equal temperament until more recent. Look at the Hook organs that were made about the same time as well as Felgemaker, Moller, Farrand-Voty, Jardine, Pilcher, Barkhoff, etc. It is a very nice sounding instrument and the OHS has very nice conventions. Wish I could attend them.

  • This is interesting! What is the temperament? An Odell from 1890 would not have been equal?

  • What a magnificent sound. Aural as well as visual beauty, too. That's my kind of bank! Thanks for sharing this video. Bruise in the Mutastery

  • I could sop that organ up with a pile of biscuits!

  • Wonderfull hall and organ! The not perfect tuning makes a nice antique sound! I love the reeds "timbre". Widor's Marche Pontificale sounds great on this organ!

  • @jeanseborg

    amen to that!

  • @jeanseborg This is probably closest to a Cavaille-Coll as an American Builder could get! Odell's are wonderful Organs and still are!

  • My professor!!!!!!

  • The divisions thus far restored seem to be working great! Keep up the good work! It would have been a real waste to have lost this instrument to apathy and neglect.

  • So wonderful to hear this voice from the past! (And so close we came to never hearing it again.)

  • ME GUSTA ESE ORGANO....

  • Aw, wow! Another fabulous production and a great message. Thank you, Vic.

  • Many thanks to all who were involved in preserving this gem!

  • I attended this concert and really enjoyed the video from it.

  • Excellent work! Thanks for this!
