I'm a 15 year old boy, and times I wish I could lose my virginity(since the guys talk about "smashing" with girls and with the whole high school thing). But after watching several vids(including this one) I've decided to just stay abstinent till marriage, becuase, these STDs look scary as hell.
@krzyt101 I don't believe one can place a number on that. If both partners are HIV-, then the chance of contracting HIV is 0. There is a risk involved if one has unprotected sex with a person who does not know their status or is HIV+. However if one is HIV+, after watching this video they should know the proper steps to preventing any spread of the virus.
Condoms are not perfect. They do not GUARANTEE that HIV won't be transmitted. They can break, for example. However, if used correctly (roll down over the shaft not pulled like a sock, no oil-based lubricant, remove promptly after ejaculation, etc.) they greatly reduce the risk of HIV transmission.
Grateful for the information. I need to hear this. I have long since behaved as if everyone I encounter has a superinfectious, drug resistant strain of HIV but doesn't know it himself. This really curbs my promiscuous nature. When someone hot entices me with unprotected sex I have replied, "No, Thanks. I want to live." I've missed out on alot of great sex as a result but I am still negative (as far as I know, but don't take my word for it.)
well im a medical doctor and no you cannot get hiv by kissing someone unless that opposite sex your kissing has a cut in his or her mouth or is bleeding then yes you may get it as well
The video information is fully up to date. Why do you believe that infection with multiple strains of HIV has been "proven" to be no more hazardous than with a single strain of HIV? Each strain can be resistant to different medications, complicating treatment or causing treatment failure. There's also concern they might recombine and generate a new strain with additional resistance or increased virulence.
Virologists in Europe have said that so called superinfections or re-infections are a media hype. There is little or no proof that this phenomen actually exists. There is a slight chance that a person can be re-infected with a different strain of the virus if they are on meds and stop for a significant length of time. However the chances of this happening have been diagnosed as negligible to zero.
The incidents where different strains of Hiv recombine and add additional resistance are zero.
"It is now known that dual HIV infection, defined as the presence of two distinct HIV strains in a patient, can occur. The best evidence for this phenomenon is the existence of recombinant viruses that contain genetic material from two different parental strains. Recombinant viruses can only be created by the simultaneous replication of the two parental strains in the same patient." [Joel Blankson, "HIV Superinfection: Can Patients Be Infected Twice?" Johns Hopkins AIDS Service May 2004]
For the record, YT user AIDSvideos (Eric Krock) is a volunteer with no medical training as noted at AIDSvideos site. HIV is a global health emergency. It's not right to put the burden of HIV prevention education work solely on those most affected, the HIV positive. HIV negative people must help too. This video in no way moralizes about those who are HIV positive; it provides them free, accurate, up-to-date info about ways to reduce their own risk and that of their partners.

I Like your Video and Made the Personal choice that "My Strain" of HIV would stop with me.
But You seem to come off as scarey, more then educational. I Honestly Take Full Responsability for My Infection, But I also tell EVERYONE Poz Or Neg. U should Act Like EVERYONE u have sex with, Has HIV. cause no one ever knows, down to the last sex act, or other transmission, they are Neg. But other then That, GREAT WORK.

Scientists are not claiming that every sexual partner (even an exclusive partner) of an HIV+ person will necessarily become HIV+. For example, if an HIV+ person has sex with an HIV- person, they might choose to reduce the risk by using a condom and other barrier prevention methods. The fact that a particular HIV+ person's partner(s) didn't become HIV+ doesn't mean that HIV *never* spreads between sexual partners.
i heard if u squirt lemon juice in a chick's pussy you can kill a lot of the viruses with the acidicness of the juice. try googling it its crazy they say they do it in a lot of foreign countries and some of em even ram half a lemon up the chick for prevention
I'm aware of no scientific evidence that lemon juice is safe and effective for the prevention of anything. At first blush this sounds like another unfounded belief.

Unfortunately almost all of the info is completely outdated. Super infection for example has been proved to be a myth.

Every primal infection could be seen as a multiple infection where the dominant strain succeeds to multiply at the cost of the others.
This puts a so called 'super infection' in a different light.
However, there is a difference between discussing virusses and moralising about people who are infected.
I humbly suggest you do the one you are trained for and leave the other to those who are infected.
