@tasumio12 I think you are talking about sakura hair right? when I getrid of sakura's hair and only have the background? if that's the case, I don't 'erase' it. You have to you the smudge tool ((it looks like a little hand pointing at something)).

Or is it just tracing over a picture with good programs like CS3 and good color editing programs?

also put your colors on different layers too

the program is gimp (which is in the description -_-) and when u make ur line with the path tool...there should be a button that says 'stroke path'..click it and then ur line should be black ...hope that helped ^^"
