well i got a 02 or 01 rubicon,yellow,(ebay),mud/snow 589s a snorkel that is 5 foot from the ground, airtubes all up to the handlebars, exhaust snorkel 4 feet from ground,umm and gunna bore it out and get gear redution soon, but yea rubicons r best honda bike ever.

bike will be OK some people just need to learn simple things, check oil, drain air box, pull plug turn over to blow water out, and you may have to clean the carburetor out some bike you can put on rear wheels and the carburetor will flush some bikes you need to blow out breather repeatedly.

just cause it gets in your intake dont mean it gets in your oil, on my bike atleast it will get in oil only cause the crank case breather is in the air box, but my wife sunk hers a couple of times its ok besides the carburater getting trash in it.

oh that makes sence. i built a beast of a rincon with some bad ass tractor tires and a snorkel but unfurtunatly after a few times through the water the air box plug fell out so i had to put a new head, piston, rings, and valves on it I check the air box each time now

Thats sucks. I siliconed a lot of things around the airbox and carb that really didnt need it just to to safe. I also check my airbox for water everytime after I ride in deep water. I also sealed my pull start and weep hole. No matter how much you try you will never have the atv fully sealed. Water will eventually get in somehow.

I usually have the elbow turned forward for when im riding down the road so it sucks air better. I just forgot to turn it around when i got in the water. And no it didnt hurt anything. Just drained the exhaust and airbox, checked oil for water and all was well. Been running great ever since

just a tip if you get ur quad fixed and running you should turn the elbow around on the top of the snorkel so it doesnt get water splashed in

That would be a 2004. Changed the body style in 05. It started right up when we got it out after i drained the airbox checked oil and ran water outta the muffler. Been running fine ever since. We are from Alabama the beautiful. :-)
